It's so interesting to hear about your time Arts Ed, especially for someone like myself who hasn't trained and went straight into work! Keep up the great vids x
This video is so useful! I start auditioning in November and I'm just trying to find more information about Arts Ed, as its somewhere I'd love to go. I'm currently doing a level 3 diploma at READ college and would love to pick your brain about Arts Ed as I'm trying to write a pro's and con's list. Your help would be much appreciated! Thanks, Tori xx
Just discovered your channel, and I cannot believe I had not found it before today! Going into my second year at Urdang is definitely stressing me out, and watching your videos and hearing you talk about your experience is comforting and encouraging xx
I think the most important thing is to remember what makes you unique and hold onto it. Believe in yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. In the audition show that you are open to learning and can take direction. I hope that is helpful :) xx
When I first started watching your videos, I thought that you have been lucky getting into drama school and getting your jobs but now I realise, it's not luck, it's hard work and dedication! You are obviously talented but your work ethic is also obvious. Hope you get back to work soon. X
Amazing! I saw Our House and Curtains with my mate Dan who you probably trained with, think he must have been the year below you maybe?! Both great shows! Such a small world! x
This was super interesting, thanks for sharing, can you talk a bit more about acting through song and song interpretation, i think that would be interesting
Thank you! I have loads actually! Maybe I'll make a whole video on this subject? One of the best bits of advice I was told though is never take it personally as it very rarely is! xx
Georgie Ashford I would love to see a video about it! I feel as though it’s something not a lot of people talk about or like to admit to (being rejected) but it’s such a big part of the industry xx
You are one of my favourite RUclipsrs ever!! This video answered so many questions I had about Drama School it's cleared up so much. And I love how you lay out the truth as well like that they are brutal but also how much you loved it :) Love this video x
Hi! I’d recommended studying Drama or Theatre Studies at A Level! Also see if you can get involved in any local am dram or things like NYT which are great experiences x
Thanks so much for making videos! Do you think to get in the west end, you need to have professional experience such as previous shows or even going to a drama school .
It´s a dumb question but where did you train the dance routines during the week by yourself? Did u train it in ur bedroom? And do you think picking up coreo fast gets better or can be improved? I take a week to get one coreo straight and i struggled on auditions to get it in 30 min, even though i got into my dream school! xx
We used to go into school early and use the studios! You can most definitely improve it just takes practise and patience! The most important thing is not to panic as that will make it worse! Xx
Do drama schools really care about what you take at a-level? I’m currently in Y11 and I don’t know what to do at a levels. Because I want to study Performing Arts at college but people are telling me Drama Schools prefer 3 a levels
How much musical theatre experience did you have before going to drama school? I love these infprmative videos you've made about this industries ❤

I saw that show of Singing in the Rain, it was great!
Do have any specific tips for applying/auditioning for ArtsEd? Loving your videos! Xx

I love your vids! Just wondering if you have any advice on dealing with rejection? Xx
Thank you! I have loads actually! Maybe I'll make a whole video on this subject? One of the best bits of advice I was told though is never take it personally as it very rarely is! xx

are you still good mates with your artsed classmates?
Great video! Did you have to do a dissertation on your course, what was it on?x
I believe our shows counted as our dissertation.. but don’t quote me :S we also had to do lots of written work and notes xx

Hey I’m doing my GCSEs this month x what do you recommend doing at this stage in life to go on to do drama ?
Hi! I’d recommended studying Drama or Theatre Studies at A Level! Also see if you can get involved in any local am dram or things like NYT which are great experiences x
would anyone recommend PQA? I'm just about join them but i am on the waiting list so i have a bit of time if i want to think about other schools.
Hi, I actually have no experience with this school, maybe do a bit of research and definitely look into other options just in case? x
Hi Georgie! Just a quick question - how many people were in your year and were the auditions quite competitive? Thank you!
Hi Georgie! There were about 45 people in my Year I believe and lots of people auditioned! So I’d say it was very competitive yes! Xx
Thanks so much for making videos! Do you think to get in the west end, you need to have professional experience such as previous shows or even going to a drama school .
Thank you for watching them! It does help to have both of those things- however it is not a necessity! Everyone has to start somewhere!

was this for 6th form or uni?
Such at great video as usual! Might be a silly question but is this related to college or secondary school?❤️❤️
Aw thank you! It's related to my time on a 3yr Degree Course in Musical Theatre at a College called ArtsEd in London :) x
Georgie Ashford did you go to a full time drama school before 18?x
This is so helpful thank you! 💖

In my opinion I don't think that they mind but it's totally up to you what you would prefer to do :)
Very interesting Georgie! 😊
Thank you Julie :) xx
nice
