Chris, I’m saddened that our trip with you through this beautiful land is drawing to an end but I’m so grateful to you for sharing this adventure with us. All of your videos are enjoyable yet this series has truly been spectacular. Your a great host and an admirable ambassador bringing us all closer together. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🤙
Thank you for watching! I really appreciate the kind words and glad you've enjoyed the videos. It was an amazing experience to make them and I certainly wanted to show the beauty of the country to a world that mostly doesn't know. I hope you'll join me for future travels which will keep coming and have been happening since my time in Iran!
Oh god, I am so happy to see that mr Rassad who is caretaker of Esther’s tomb is still alive. The only time I met him was 23 years ago (Sep 2000) and now seeing him still healthy and alive made my day. Now it’s around 13 years which I left Iran and there is no availability to visit my homeland so thank you Chris for this video which took me back to the old days. God bless
Thank you very much Chris for your nice video. I am from Hamedan but since 2007 I live in the UK. I missed my city. Watching your video makes me happy. Best wishes for you dear Chris.
Hey there, I am Iranian and I'm so impressed by your vlogs. They are very well done, and quite relaxing. I also commend you for being reasonable and not venturing out at night during protests. As you can tell, Iranians are good people but anti-state protests are happening you don't want to be in the mix. Best wishes.
Great videos Chris. Just a word of advice Iranian stews are meant to be eaten with the rice together not separate. Pour the stew onto the rice and eat together. Really great Iran series mate enjoying the videos
Thank you, glad you’re enjoying them! I know it’s wrong but I couldn’t bring myself to dilute the lovely flavour of the stew with the rice, I did have a load of it off camera though
Hi Chris, hope you had a great trip to Hamedan, and thanks for sharing your trip and introducing my city to the world. I just would like to mention that any time of the day/night is safe to go out in Hamedan, not only during special hours. So, hopefully on your next trip, try to explore other tourist attractions such as Ganjnameh waterfall, Abas Abad Hill, and other natural places as well.❤
In normal times I’m sure it would be perfectly safe at any time, but the protests happening at the time were what I had to avoid. Not safe for a tourist getting caught near a protest. Still, an amazing trip and I really liked Hamedan.
i hope you had great time about avecina is the second most important physician ever lived and the first one who made modern medicine all medicine today that have been developed is from this persian physician.hope you enjoy iran more and more in better political situation that they have today .
I really couldn't pick just one city or place, I had so many amazing experiences there. Shiraz and Isfahan were incredible of course, Hamedan here was a great surprise and I'd love to explore Tehran a lot more - there's a lot to offer but a lot of traffic to get through!
No it is not Kurdish as Khoramabad wasn't either, but those provinces have some Kurdish cities and some "Lak"s which is a type of Kurdish, the Khoramabad itself is a Lur city (Lurestan province) and Hamedan city is almost a Turkish city (Nowadays every big city is diverse) Noone eats Ghorme sabzi by itself, always with some carbs to balance (rice or bread)
Updated on the description as I don't want mistakes there. I did actually have rice with Ghorme sabzi, I just didn't show the rice part on the video in the end, maybe looks a bit strange to those who know the dish!
First of all you have to stop talking about races you don’t know , lak is aryan type of lur and some called Faylee , Kurds are only sorani badinani , about Hamadan being a Turkish city is the biggest joke ever I seen my life , you sound Azeri stranger non Iranian but a Mongolian brought you from mid of Asia and sally settled on Persia lands as immigrants , even turkey is not for Turks but for Iran and Greece , now Hamadan is Turkish lmao hahahaha Turks immigrants go anywhere then call it their city lol , tomorrow will say Europe and USA is for Turks , you Turks and Arabs are most dangerous non tru races that we should close your mouthed forever , Hamadan is a lur lak only and nothing else , you can go framing as you like and soon we have to boot out those little Azeri who came to our lands other , go back sleep Milad paki
@@ChrisKermis mr Chris , from bc time and today hamdan is lur lands and azeri creepers came to Hamadan as immigrants and they little in the city and we have to boot them out because they robbers

Iran is stunning. It's one of the most marvelous countries you can ever visit
It was an incredible place to travel!
9:51 - It's great seeing people discover Ghorma Sabzi.
I was really wanting to try this and was glad to find it in Hamedan just before the end of my trip!

I enjoyed this video,I wish you keep showing more of each place you visit.Thanks.
Thank you! My series in Iran is nearly complete but there’ll be plenty more travels coming
The bazaar looks beautiful
Absolutely, Hamedan was really a surprise
Reminds me of some of the ones in Morocco but without souvenirs
That’s the wonderful thing about going to bazaars in places like Iran and Iraq. It’s real without souvenirs and rip offs
Welcome to iran ❤
Good stuff
Thank you!
Did you go to Ganj Nameh where your will find messages from Achaemenid kings carved on the stone in the mountain
No I didn’t make it there, never enough time to see everything
Excellent as always
Thank you, I appreciate it!
❤ Hamedan ❤
A great city!
Hi, why didn't you go to Abbas Abad mountain in Hamedan?
Time, there’s never enough of it!

Did you go to Laljin on your trip? It is known as the capital of pottery
Unfortunately not, I just stayed in Hamedan for my time in the area
So which was your favorite city in Iran?

I had little time passing through there and should indeed have had more time to explore the scenic places around
Still not Kurdish Iran. Nice work though :)
Thanks, updated that in the description as I don't want mistakes there
