It's not pronounced "jay Janeiro", that's the biggest lie in this video. Either "de Janeiro", like in 'day' but without the y, or "jee Janeiro", but never 'jay'.

So I'm going to recommend a Brazilian book: Capitães da Areia (Captains of the Sands) by Jorge Amado. IMO, this is easily one of the best books ever written by a Brazilian author.

Just a quick additional info: there is ANOTHER triple frontier in Brazil, not only the one in Mount Roraima. The other one is far to the south, in the Iguaçu Falls (the "ç" letter is pronounced like an S in the word "sack"). At that spot, the triple frontier is between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.
