Ooooh boy. I was looking for a bit of a challenge, and this was definitely that! It was the first of your videos that I've done, and it definitely gave me some new challenges. I'm so excited though because I was able to hold my Crane for the first time ever! Thank you! I will be back for more. :)
This is a hard practice and need to repeat to build up strength, and you make it look so easy! It's inspiring to know that in the future we can all be blaise whilst doing this practice 😂
Hi, Kino! I love your videos and your style of teaching. I'm developing my home practice. I need help with my shoulders (!!) they are SO TIGHT. For example, I have a hard time bringing my palms together at my back. I've been told I have short arms - not sure how much that has to do with it? Suggestions?
Thank you for your classes. I have a question. I just started practicing (did a little in the 90’s) and have been loving your videos. Im doing some yoga drills videos and moving through the ashtanga challenge videos. I’m learning so much! But have a hard time taking a deep breath in upward facing dog- when I get to the “top” of the back bend part the breath just shuts off. Any suggestions? I feel like this is such a key move that I want get it right. Thank you. Also love your dharma talks!
It sounds like you might have some stiffness in the upper back. Have you joined any of my backbending classes or workshops? Thanks for practicing with me 😊
@@KinoYoga the breath really stops in my throat. Maybe I’m not supposed to try to look up? I did some back bending in another of your videos yesterday- the most recent one I think- and you’re right, it was really challenging for me! I’ll look into doing more. Thank you so much for your reply!

It sounds like you’re lacking internal rotation. You can work on that flexibility
