    The only comment I have is that PRI means prime. It is only to prime the carbs after rebuilding them. On is for normal use. The vacuum line you spoke about is connected to your petcock valve on the gas tank to tell the bike it is running and it needs fuel sent to the carbs. I would not recommend leaving the fuel valve in the PRI position or you could flood your crankcase with fuel if the needle and seat fail in the carb. Mine did. I had to drain 7 qts of gas and oil out of my crankcase.

      Very true it has happened to me twice on other bikes.

    What about the fuel sending unit? The one that you plugged the 3 prong electrical (green) plug into? Does that not have a hose that attaches to that prong?

      Nevermind, saw the other comment about this. this is really confusing.

    Is that a cali tank? I had a tank similar that had that little tank on the side of it for the drainage hose that has two metal lines, but then I bought a new tank that I believe is a 49 states tank and it only has one. What do I do with that? Just have the hose run to the ground? Or am I supposed to have some kind of attachment on there.

      I think they where there to vent the tank. But one went to the ground and the other one went to the carb vacuum line. Plugging then is also ok.

    Can someone answer this for me? What’s the black tube in the center of the carb just in front of the vacuum line? What does it connect to?

    • @QuietMindful
      @QuietMindful 4 месяца назад +1

      It dosent Connect to anything, it’s meant to be routed in between the air box and left open on that end

    Hello, I have a ZZR 250 from 2002 that is in my garage full of problems and broken / missing pieces. I mainly bought it like that and only realized after a couple months of riding it. I saved your video, do you have any recommended manual / guide / website that I could look up? Someday I want to fully restore it. Cheers :)

      restoring my old n250 was the plan for this channel but life has been in the way for a while and I may change the channel after a few more vids. But for tips try this form and also Reddit, here's the forum link forums.ninja250.org

    Also that fuel level sender, is there any hoses that goes to it? Or do you just plug the green connector into the white one

    • @n.a.n.6930
      @n.a.n.6930  4 года назад +1

      Just plug in the green connection and ignore the hose port it confused me at one time to. Thanks for watching.

      @@n.a.n.6930 that's the issue I'm having right now as well, along with the fuel petcock being in the on position instead of the primary.
