If you're wondering why this is so long, and consists of mostly silence or quiet music, allow me to explain:
Theme Park World used a dynamic music system in which the music would progressively add instruments and build up in structure as your park progressed. The number of visitors, amount of money, and your visitors' happiness levels (among other factors) would determine which "level" of music gets played. Instead of just using the main levels (like other videos do), I decided to chain them all together, meaning that as time progresses, the music builds up too - just like it does in the game :)

Theme Park World, also known as Theme Park 2, and in North America as Sim Theme Park, is a 1999 construction and management simulation game developed by Bullfrog Productions and released by Electronic Arts. The direct sequel to Theme Park (Theme Hospital and Theme Aquarium are thematic sequels), the player constructs and manages an amusement park with the aim of making profit and keeping visitors happy. Initially developed for Windows, it was ported to PlayStation and PlayStation 2 (whose version was titled Theme Park Roller Coaster in North America), as well for Macintosh computers. The Mac version was published by Feral Interactive.

OH MY GOODNESS, I'VE FOUND IT
It's only taken 20 years, but I've _finally_ found that little ditty which has been in my head since I first played this game at my friend's house as a kid. Wow.

I couldn't find PSX version of the track, yet it was hidden in this in the middle
If Bullfrog's Audio Team doesn't already know, they are responsible for some seriously heinous levels of impact on music theory in society. They get you on a 4 bars and its over. "Dr. Frog" is the one that could never get out of my head. GET OUT OF MY, FROGLES

I remember "HEY! Did you see what that guy just did?" every time my park gets to a certain level of visitors. I think the game had a thing where if your park was big enough it would be impossible to catch misbehaving kids.

Ah yes, time to be nostalgic and remember sitting in my living room 8-10 years ago playing this and Tonka Raceway.
I could cry of nostalgia :') One of the first computer games my sister and I would play on those chunky Windows 98 computers. Brings me back to when life was happy, sunny, and carefree. Tysm!

On my ps2 version, after i had played for a good while on my Lost Kingdom saves, the music would suddenly change which gave a party or celebration feel to it. But moments later after the piece of music had finished, my game would crash and i have no idea why. It happened on many occasions so every time i would hear this piece of music play i'd be like "Stop what we doing, and the save thing! Before we crash 😆".
The music isn't in the video, but i found out it can be heard in the settings when testing the music volume...

i think the beat is built off a royalty free song, a lot of games do that, theres a few Rayman and Oddworld songs i hear in other media from around the same time.

Nostalgia

also I only played the PS1 ver. of the game, I never heard the songs in that.

@@Casketkrusher_ it maybe depends on where, as i also don't remember that version of the music in the European version of the game (i don't recall the main part wasn't that far into the music)
@@PTMsubaru41 I am from Europe so I played the PAL version a lot as a kid and I still remember this music being in there. I know what I heard that's why I return to the soundtrack so often. I know its dynamic, the more people you have in your park the more intense the soundtrack gets, pretty much ahead of its time with that idea.
And I haven't played any other version so it must be in the PS1 version.

it likely comes from an audio archive that many games/shows of the time (and perhaps now as well) all pull from.
I believe it's a Stylus RMX loop from one of the RMX collections from Spectrasonics.
Huh. Not seen a video like this before. (God I miss this game. Even though I probably wouldn't enjoy it now.)
