I think you're on the right track here. Hank's high fist and soak allow him to focus his XP on other things - Nothing left to lose and At a Crossroads are good examples of that

This deck seems neat, and it’s cool to see an interesting and creative list to play with Hank. Especially since while Hank is obviously strong, the trade off is that he isn’t super interesting or exciting, so it’ll be fun to see how this plays.

Usual Hank decks seem rather boring, however this one is appealing!
I wonder how 'Lesson Learned' would help in a 2 player game to help Kate even more.
