.... my detector is so old tech it is just a hickory stick ... so it's in my mind where I'm hearing the beep beep beep zip zip zip
I once saw an old Fisher on a wooden stick...looked horrible to swing. I can't imagine the sound the 3inch speaker on it made lol.

Hey THGT, nice hunt… If the speaker too loud, add some black electrical tape over some of the speaker holes. Done! Always nice to pull silver out of the soil! Keep Digging, J!

How's it going hunter. I took my Simplex out yesterday to a park I had never been to before and there was a area with sand and a volleyball net within about 20 minutes I had found almost $4 in clad and a real nice dark blue men's Titanium wedding band. I was pretty excited. Hunted about another 20-30 minutes and then got the heck out of there cuz it was almost 98°. Going to have to try to start getting out a little earlier. Have a good evening and a happy 4th of July tomorrow hunter.

It is "the" definition of public property in my opinion. I just go on Sundays when all the cops and lawyers are off. Never had an issue in 10 hunts there.
