He knows it because his parents use to bring him to the island knowing he wanted to be a hero but his idle thought he wasn't good enough so he wanted to prove him wrong by becoming better than other heros which meant killing them all. With all heros dead that would make him the only hero therefore making him the best!

I just finished watching a fan channel's clip of this episode, and I'm convinced of the need to subscribe to channel *AI Candii.* She doesn't have a lot of videos yet, but I like that they aren't all +1 hour in length. I have trouble watching videos that are more than 45 minutes long, so channels that are exclusively mutli-hour length videos I tend not to subscribe to.
