Worm math Is a lot like chicken math. I bought a starter kit of mealworms about 4 years ago and now I have Thousands of them. My hubby thinks I'm nuts but I actually enjoy working with them.

Hi---just watched the video out of curiosity. Was wanting them to mention a little more about acquiring the worms and raising them.
Could you possibly fill in that gap a bit?
Where did you get your worms and is it time intensive caring for them?
Do you keep them in your home or is an out building sufficient? Are temps a problem?
Thanks...if you have time. Jesus bless.

I never forgot that and is probably why I have about 30 chickens now 🤣! Thanks Ms. Smith!

Seeing the various critters at Egg Song Farm make me realize that one has to be quite expert with animals because each animal has its own specific needs and wants in order to grow and thrive. Personally I wouldn't want to be a teacher in a school either it's so limiting compared to the opportunity you would have on a farm like this and YOU GET THE BEST of the best with it being a field trip for the kids when they get do come to the farm. Plus you get to work with animals and kids. EVEN BETTER! I wish kids learned so differently then they do today. I mean seriously I can teach you Math on this farm in any form better then in a boring classroom on a wall with a board. The word (Board) says it all when it comes to schools. Sand mud and stones are just as effective or MORE then a boring chalk or dry erase board. We really need to rethink our board room blues class rooms in schools. Especially cuz KIDS ARE HANDS ON. You can BET this mama is going to use her chickens that we just bought this year in our home schooling. Aaaaaaamen. Thank you for the great ideas you have given me, now time to pass them on to my friends that home school there kids. :)
