- Looking to remove unwanted noise from your audio or video? Here's the solution. In this video, I will show you how I easily remove unwanted noise from my videos using Izotope RX Advanced.
This is the one piece of software I use on every video I create on my channel or any client's channel. I've been using Izotope RX for a long time, and it is a game changer. I'll show you how simple it is to remove noise, how great the software actually works, and why it should be something you should 100% have on your computer as a content creator.

Damn Scott you read my mind! I’m a full time editor and have had some troubling audio on my last two projects! Perfect timing for this!
Fantastic software for sure. Definitely check it out. It’ll change your world.
Izotope is an instant ROI. Every single piece of audio goes through it with Dialogue Isolate (which is sort of the same as denoise) and Leveler.
Agreed that it’s instant roi. Isolate has huge strengths but should be used for different things than isolate too. Both incredible tools for sure.
Hello there @Scot McKenna have a challenge here. Removing the constant background noise of a drone while speak to camera. Want my dialogue to be clean as possible. What's the best thing to do? Once you make izotope learn that noise, can you copy/paste that pattern? thanks!
It does magic in noise removal in just about anything.
I love Izotope RX. I got it after seeing the first video you did on it, and it’s a game changer. Waves Clarity VX is also a pretty insane plug-in for denoising and background noise removal. Thanks for all the knowledge you share, Scott!
It’s the best software ever. Glad you like it. Waves does good stuff as well for sure.
Acon digital Denoise is still the best of all. Next is clarity. In some cases those 2 work together to get you your desired result. I work on post production a living.
Great video! I'm just not sure I'm doing right because when I try to remove white noise from my asmr audio, it affects my whispered voice and others sounds like mouth clicking, objects tapping etc.
Do you have any advice? 🫤
iZotope is awesome!!
Heck yea it is.
Have you ever used Adoboe Audition? If you have what would say the difference is? I would love to hear you feedback.
Yes. Audition is a good program as a whole especially since it’s built in. But nothing truly compares to Izotope.
@@scottmckenna Thank you for you feed back. I would like to see a Premier over look some day. Keep rocking it!
I had a person speaking - being picked up with a lav mic - with a cell phone in a shoulder purse (I didn't know it was there). Twice, I got cell phone clicking noises coming through the lav mic. There is nowhere that she is not talking where I can get an isolated sample of the noise. Is there any other way I can attack the issue? It's mostly on the top end, but that is a lot to attempt to 'paint out'. A cross between declicking and decrackle is mostly, but not completely effective. I was hoping to go surgical, but the noise takes up a lot of the spectral image in those places.
Depending on the extend of the noise, noise removal can be very difficult no doubt about it. Spectral repair sometimes has good results, but depending on how loud the sound is, and how consistent it is, and also what frequency it is, plays a big factor.
How to remove sudden honks or sneezes from voiceovers? Can't find any video about this.
I could not make any content living in the apartment that I live at if I didn't have RX. My neighbors are so disrespectful and loud it's mind boggling, so some of my recordings still come out a lil less perfect than I'd like, but if you heard any of those files prior to being ran in RX... just absolutely trash haha
Best software repair ever. I agree.
STOP using the term PRINT!! Do you bounce out each track from protools to punch card or optical film????
