They overtook apple in 2018 to the number 2 spot and with the release of p30 pro in march 2019, they were miles ahead in the flagship segment but after just two months they were banned by the u.s by the reason of national security concerns (lol if you believe that I feel sorry for you). Huawei was just advancing too fast that the west needed to ban them or else they will be left behind.
Had a friend who worked with Huawei for a bit and can confirm that there are some shady coding going on in their softwares. If you’re not sure what it means, those misleading codes that some don’t even serve any purposes are meant to confuse you and hide something else they don’t want people noticing in the code

If you are an iPhone user or you know how iPhone users use their phones you will have little problem using an Huawei phone. Its Harmony OS is just another different os on the market that's all.

you don't really need google play services. I just used PHONE CLONE app and transferred all my apps from old phone, viber, what's app, fb, bank application, netflix...everything

I wish I was smart enough to read it or at least change the settings to English.

Snapdragon are fast but usually not optimized on the other hand Kirin were one of the best chip out there very well optimized no heating whatsoever it's sad Huawei can't make Kirin chips anymore 😑
Snapdragon in terms of raw performance, Kirin is better optimized for Huawei/Honor smartphones but due to the US ban, they've been falling behind in performance & efficiency
Display is curved. Headphone jack and microSD card slots are missing. 5G support for future proofing is missing. Google Play store support is missing. Mediocre battery endurance. Plastic frame. High asking price. This is totally a deal breaker.
The camera of this phone no doubt takes good photos, but the processor and price is a let down and no Google services. Par behind the competition. Left on the shelves for now.

They should just focus in releasing laptops. Their current laptops and accessories are good. The phone lineup is already dead despite their best effort to put alternatives in their system.

I'm using nova 9 and still I'm satisfied with it. Fast and reliable phone. Planing to buy P50 Pro
P50 PRo is a nice phone, but if you want to use the more advanced Harmony OS 3, then check out the Mate 50 Pro.
I've heard that P50 series are delisted in most markets, but Huawei is going to introduce P60 in the coming months.

Wrong. A lot of apps are in english where I am from in the UK, Europe on AppGallery. Some games are Chinese
