I put 13 shiners (leftover bait) in my pond many years ago, within 2 years of putting them in I had hundreds of thousands of them that you can see swarm in massive shoals around the pilings of my pier. For years afterward I provided bait for all my fishing buddies, until a severe drought dried my pond up.
You need to get way more bass and cat fish in that pond.

Have you thought of introducing a big amount of crawfish to your pond yet. Those will really make them grow as well and the crayfish will burrow in the mud and make more crayfish as they do..lol! I've watched it done before..It's cool they just open the bags on the shore instead of dumping them into the water the the crawfish find their way into the water on their own.
