- We welcome a very special guest from the other side of the Atlantic - Internet sensation and RUclips must watch @kirbyallison who paid a state visit to the ancestral hovel. In his honour Eddie and Edward Sahakian of Davidoff prepared a box of 2007 #romeoyjulieta #escudos A marvellous #vitola very close if not identical to the #sancristobal #lafuerza . A Limited Edition from #2007 the cigar dates from the first year in which all the tobacco in the cigar, and not just the wrapper was aged for two years. At the time I remember the cigar clearly - It was terrible. It just goes to show that never ever write off a box of Cuban cigars as they are now delicious and, sadly, unavailable. (But then so is most of the stuff we talk about)
Kirby was in town seeking instruction in the art of wearing colourful tweed. Someone had the temerity to suggest that he dressed like a funeral director With his Homburg hat, his 22 ounce double-breasted overcoat with martingale and his highly polished oxfords I think the look he was channelling was US senator visiting the league of Nations circa 1933

@@ak203 as one would have expected, the Foulkes residence was beautifully decorated with objects one only accumulates during a life distinguished by travel, culture, and art. I had a tremendous time and they were exceptionally hospitable.

There is a tool for that, it looks like an elongated thin screwdriver that you "screw" into the cigar (just a bit) and thereby remove the bottleneck which causes the tight draw. It is highly recommended for any cigar smoker, because it can happen sometimes, and to have something to fix it is just perfect in that situation. @@bernie3075
He also was the only one of the 3 who didn't put his cigar to his mouth while lighting... his cigar was under lit from the beginning.. and yes of course, the perfect draw tool is the only tool for the job!

Your Hollywood-trained cinematographer has really gone off the edge with those daring shots of your shoes and those angled images of the classic Hollywood sound stage set. These new production values are impressive! (but not the actors need to be sure to have their shoes shined)

You should have seen Kirby when he visited the “whiskey tribe” channel to talk about cigars. Didn’t know what he was talking about and had a pretentious air about him. But now he’s here with the men he’s trying to emulate and is just as out of place as he is with down to earth guys.

He is a robot trying to understand how people interact, but his only inputs have been from eccentric and anachronistic English gentlemen. His mimicry, while well developed, isn't good enough to conceal the fact that he is not human.
i love the thought of Kirby packing his suitcase before leaving Dallas, putting lots of thought into making sure he looks up to scratch when he gets to these gentlemen establishments in London
Three different levels of elegance in terms of suits, ties and pocket squares, but I wish if the rings and bracelets were less apparent in the British gentlemen outfits, I see Sprettzatura view with British accent .. how interesting!

Hey Max- thought I’d update you here. I did get a box of San Cristobal El Principe at your recommendation.
I have to thank you, it surpassed my expectations. I did review it on my channel with a link to yours but for the sake of brevity;
It was incredibly smooth with a really unique pronounced toasted marshmallow note as well as some cocoa. The cigar was perfectly constructed and I mean perfect with a pleasant medium finish. Also, some floral or citrus on retrohale. All in all was very complex, unique and was a much welcomed surprise. It smoked over an hour easily & I can’t thank enough for the suggestion! Delighted! Thanks again.
