    39:18 I disagree with that point...breaking the Fourth Wall technique was used in Hindi cinema many times...Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron's last Shot, scenes in Kal Ho Na Ho, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa etc. and most of the films starring Kader Khan...kader Khan sort of pioneered this technique in mainstream Hindi cinema.

    4th wall has been broken by Paresh Rawal in Mr and Mrs Khiladi and also by Kader Khan in a few movies. I'm sure there are other instances also.

    Who said we did not break the fourth wall in hindi cinema? Addressing audience was there in mainstream films like Qurbaani Kal ho na ho, Student of the year, Sanju and so on and my favourite is when Legend Kader Khan does it in almost of his films.

    • @mayankgiitd
      @mayankgiitd 11 месяцев назад +1

      Breaking the fourth wall can have two ways to think about it:
      1. Talking to the audience - this is usually a one time execution (more looking out the window than breaking the fourth wall)
      2. Including the audience as a character in the show - this is usually when done repeatedly and for more meaningful things to be said.
      Here the references to shows like Fleabag are to invoke the latter. Kal Ho Naa Ho, phenomenal as it may be, might do the 1st, certainly doesn't do the latter.

And yes Blind Chance is absolute masterpiece, only sad thing is he made it a little political . But that's okay.

      There are ALWAYS more than one side to the truth (truth has as many faces as humans involved ) , Haider showed ONE SIDE and KF showed ONE side. Both are equally valid and true.

      @@gayatrisrinivas6342 Karma. You get what you give. What they gave to Kashmiri hindus for ages, they are getting back. Kashmiri Hindus never started terror campls. Thats the difference. First you see the real truth.

      @@thiruvetti I am NOT denying that Kashmiri Hindus suffered. Read my comment again. You are justifying the terrorism and counter-terrorism. Both cases ARE CAUSED by politicians. And common man suffers and then reacts, irrespective of their religion. Common man have been used and still being used as puppets in ALL conflicts, in ALL conflicted countries, and in ALL major religions. That is the ONLY ultimate truth, the rest of them ( as shown in Haider and KF) are truths that are personal to the people involved.
