- Footage from traction engine road runs during the 2023 Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza on May Day. We also take a brief look at miniature steam and a tram model at the Llandudno Transport, before finally seeing Locomotive Services Limited Blue 'Midland Pullman' HST departing Llandudno with a railtour.
Steam exhibits advertised for the event were:
‘Dreadnaught’ 1909 8nhp Burrell showman’s road locomotive, owned by Mr Frank Lythgo
‘Renown’ 1920 8nhp Fowler showman’s road locomotive, owned by the Howard Family.
‘Victoria’ 1899 Foden agricultural traction engine, owned by Mr J. Bownes.
‘Sir William’ 1917 Foster agricultural traction engine, owned by P & G Smith.
‘Foremost’ 1911 Fowler road locomotive, owned by Mr J. Walker
‘Captain Scott’ 1913 Mclaren road locomotive, owned by Mr W. Woodward.
‘Evening Star’ 1917 Fowler showman’s road locomotive, owned by Mr M. Priestner
‘Wait and see’ 1921 Burrell showman’s road locomotive, owned by the Thwaites family
‘Prospector’ 1910 Foden showman’s road locomotive, presented by Mr E. Atkinson

I was there for all 3 days and I was told that there wasn't a parade and I didn't see any evidence of there being one on any of the days.
Yeah shame no full parade this year, think they put that down to staffing/costs.
@@preservedrailway They couldn't get insurance, apparently.
