Excellent coverage! So many awesome builds. I have to go to this show next year. Thanks for posting this great video. I am looking forward to your 20-30 builds for next year 🤣🤣👌
Been waiting for a video of all the entries, and finally one comes up. Going to have to dig in for this one, from 3000 miles away I've been dying to see the whole show in one video for 48 hours now. Thanks for spending the time, I know how much effort it takes to capture it all.
Sorry I missed you at the show this year I was busy saving my VFW. I am finally getting around to watching your video. You always have awesome coverage of the show, thanks for doing what you do & sharing the amazing builds.
Wow that was grand. You showed all 12 of the models I brought. You showed me quite a few I did not see, and I took 140 still pics. Plus you recorded a minute of audio at 1:11' where I have a discussion with Jim Ferris...Bravo....
Wow Tim great footage of the show. It only took me three evenings to watch your video. Many talented builders. The look of these builds is so realistic. Again thanks for taking your own time to do this video for our community. Hopefully you had some time to enjoy the show and find some good deals at the swap meet end.
So glad you enjoyed! Yes, I was there from 6am - 5:30 pm and had a blast hanging out with everyone!!!!!! The 2 items I wanted to buy were already sold when I went back to buy them. But hey, it was a GREAT day!!!!!!!
There is a show in Cincinnatti this weekend and Wondefest is coming up in a month (man, where does the time go). Sure would like to see you again Craig.
That was one huge show! One of my favorite build was the two tone brown 71 Cougar @ 1:00:21.. Some serious builds with nice paint and engines.. Thanks for the Ride along Tim!
Another awesome modelling show Tim, watching 👀 in parts at work 😮, I'll back to watch the rest, saved to my Model shows Worldwide 🌐 on my RUclips channel 🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺🇳🇿🦘🦘🤝🇺🇲👍😎
Wayne "TNT" Saunders! I met him years ago out here in Los Angeles in the early 1990's (?). Glad to see he's still building. He was a good builder then and nothing has changed. Nice Corvette "TNT"!
We used to have model shows back in the sixties in San Francisco on Mission st. Put on by the department stores, Woolworths, Newberry’s, USE department store, movie theaters, New Mission, Crown, Grand theater ect. We entered our models and were awarded prizes. We mainly used AMT kits for there variations, Eartle, revel, Monogram. I never won, some of my friends did… Giants tickets, gift certificates, movie tickets and the boasting rights among our peers. Fun
Ohhhh, the huge trucks and tractor-trailer rigs beginning round 1:30:00 are absolutely spectacular! Did Kenworth, Peterbilt, Mack, etc., open new assembly lines just for these scale models?

Aaaaaa yes, I understand the moving thing. Went thru that a few years back and it took me a while to get back into too. Hopefully everything works out to where you can start back up soon.
( 1:43:55 ) You hardly ever see early El Caminos and I must've built 5 of those "Bad News" panel wagons and back a bit the yellow 55' Chevy Gassers ! ( 1:43:16 ) Hot Rod Magazines "Project X" yellow 57' Chevy - in the back row ( Hollywood Knights movie 1980 ) Its a must watch movie for every car guy/girl... especially this time of year "Halloween" 🎃 Takes place Halloween night 1965 with dozens of cars out of the pages of Hot Rod Magazine staring Tony Danza and Michelle Pfeiffer - 20 years old with mini skirt and knee high boots😍
also still lookin' for a "Bad Medicine"...never see them either , knew I shoulda got one 15 yrs ago...anyway , Summer is just about upon us , hope yer well there
I have a dumb question because I use to be a model car nut when I was a kid back in the early 1970s I built several of them, Are these the same plastic model kits like I bought back then and are kinda like the kits they are selling today at Hobby Lobby or are they cast models.
Hope this motivates you to get back into building models. It's mostly guys our age now that are building. Plus with all the rereleased kits we can build some kits that we did when we were kids. I actully did a series on that last year. Now is a GREAT time to be a modeler with ALL the kits out there to choose from. If you have any questions Robert feel free to ask and I'll do my best at trying to answer them.
Maybe next year for me...or in a few years. I'm putting 1 or 2 in the Cininnati show 5/4...we'll see. I've been out of the hobby for a while...need to polish some skills....
You will really enjoy NNL East when you go! It's a great time to get back into the hobby with all the old kits being rereleased and all the 3D Printing out there now.... 🤜🤛
