Sometimes when Pollock get you down in the snags, just take all the pressure off, pay out a little line and wait. Often within a couple of minutes they'll swim out, and as soon as you feel the line tighten, hit back into the fish. Not 100% foolproof, but I've managed to keep hold of a few fish over the years using this method.
Fished Anglesey last weekend (trip got cancelled three times this year so we had to go) and my god, the wind was a Nightmare! Can’t wait to get back for the day to scratch the itch on the big wrasse! Love these vids on the rocks, right down our street!
Gonna try fishing for anything I can catch out the sea this week ... Devon for a week and managed to take my light lure stuff 😇 hope fresh water lures ect work OK lol
Not sure exactly myself but if I were to guess I would say near South stack! Definitely my most productive mark for pollack, just be careful of the rocks climbing down as it can be very dangerous at certain points.
As a swede stuck with the Baltic sea I'm jelly of even the skinniest pollock! Not as skinny as your pants perhaps, but almost ;)
Great vid - sea is a lot calmer than my rock session in the Outer Hebrides last week! Had fun flying my drop net like a kite 😀
I love these sea fishing videos!

As we live on an Island work out where the wind is blowing in to land ,then go to opposite side of island so the wind is behind you👍

Great video
It's best to float fish for wrasse round Anglesey. Pollack will dominate the lures. Ragworm or live prawn on float will catch you wrasse all day long.
Hope they come close in at the spots I fish . Gonna try estuary too
Where abouts are you in this vid, I love the green side Benllech, Moelfre etc, going in a few weeks, nice vid mate.
Spot on buddy! Question, have you have used baitcaster off the rocks? So your usual pike gear
Hi! I just got my first baitacsting reel. I got a 0.20 mm line for it. Almost every cast i throw, the line snaps. Do you know why?? Help please.
Nice yo
Would recommend senko for wrasse
What rod/reel did you use in this vid mate?

Looks nice. Whereabouts is this if you dont mind me asking?
Looks like Rhoscolyn to me as I used to live and fish Holyhead way.
Where about is this
Nice video mate. Where was this spot? I'm going Anglesey myself next week and would love to throw a line out at some point.
Can I ask where this mark is please ?

shit hot !!
This is more to my environment, apart from boating, rock & beach fishing which unfortunately has gradually faded from my desires. 🐟🎣🛶🇦🇺
if the fish is bleeding from the gills there is a 99% chance its gonna die anyway
And I'd buy new scales, 36 yrs of fishing, lat alone being from Anglesey, and there's NO WAY that pollack was 12 lb, it was about 6-7lb.
Eat them. I dunno why you don't
Anglesey is in land tho 🤔
For the wrasse get some rooneys neds from rooneys fishing supplies on a texas rig
