Thanks for the tips! Gonna get the plug-in tonight and try it out! Also, your singing voice totally reminds me of the lead singer of the band, Phoenix. One of my favorite bands so I mean that in the best way possible!
Brian, very good presentation - both, 1 & 2. However, the RX9 did a mediocre job at best on the string squeaks. Have the RX7 & hardly use it. Have also the older SL (SpectraLayers) Pro 4.0. Much better & easier than RX. It has tools like the Lasso, Magic wand & Harmonics. Removes completely squeaks, fingernail clicks on the gt top, buzz + noise w/out effect on sound. Alas, the latest version is pricey.
Not sure if this helps, but for acoustic steel string guitar (SJ-200 and J-45) I use D'Addario XS mediums. They have really cut down some of the finger squeak for me. Still not 100% sold on coated strings for the long term but this made a huge difference for me.
@@BrianHoffpauer Brian, the issue here is RX9 v SL4.0 on cleaning squeaks in post-production. Have tried coated strings - unimpressed. Have a gorgeous 43 y old vintage Larrivee L10 & use GHS or D'Addario phosphor bronze medium. Have a listen to an old recording w/ German Maxima 24 carat gold plated strings. ruclips.net/video/5TEZYQlRiI4/видео.html Have rarely squeak issues, only on very quick chord changes. Got rid of it w/ SL 4.0 within minutes. The RX SW is over rated. At 3:50 is the Larrivee: ruclips.net/video/v_EC5ys1L9s/видео.html (both clips are full HD) And, thanks for the memories. Had had the SJ-200 and Guild 12 str & Gibson LP Custom in the late '70s while in the music biz. Sold my rig (Fender Twin, Marshall 100 & Vox 60) & the gts when moving to the US from Zurich, CH. Kept but the Larrivee. Regret selling the gts. If you have your music on-line, send me links.
I wish Waves would do a Clarity for acoustic guitar as the VX versions are seriously impressive.I have RX 7 and I'm not rushing to upgrade...+ I actually like the sound of the guitar squeaks- (depending on context) sounds human and real.

So so cool 😎 really great tuition, thank you so much
Thanks. Very helpful.
This was very helpful to watch thank you!
The best vid compared to others ice watched
Great video!
I would not remove the guitar squeak, to me that would be like removing a scar on fine leather
This was great! I feel way more confident 😁👍🏽
Is there a module for unwanted voices in the background of a live recording?
Wave Clarity Vx works for me better! :)
Does the output stay synced in my Daw?

Anyone having issues with the latest Ozone 9 Advanced updated on macOS Monterey? Specifically scanning plug-ins within Ozone?
Haven't had any issues so far
What you call problems, I call character.
Denoise - made vocals weak... 😢
I won't use.
Sorry but I changed RX9 advanced for Waves Clarity VX... It works a lot better for noise reduction
Clarity VX is only for speech and can’t tackle plosives, pick sounds or guitar squeaks
@@0letdown0 yes, you're right, but when we talk about noise reduction for vocals/speech, Clarity VX wins...
@@DanielDiaz-wy2hubg noise is only a small portion of what this video is about, but I hear you.
I use them both depending on need but Clarity Pro is a best and works faster
