There is the matter of the boss battle, but that could be written off as magic or a doppelganger sent by King Dedede or something. 2. Even when evil, Meta Knight doesn't come across as the type to be so overconfident that he gives Kirby the means to defeat him. But maybe that was in his character back then -- who can say? (Kind of want a pre-Kirby game that follows Meta Knight and King Dedede finding out about and sealing Nightmare, now. Or something even before that, which explores their prior friendship.)
Just imagine, he is literally kratos in his universe but he doesn't want to hurt at all his enemies (squeak squad he made friends with the gang, he even wants to forgive marx holy fuck)

Listening to this, it makes me wonder what the heck they were thinking when they made Kirby unable to speak in the anime, or even in the games. Because frankly, even though Kirby's already cute by himself, having him speak like this would have been adorable.

The game is because he's a silent protagonist like all the other silent protagonists in Nintendo games. I think Sakurai gave a reason for why Kirby is a baby in the anime, but I forgot what it was. I also wish he didn't.
