Sounds like it’s running allot better now. It’s all a bit alien to me, not enough cylinders for my wheel house 🤯

The rear pot F1 on tune ECU fuels more than f2 the front pot so I got it right less vacuum=more air , so my rear pot has more fuel and air to turn the engine 420 degrees ,the front pot f2 on tune ECU turns the engine or crank 300 degrees .

It's online and free I did try catfish which was great apart from a stumble on warm up I could have adjusted it but tried the swordfish which is meant to be a bit more punchy but I can tell you two up with luggage going to the picos mountains in Spain we got 54 mpg at a constant 75 mph on the motorway M25 so very happy

Thank you Captbarbs Garage for all your great videos!
Also, I figured I would ask here if anyone can give me some advice. I'll try to keep this as brief as I can, while providing the important details.
I recently acquired a 2007 CapoNord ETV1000. The bike will start sometimes and sound smooth as it's running, but it will shut off soon after. When I connect the single diagnostic wire, I get codes, 15, 16, 17, 19, 41, 43, and 44. Some of these codes are for the Throttle Location Sensor, Fall Sensor, and Fuel Injector #2. I'm not exactly sure what the other codes are, but this has me thinking that it is a problem with the ECU. I don't really know anything at all about ECUs and I've been trying to get help everywhere and anywhere I can, to no avail. There is only one Aprilia dealer/service center near me, and they told me they can't help me, because they don't have connectivity support for this model year. I have also tried the Aprilia Forum, but the site won't keep me logged in, and I can't find any threads that help me understand the problem. I have also completely read the owners manual, service manual and two other books related to general motorcycle electrical systems. Please help! Can anyone at least guide me to an easy to understand, comprehensive resource for how the ECU works and how to fix or clear these codes? Thank you for any insight.

      Have you tune ECU?
If so you can see the tps and see if Injectors are being fed a voltage whilst running and see fault codes etc .

@@captbarb6642 I don't have tune ECU, I'm guessing that's where I should start? My concern is that I don't know what I'm doing, so I don't want to make things worse.

Online there is a manual for safe operation of tune ECU if I can use it you will be able to.
If you say it starts ok then plays up does that mean it's temperature related .
A good place to start without tune ECU would be to check the plugs are firing the coils do go bad with temperature and time , then looking for air leaks on all the intakes whilst running ,check and clean the air control valve in the air box.

@@captbarb6642 Thank you, I'll have some time tomorrow to look things over. The reason I think it was a problem with the ECU and not temperature or combustion issues, is because of all the different codes, the temperature gauge reads about 150⁰ when running and it doesn't sputter while it's running or when it dies. The engine just cuts off, similar to the sound when you normally turn your bike off. I will also have to get a cable to connect my bike to Tune ECU, so I'll have to get back to you on this. Thank you for your response and guidance!

There has been issues with the ECU connections worth a check ,maybe worth checking the actual power to grounds on like the ECU etc

Brill, really looking forward to tinkering with ECUTune, especially after the valves adjustment. I have bought the windows 10 kit ready to go but won’t touch it till I get this dash sorted (one way or the other).
I’m replacing the caps again for an aluminium electrolytic type; the dash goes out after a minute or so. Ive read the standard ones are not stable enough for this design of regulator ic, so fingers crossed & I’ll replace the regulator if needed after that.
Really don’t want to have to buy a replacement..
Anyway your bike sounds like a swiss watch, really nice to see what can be done ✅

Good luck just don't fall off it 😉.
A friend had a BMW gs1200 we swapped bikes and I was revving that GS out and couldn't get near the capo with that swordfish map .
