Loving this @HoC. Keep em coming. I might not see cinema with the same lens as you, but the passion rubs off. Ahona, you are brilliantly articulative. Could keep listening to you for hours. Guys, the tension you are creating by talking while eating isnt easy to handle. Khaana /spoon/fork kahin gir na jaye, tel na lag gaye, mood na disturb ho jaye-listening to you is interspersed with these Indian Mummy thoughts. 😂
Alien movie was to be directed by the late great satyajeet ray it was his dream but some director like Steven Spielberg got the script when someone from paramount pictures made copies of the films script and many movies were made like et like cacoon and other 0:01
Let me share my top 5 filmmakers. In a definite order, 5) Federico Fellini: The master of magical realism. 4) Krzysztof Kièslowski: Am I the only one who considers Dekalog as one of the greatest achievements of Cinema? 3) Andrei Tarkovsky: The greatest philosopher to hold a camera. 2) Béla Tarr: Definitely the filmmaker at the end of the World. Sátántangó is a cinematic masterpiece of unparalleled proportions. 1) Jean-Luc Godard: The enfant terrible of cinema. Breathless is enough to guarantee him a spot on my list but then he made Histoire(s) du Cinéma. BTW, you've earned yourselves a subscriber. Keep the good cinema flowing.
U guys missed maniratnam, gurudutt and Christopher Nolan...and i think if u want to pick a director for comedy films in india i will always choose priyadarshan over david Dhawan...btw nice video..^_^
I think you guys enjoy sounding "intellectual" and feeling like people who "get art". Cannot believe 25-somethings are talking about "trends" in indian cinema and passing commentary on filmmakers.
Mentioning David Fincher and David Dhawan in dame discussion of Top Directors - Internet definitely needed this. Thank You.
I wish I could talk about Cinema, even 1% of how Ahona does. She carries such a beautiful understanding!
Nice to see a shoutout to Mira Nair! She’s fab. Can’t wait to see her next piece.
She’s an icon. A huge inspiration.

@@HumansofCinema Well, thanks! I'm exploring some outsider art and I'd like to be a filmmaker someday.
Haha Satyajit Ray is one of my FAVES but that’s by default.
My favorite living director is Joshua Oppenheimer. Director of 'The Act of Killing" and 'The Look of Silence'.
One suggestion is list the top movies of every directors so it will be easy for the viewers to know more as many don’t know foreign directors by name.
Wow thanks for introducing us to this kind of cinema. Will definitely try
Love this series, Keep up the good work.
Thank you Vaibhav ❤
