I could only imagine that song on expert mode... but then again the expert settings on guitar hero would be childplay next to the real guitar. Honestly, the swapping bars for rap is a decent analogy for the guitar battle in this song
If you ask some sort of music snob, they'll give you a long and boring definition about the differences between all the different types of metal including power metal. All you really need to know, is that power metal should make you feel like you can go slay a fucking dragon. Upbeat, intense, and inspiring.

In the studio version, that solo was a lot longer than you heard. They cut out like a minute of the solo so the music video wouldn't run too long. The song is actually 7+ minutes long.

Subtitles are necessary for even the best metal songs in the non growl/scream catagories. TOOL is a legend for this necessity
Dio was always pretty clear with his lyrics, very rarely did he have a lyric you couldn't understand and in most of those cases it was intentional.

DragonForce are absolutely fantastic! I saw them live back in 2019! If you want to listen to more I highly suggest Fury of the storm live, if you think this was crazy wait till you see Fury of the storm and a live version your mind will explode

To be fair power metal is not my go to choice for metal music (Folk metal is my poison [bands like Arka'n Asrafokor, Bloodywood, Al namrood, ...]) but I do gotta give credit where credit is due. Dragonforce is awesome... also a good introduction to metal
