Where is the metadata stored?
Do you know if you can use keyboard shortcuts to manage metadata? I have been trying to figure out if there is an option for this in the keyboard customization manager but haven't had any luck. I want to be able to swap between reviewing clips and entering data as directly as possible without having to use the mouse.
Is it realistic to maintain a library of metadata within DaVINCI for a really long time, maybe for 50 or so projects? Like would you sit down for hours to enter metadata across your library, or is the expected lifetime of DaVINCI metadata limited? Or maybe you'd prefer to catalog in a specialty metadata tool like Adobe Bridge or Kyno? What is the "best practice"?
Well, it seems as though DaVINCI metadata is stored by Project. So starting a new project with the same images results in the previously defined image metadata being lost. So in this discussion they're suggesting to re-use the old project as a new project. Not sure what all that means... Here's the discussion:
