Another benefit of this one has been that it has exposed me to a smaller size and has helped me feel a little more comfortable with this size. Thanks for WATCHing
The camera shot with the watch in frame with you in the background whilst speaking was really cool. It was a good way of putting the watch forward litteraly and giving it its own display
I love it , James! I would prefer the wine colored version, but you can't go wrong with any color. It is great to see a watch company going smaller instead of the usual trend toward bigger dials. Buying used is a great way to save on a watch that is just priced out of reach for what it is. I love the outdoor shots you used in this most excellent video. I spotted two dingos, a kohala bear and Danny Bonaduce in one of the pear trees. Thanks James!
I love king Seiko , but for the money that a new one costs i would buy a pre owned omega, tag heuer or breitling. For € 700 you could get a 90s or early 2000s tag heuer 2000, link or kirium.
So you're suggestion would be to purchase the old model. I can currently get for a hundred and thirty four bucks at walmart? I'm referring to the new version of the SRPK.
This one refers to the King Seiko. The first of the reissues. But for $134 I’d be grabbing one of those srpk models. I really wish we had Walmart in Australia
Hot take on a very nice watch and spot on about choice of movement. Seiko a bit cheeky labelling a watch 'King' then banging in a calibre used in their lower end Presage models.
In 2019 I bought a Seiko spirit for 1.200$.A couple of years ago,I tried selling for 250$.I had it advertized in 3 different sites,18 months went by and I didn't receive a single offer.End up giving it to my brother in law.
Nice watch James. But price has kept me away. I've been looking for a dress watch than can also be worn casually like the Longines Heritage Flagship and the Montblanc Star Legacy. This king Seiko seems similar.
Seiko bracelets are usually rubbish compared with IWC or even Tissot but this one is really really nice and the metal is hard. I can see it without even touching it.
Great video James, lovely watch but alas way to small for my wrist. Below 39/40 just looks like a child's watch on my wrist, real pity it is so small as it is divine
Unfortunately, you will buy this watch from someone who didn't wore it, so that you can also do the same... not ever ware it. Even if you ware a suit every day... it's way cooler to wear a chrono or a diver for that money. Also, end links on that bracelet are just terrible and they kill the overall design of this watch. You did great with your price, but that's just shows you that these are not in demand.

Thank you. I am really happy with the new shot. Added another element to the video and shows the watch off in a different way.

Hahahahaha. Don’t forget the Kangaroo.
I love it ! The size is great, larger would have been too much.
It does feel like a great size for this one

It is hard to justify. Especially at RRP. But if you can find one at the right price they are worth considering
My favorite watch. I like the new ones with lume.
I have been really impressed by it.
I didn’t realize they were remaking the vintage watches at Seiko….will keep an eye out for a deal, thanks for the review.
There are a few amazing options. But finding it at the right price is definitely worth doing.

@@WATCHingJames SRPK87 is the new one but I'm referring to the originals.
It’s a beautiful watch, it’s hard to keep up with all the different levels of Seiko’s. Thanks for the great review!
Thanks for WATCHing
It's a beautiful watch for sure, the design is so crisp. Sad that it comes down to a coin-toss whether you get a good one, or a dud though.
Thanks for WATCHing
Great watch and a beautiful bracelet, not my bag but I can still appreciate its appeal.
Thanks for WATCHing
Where did you get it off James?
I found this one being sold privately on a watch specific sales group on marketplace
@@WATCHingJames which watch specific group James. I presume Aussie based 👍
Yes and Australian one. Watch buy and sell.
Congratulations 🎊🎉🎈 James on your new King 👑 Seiko 👍🏻
Thank you. It is an amazing watch

I was about to say that 1k usd is a fair price for this and you got it for way lower than that 😁 that's an absolute steal.
I was very happy with the price I paid.
I dont mind even 34mm watches. But i also like thin watches. 10mm.
I am getting used to the idea of smaller.

Lol. Seiko bracelets are usually rubbish compared to about anything but a sub-$100 Timex
I should hope that IWC aren't comparable to Seiko too!😂
@@williamsipe1151seiko bracelets are comparable to $15 temu watches

That is a shame
wouldnt it be smarter to just wait for the new 6L 44 and 45 KS models to release, further dropping the price of these 6R ones?
Possibly.
Thanks for WATCHing
I Love Seiko 👍
They make some of the best watches
Great review as always
Thank you
Great show as always.
Thank you
Beautiful piece but a tad on the small side for me! Thank you for sharing James!

Lucky for me I got pathetic girly wrists ..😊
Beautiful, but no lume no deal

king seiko movements suck.
It is a shame they did not choose something a bit more high end
