As a fan I understand the interest in knowing what really happened. On the other hand, the man gave enough to his fans and he (and his family) had a right to privacy.
Yes ! There’s been too much invasion of his privacy already. I’m a fan too but I think the man is out of respect, every detail of his last moments doesn’t need to be known. It pissed me off cause Priscilla told about their bedroom habits and situations. Linda didn’t do that. She was more respectful. Priscilla even said she shouldn’t have put all that private stuff out. She was mad when she wrote the book. I would have had more respect for her if she had not said so much private stuff. She said after she wrote the book she read it later and she said I shouldn’t have put all that stuff in the book. I made it sound like we were never happy. She regretted all the stuff she had written. She said they were very happy for allot longer than they were unhappy.
@@smartscratcheastmidlands6589 THAT ISNT Elvis fault. He couldn’t hardly get any privacy himself. I am glad that Priscilla did what she did to save Graceland. I do wish she hadn’t sold his name. But I’m sure she felt she had to do it to help to save Graceland.
There is a thing called dignity. We owe him that. He did a lot of good things, but he was human. It's not an image they were saving. It was a human being that had a breaking point and he overdid his weakness. May he RIP. I will always miss him.
Well you don't take away a person's dignity by finding out how he died! How do you know he "overdid his weakness?" Which weakness? We'll never know because they destroyed all the evidence. Yeah, he did a lot of good things and he was human, so what's that got to do with how he died? Nothing. It's astonishing to me how most people here assume that he was doing something to be ashamed of! He died, it was tragic, and it should have been investigated properly. They owed him that, instead of all the stupid speculation.
@@katgirlblue I am tired of people maligning a decent human being. How did he die, we will never really know. If he faked his death and got to have some peace on earth we will never know. People used him to get ahead. They always emphasize his death, let them emphasize his life. As far as I am concerned I am missing a person who was 5 years younger than my dad. These two men were men and rose from complete poverty. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss them. Basically their kindness killed them. I sat on the floor when I heard about Elvis death and cried and cried. At least he could have had even one person who really loved him be there to at least offer some comfort. His death a mystery.!!!! His not being with us remains a poignant pain. Yes everyone dies but not like this!!!
@Koletti Pireaus Once your dead that’s it! All the theories and the what’s and whys won’t bring him back.Besides he was too sick a man to ever Survive.

Just a thought about 60-year old women going to see Elvis. They did. Even now, I'm a 64 year old woman and still love Elvis and he will always only ever be as old as 42.
I don't care what Elvis did or didn't do I will always love Elvis. He was the best singer and performer I ever saw. He was a good hearted person. He will forever be in my heart. I pray I meet him in Heaven one day .
I'm glad that the people closest to him did that in honor of his dignity rather than investigators tearing him up in the tabloids. Love people that are 100% loyal. RIP ELVIS. No one will ever come close to your voice, your class and your kindness.
I was 25 when Elvis passed on. The truth eventually came out. At the time of his death, I did not want him going out Hendrix or Joplin. Elvis' good far outweighed his bad. He needed help towards the end of his life. This is just my opinion of course.
Me either but I heard it was Vernon who instruct them to clean it up. Of course Aunt Delta lived there so she could have been one of the ones who cleaned it up. In any case I’m glad they did clean it up. But that’s one of the things the maids did as soon as Elvis left to go anyplace. They never knew when he’d be back. So they did clean as soon as he went out the door. Especially that day. I don’t care if the investigation couldnt find much. They knew Elvis died from his heart stopping. It could have stopped for any reason drugs or not. He had already had two heart attacks is what they said in the autopsy.
Larry talks about a day he was with Elvis in the hotel someplace and he told Larry he thought he was dying. Larry said Elvis heart was running fast he could feel it beating really fast.
@@gracieg7601 yes, but that was a result of taking too many drugs that time. That's why his heart was beating too fast. It wasn't just a random event, that all of a sudden he had a heart episode.
I do PR for a living and I don't for 1 second believe Elvis's life was a PR campaign. He was a genuinely decent human being who did more in this world then I think most of us combined. Yes, he had his flaws, but who of us are perfect. Sadly he believed that all prescribed medication was okay to take. But I still question what medical conditions he was dealing with and if perhaps it wouldn't be as bigger problem if the Colonel didn't work him like a dog, to pay off his gambling debts.
You know the Elvis fan in me wants to know the whole story. However, I understand why everyone around Elvis wanted to protect him. He had a squeaky clean image, and they didn’t want anything to tarnish his legacy. Truth is I loved him faults and all. I just wish he could have gotten help, and realized for himself that he is human and that asking for help doesn’t make him any less special. It probably would have inspired others to ask for help In areas of their own weakness.
Margaret Taylor...Elvus wasn't taking these lethal opioids for years ..it was only the last few years of his life...demerol was the lethal one ..Go look it up ...Elvis had high blood pressure..do you not think it was the dexedrine he was taking that caused it ..it us well known for giving you high blood pressure n all the other pills were playing havoc on his digestive system ...n his insomnia..wake up !!
I agree! All us Elvis fans wouldn't have thought any less of him if he'd gotten help and it came out about his drug use. But the bad thing is, the media would
The media would've torn him apart. Today it's nothing to hear of a famous person going to rehab and continuing their career. Back then there weren't many places you could go and much shame was attached to it.
@@sandralybrand9407 Exactly, just like they tore him apart for moving his body the first time he walked on stage. His fate was set the moment he set foot on stage, no one could have known this truth at the time. I believe his mother had an idea of the bad that could come from it all. Her decline accelerated before the army. She was smart. She knew him better than anyone else.
It's not to make him look bad people just want to know what really happened it doesn't make him look bad if he did it himself or they did clean up he will always be great stop being naive about things
Addiction is a very heartbreaking topic im dealing in my own family, I think they did what was right at the time R. I. P Elvis ❤️❤️❤️❤️thankyou for the info 💞
I think we have a pretty good idea how Elvis died now. No need for exact pill numbers. A bit of mystery around all of it gives Elvis a drop of privacy he deserved after death. The "cleaners" at least had Elvis' interests at heart. Good for them.
Elvis is alive his name's Bob Joyce he's got the same markings and everything I don't blame the guy for changing his name and everything that's why his grave isn't spelled right he didn't want to live that life the man was so giving and love God and he always wanted to be a preacher so now let's let the man be in peace
@@vilmamoro1809 no doubt they're letting the man rest in peace Wilshire he ain't going to tell anybody cuz he left that life a long time ago you can't blame the man but he is Bob Joyce I ain't gone lie ..lol
Elvis gave his all to his fans. Look at the many nice things he did for so many people. He always signed autographs, let people take pics, everything he could. There will never be another. Let him Rest In Peace.
Why does anyone have to know everything? The thing that Elvis wanted most was anonymity. Let him have, at least that. He will never be forgotten by his fans 😊❤️🦋. For older women now, I’m 72 and I love his music and the private memories he helped me to have thru his music. 🥰
Great video, I enjoy videos that touch on things that are very seldom talked about.....No matter how Elvis died, his fans will never stop loving him, so I can't understand why so many things are still being hid from the public......I'm surprised that no investigation was done to find out who messed around with the death scene, things like that, his stomach contents, having to wait 50 years for an autopsy to be made public is what causes people to believe there's a cover up.....Elvis was a human being who had problems just like all of us. If you love Elvis, nothing will change that, and that's all that matters.
His stomach contests were flushed down the sink, as was protocol for BMH in that situation. And Vernon had many different suspicions about his son being killed and had Dick Groub investigate.
AS A 80 YEAR OLD WOMAN BELIEVE ME WE ALL SCREAM AND CRIED WHEN WE SAW OUR BELOVED ELVIS, WHAT THE HELL DIFFERENCE DOES IT MATTER IF THEY CLEANED UP HIS BATHROOM. THE MEMPHIS MAFIA HAD WRITTEN THEIR TRASH BOOK THAT BROKE THE HEART OF ELVIS SO WHY NOT PROTECT HIS SOUL FROM MORE TRASH TALK, LET ELVIS REST IN PEACE. HE WAS LOVED BY BILLIONS.
Good for you! I agree. All these young people promoting Elvis for their own benefit when they are not qualified to clean his boots. lol They're talking about Elvis now and can't even comprehend that someone at 80 feels the same as they did when Elvis first came out and they are the ones with the real stories. Baz Lurhman had to investigate the older people who knew Elvis to find the truth. Leave Elvis alone. Enough. If I were there I would have cleaned up the bathroom too considering how ruthless people are. Unfortunately, the MM had years to try to rehabilitate themselves after ruthlessly turning against Elvis and violating their privacy commitment to him. After all Elvis did for the MM, I'll bet after the phone call Elvis had with Red West (who Red dishonestly taped ) he couldn't even be honest in the end. Red and Sonny cost Elvis money in lawsuits. In 1977 everyone was wanting money from Elvis and he wasn't making enough to off set what the hard work was doing to him. In short....Elvis spoiled these men....they felt they deserved for Elvis to take care of them.....they cheated on their wives, were missing from their families, what about that? Their wives should get recognition for raising their families alone. Elvis is gone and so are they. I'm sure they are no where near Elvis now.
I am sorta glad that everything was cleaned up to protect him. We all know he took things to help him out and Dr Nic supplied most of it. There wasn’t any need for legal problems and more media crap on top of everything. Presuming he did go on that day, and there’s a very valid argument that he didn’t, I think they did the right thing. R. I. P. Elvis. You’ll always be the legend you were in life.
@@TheJpep2424 unless you were there from the time he fell off the toilet till his body was put in the ground then it’s more delusional to pretend like you know the answer.
hIS COOK OF 17 yrs said , Elvis ate unhealthy and and they tried to put him ona diet but, Elvis refused ...An examiner said pills or no pills Elvis would have died regardless. Remember his mother died at the age of 47 yrs old due to heart problems.
Heart disease from both sides of his family, several generations. Eating his stress. And, Southern USA cooking is loaded with butter and bacon grease and genuinely tasty. I miss it. Elvis would sometimes smoke or just hold a cigarello (small, short, thin cigars) in his mouth. He hated drinking water. All these factors worked against him. He was always in my life. I'm 73. I am grateful for those people who loved him like a brother and shared so much of life. Y'all did so well. All of you. Rest in Peace. Most of you have passed away for Jerry Schilling, best wishes!
I think protecting him was the right thing to do even if that entailed subsequntly protecting the people who enabled him. He was a smart man who knew what he was doing and he did it his way! RIP
Protecting Elvis was part of the job. Elvis was good to the people who worked for him and treated them like family, I'm sure these ladie's felt they were doing their job.
I don’t suppose we will ever really know what went on at the end how could anyone there was only elvis there. One thing we can be sure of tho for a man who gave so much to everyone and was never alone died very much alone. A cruel irony. R I p king.
Once at Graceland a member of the MM saw him alone at the piano in the Piano Room at Graceland. He asked Elvis, “How do you feel?” Elvis replied, “Alone”. It breaks my heart to think of that.
I'm 45 yrs old . I was 1 and half when Elvis passed. I'm a huge fan. He was a gifted man who had a problem with drugs. As do most famous people, even today. I'm a firm believer we did that to him. We are the reason he did them. He didn't have a life. He couldn't go anywhere. Not to a store , or the movies. Or even take his daughter on a vacation without the world knowing. He truly is missed . Rest in peace Elvis
Was he was he really he stole American indian (the orginal indigenous black people) stole moves , songs. And all so do yoyr research and make sure cause its to many thangs goung on
June , 1974 was when my sister and I saw Elvis in Omaha, Nebraska. I had just turned 12 two weeks prior, and that day we just made it home from Kansas after our grandpa’s funeral. That’s a memory I’ll never forget.
Why would a 60-year-old woman go to see Elvis????? Watch the original version of That's the Way It Is (some were interviewed--and were thrilled with anticipation!!!) Elvis' shows were multi-generational (so your dad may be right after all)! Interesting video.
I understand everyone would like to know what happen to Elvis but Elvis had a very loyal family and friends and he was a human being like us but as a fan I do not want to know only Elvis and God knows I hope Elvis can rest in peace love all the work you do on your channel
The autopsy would show what drugs were in his system or see exactly how he died......I suppose that could have been covered up too. Like every other fan......he's gone and it doesnt really matter. We were all shocked, but not surprised as one can only do prescription drugs on a daily basis, before something terrible happens.
I can understand their need to clean up. Being in their spot, it wasn't covering for Dr. Nick of the other physicians, it was to protect Elvis' image and not hurt his fans. Even with the bathroom being cleaned up and his stomach contents being dumped, we still have a pretty good idea of how bad his health was. I just wish we had more years with him.
I went to see Elvis with my mom in 1972 in Atlanta. I was 13 and my mom was 30. Everyone loved him no matter the age. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. And I am now 62 and have seen a lot of concerts...❤️
I never know what to believe, when I hear all these things about Elvis. If it were true, the bottles, medication, and the scene should have been left alone until investigated really, to ascertain a circumstantial account of the events prior to Elvis' death.
@@danasmith940 It's easy to speculate especially after the events have been made clearer. The reason not to touch anything is because nobody was there when Elvis died. He was discovered some hours after his heart attack. Pills left by the side or near his body would confirm or add to the circumstances. Leaving things untouched gives a better indication of events leading up to the tragic and sad death.
Being a fan as early as I can remember:.. that day in August was my first experience of grief. I still can not watch his later concerts, have a hard time even looking at photos of him. What else do we really need to know? What he did to himself reminds all the more he was human. After almost 45 years…. Let him rest.
Just let the man rest in peace.. We all know that his death was caused by prescription drugs prescribed by. Doctors who took an oath to do no harm. Elvis had his demons he fought hard but in the end he couldn't over come them! His life seemed so glamorous.but that kind of whirlwind cost hlm a lot. Elvis enjoyed his life.and the magic that he created sure has given me endless enjoyment all these years! If someone did clean up they were still taking care of someone they loved! Lets just honor.a man that gave sô much to so many!!!'!! Thank. You Elvis !
I wish people would stop that. Whenever they disagree with something, they always write - "Just let the man rest in peace." For God's sake, stop it. No one is disturbing him! He's been resting peacefully for 44 years, and nothing is disturbing him. Do you really think that dead people scan the Internet to see if there's something about them? I wish all these fairy tales would stop. He's on a much higher plane now and earthly problems mean nothing. Just stop it.

One of my favorite lines from Downton Abbey was when lord Grantham said, " We all have chapters in our lives we'd rather go unpublished". No one's perfect. Let the man rest.
Elvis' death came as no surprise although many were blinded by his aura of immortality. People were too much in awe to fully understand that Elvis was not super human or something but a living and breathing human being taking very bad care of himself. He had a self-destructive side to him. In my opinion he challenged what ever it was that made him "Elvis Presley". All his life the one question that puzzled his mind mostly was "why me". He started to believe in his own immortality (maybe I am) and subconsciously challenged fate to sort this out. It most have been extremely strange to be Elvis Presley and we can praise him for doing this job so well. How he died and under which circumstances is irrelevant. He died and by doing so he became immortal. His legend will live forever.
Reading some of this that was written. You don't know what to believe or what not to believe. Some people make up things. Let. Elvis rest because he sure deserves it. RIP. ELVIS. LOVE AND MISS YOU

Elvis wore his earthly body out, he pushed himself just too hard. In his short life he did and achieved a thousand times more things than the rest of us will ever do even if we live to be 100 years old, and today 44 years after his death he is remembered and loved by millions around the world. He may have died at age 42, but in reality he achieved immortality. In history there have been many great achievers, but no one comes close to him, and I doubt anyone ever will.
My parents were there in 76. My mom said a woman took her shoe off (a brand new, beautiful high heel) and threw it at Elvis. She said it pissed him off and he picked it up and whipped it back in the audience in the same direction it came from. People are such a-holes.

Elvis was dead for hours, before his girlfriend found his body laying dead on his bathroom floor! Why do you think Elvis's father Vernon, had Elvis's autopsy sealed for 50 years???!!! What was he trying to hide??! Most autopsies are available to the general public. Even celebrities autopsies. Except JFK. Joe Eposito was loyal, as long as Elvis kept him on the payroll!! He did not love Elvis! Joe Eposito loved all the perks i.e. the groupies, cadillacs, notoriety, money , fame, jewelry and all the worthless materialistic things that came with being a member of Elvis's entourage!! Once Eposito and the rest of the "Memphis Mafia", kicked in the door of singer Wilson Picket's Las Vegas suite! During Picket's Las Vegas engagement !🚪 Wilson Picket alledgley said some derogatory comments about Elvis Presley and I believe Elvis sent the "Memphis Mafia " to Picket's hotel suite to deliver that waring!!⚠️ That pig "Colonel Parker"used Eposito to spy on Elvis too! Keeping Parker in charge of Elvis and ultimately killing him!!! Eposito even sued Elvis for a failed racquetball investment! But he loved Elvis, yeah right! Joe Eposito was nothing but a "Yes Man!" And he knew better than to question Elvis about his destructive drug abuse and deadly high cholesterol diet , infidelity and deteriorating health!! Joe Eposito along with a maid that worked at Graceland and Elvis's "airhead" girlfriend Jennifer Alden, helped conceal and clean up Elvis's bathroom and bedroom of evidence of drug abuse, before calling the paramedics!!! Because there was not one pill bottle found in Elvis's house, the day he died!! Elvis was taking around 9,000 prescribed medications!! 💊 That's the real reason, Elvis never fired him with the rest of the dear departed "Memphis Mafia!!" Joe Eposito cheated on his wife with Elvis groupies, regularly took drugs and was a "bag man" procuring illegal drugs for Elvis when they were both stationed in Germany in the U.S. Army back in the 1950s!! Eposito continued bringing in prescriptions drugs via Dr. Nick, til the day Elvis died!! In reality, if Joe Esposito experienced a religious awakening and give his life to God, his soul is right down there roasting in Hell, with greedy , fake "Colonel Parker, Elvis Presley and the rest of the leeche$ that lived off Elvis and used him!! "The Elvis Curse" has already snatched Elvis's grandson Benjamin Keough, causing him to commit suicide! He was only 27 years old!! R.I.P. Very tragic and sad!! 🙏

None of that matters. What matters is Elvis Presley changed music, fashion and the world for better. Elvis Presley's influence will live on through his fans and electronic media for as long as men walk the earth.
Considering that Elvis passed just a few weeks after that book came out, clearing everything out of the bathroom probably was the right thing to do at the time. However, as we know, things have a way of getting out no matter how much we try to keep them under wraps Of course, today if anyone did that they’d be guilty of tampering with evidence. My personal feeling is those of us that love and respect Elvis are going to love and respect him no matter what’s written in books, and people who want to believe bad things about them are going to believe bad things about him no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary. Those of us, that love and respect them are in the majority
That’s true! It doesn’t matter what I learned about Elvis I’m still interested and like the guy. Maybe a casual fan would be turned off by a certain details that come out.
Is it really evidence if it's not murder? I just mean, people die accidentally all the time. It would be like dressing someone famous who died of autoerotic asphyxiation so that it looked like a suicide instead of what it really was. Protecting that person's image because they're dead no matter - whether their pants are down or up.

È l'unica cosa positiva per chi muore giovane: rimarrà giovane in eterno! Elvis avrebbe oggi 88 anni!!
I have seen other videos made by his best friend. In one of them he said Lisa Marie went into his room and seen him on the floor of his bathroom before she was removed by a staff member. Kinda odd what some say about the King of Rock N Roll just to get their 10 minutes of fame. Elvis lives on in our hearts forever. He was a very special person, humble, kind, giving, one of a kind artist, believed in God & is still to this day very loved ❤!
One fact mentioned in the book "The Death of Elvis" is when Elvis was in the emergency room his jaw was locked and he had almost bitten through his tongue so they had to smash out his front teeth in order to slip the tubes down his throat to suction out the vomit. I found this interesting because it explained why his mouth did not look natural in the infamous coffin photo the The National Enquirer had on the front page of their magazine in 1977. I was 13 years old when I saw this photo and wondered why under Elvis nose his upper lip looked slightly indented and unnatural. Reading the book "The Death of Elvis" in the beginning of the 1990's answered this question for me when I read what had occurred in the emergency room with Elvis.
He was only one of THOUSANDS who have had problems with prescribed pain meds and there will be thousands more the man was the Greatest Performer who ever lived thats why he is called the KING and he gave his all to his fans I seen this man13xs live went back stage 6xs he was humble and he Loved his fans...LET HIM RIP......
Just like every hotel room he stayed in, Esposito was in charge of doing a thorough clean sweep to make sure there was nothing drug related left behind.
Delta finally did something right. I’d heard from insider interviews how she could have been a little high maintenance while she resided there at the main house. I also heard Joe Esposito in an interview say that he arrived the day of 8-16-77 at 12 noon for another reason but was told to rush to the upper suite because there was an emergency. He said he ran into his bathroom and found him cold and blue on the floor, he wanted to administer CPR but couldn’t because rigor mortis had already set in and his jaw was shut tight, it could not be opened.

He was allergic to Codeine!! It was in his military records. Earlier that morning he went to the dentist that gave him a shot of Codeine while working on his tooth. He went home and laid down. He slept a little and went to the bathroom. I know personally from my doctors that pain meds can and will get you extremely constipated. He had a large blockage in his bowel. Now a days doctors prescribe Miralax mixed in water to pass through your bowel. Also doctors listen to your stomach because it let's them know your bowels are working. I truly believe back then doctors were not that advanced or just didn't think about it. So much cover up. While all this going on Ginger taking shower and getting all dressed up and even packed her clothes and jewelry while Lisa Marie was in severe shock and distress. She was in it for the money. Vernon leaned on Priscilla. That was the wisest thing.
To be honest with you I wish they had left things the way they were too and that way we would all know what really happened and what caused Elvis death. God only knows what really happened and I don’t think we’re ever going to know the full truth. Really sad especially if Elvis took his own life😢Will Always Love him and be a huge fan.Thank you for this interesting and informative video🙏🙏 God Bless❤️
Wow I really love your vlogs man there always so interesting. I think they all knew that Elvis overdosed and they tried their hardest to keep his image clean which I can understand, however as you mentioned it would have been much better if they had left the scene the way it was. It’s the only way to do a proper investigation on a person aged 42 that died at home. And honestly us Elvis fans wouldn’t care less if had overdosed it would never take away anything form the mans talent.
@@LindaD68 Whoever put it in your butt, have them pull it out. Giving opinions on Elvis' life events isn't inappropriate. Dave didn't say one word that was demeaning. Joe Esposito said he cleaned up. But I would hardly call it protecting him, since they told everything, even the most intimate things about Elvis to the press later.
I have always wondered why the mm told everything they could think of to tell about Elvis but nothing about what they were doing.Probably as bad or worse than him.
No one will ever know the truth about Mr. Presley's death and it has been so many years ago does it really matter? I am approaching eighty years old and tell you what if he were alive today and had his youth (just starting to sing) wouldn't anyone keep me from going to his concert (@80)!!!! I was very lucky to have seen him in concert and no one could have stopped me then either. He was human; he lived and he died just like all humans. He was very blessed while he was on earth many people loved him and still do.
My mom & aunt went to his concert in 1974, but he played in 1970, 1972, 1974 & 1977 at Olympia Arena. We actually just talked about it again on her birthday when we were leaving the Elvis film.
Could be but I don't find that to be any different than most everyone do that. I myself will stay in my room if someone shows up I don't want to talk too or see
Elvis had a roo. that was his sanctuary. I hate he died alone, so many loved him. I would love to see his room but that is not our business at all. he is still loved by so many people and I am 75. age has nothing to do with it. He was loved by EVERY AGE AND I PROVE THAT. I MISS HIM SO MUCH HE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. HE HAD SO MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND STILL DIED ALONE....THAT BTEAKS MY HEART
I always Elvis I love complications, and with that medication is always prescribed and his doctor that he had faces just over Medicaid him probably was stronger medications that he needed so let's put this to rest. Fence did you respect his dignity and let him rest in peace. And anything that dizzy Priscilla comes up with I wouldn't pay any attention to it. S*** her daughter on the older grandkids couldn't even go to the White House to receive the award for president Trump that is pathetic. But Priscilla Haynes after the name Presley and she's making money I rest my case. 😔😔😔😔

Elvis security had been taught from the time Elvis came off the stage till he was gone away in a car that it was supposed to only 1 minute 45 seconds till he was out of the building.
Man- all I know is this -I became a fan at 10 years old ( 1973) after wearing out my moms LP and when he passed -I vowed I would learn how to play the guitar and I did . I SUCK at playing the guitar but ... I play the guitar !
Some of the details you shared I have not heard. Very interesting, it seems like a little more comes out as the years go by. So many say he is still alive. I'm surprised he lived as long as he did with his excesses, but people are still very much in denial in his passing. So many mysteries around him. I have always been intrigued myself. I wonder if he didn't have to serve in the military would he have avoided his med excess? Maybe not. Thanks for sharing.
The way the adults reacted is obviously a clue that this wasn't anything new except for the fact that he died. It's really nobody's business except for Lisa Marie & family members but we the fans love him. He overdosed and that's what the clean up session tells me. Very typical Rock Star situation stems from way before it happened to Elvis.
I was at both of those concerts at Olympia stadium in Detroit ......also New years eve 1975 at Pontiac silverdome and again at Olympia in 77.....treasure all those memories
Elvis just got with the wrong people. The guys that worked for him were just there for the parties and women. They didn't care anything about elvis. Elvis had a very sad life.
As a fan I understand the interest in knowing what really happened. On the other hand, the man gave enough to his fans and he (and his family) had a right to privacy.
Right..
Life sentence tho for his wife and daughter to the media
Great point!
Totally agree with you on this point Bessie Oriotis!
The King is gone. Long live the king.
Wonderfully Said - Thanks
I'm glad that the people closest to him did that in honor of his dignity rather than investigators tearing him up in the tabloids. Love people that are 100% loyal. RIP ELVIS. No one will ever come close to your voice, your class and your kindness.
Yes they were loyal
Pastor Bob' Joyce is identical to Elvis voice
I was 25 when Elvis passed on. The truth eventually came out. At the time of his death, I did not want him going out Hendrix or Joplin. Elvis' good far outweighed his bad. He needed help towards the end of his life. This is just my opinion of course.
I appreciate the loyalty those ladies demonstrated. I have zero issues with it.

Say what you want about Elvis now, but at least when he was here, he tried very hard to maintain a decent image for young people.
I AGREE....
No, it was to protect Elvis's image only for further financial gain.
Yea it was for image and money but I don't care about what elvis did he was human so no 1s perfect
People should leave him in peace in my opinion
You know the Elvis fan in me wants to know the whole story. However, I understand why everyone around Elvis wanted to protect him. He had a squeaky clean image, and they didn’t want anything to tarnish his legacy. Truth is I loved him faults and all. I just wish he could have gotten help, and realized for himself that he is human and that asking for help doesn’t make him any less special. It probably would have inspired others to ask for help In areas of their own weakness.
Enough everone. What about all his medical issues? Did he have a right to be treated for those? And he had many bad medical conditions.

My godfather was stationed in Germany with Elvis. In later years, he would attend concerts in Vegas to see Elvis, who was always nice. 🤠🍀👍

As far as I know Elvis's death was never under investigation as the hospital concluded he died from a heart attack, so there was never a reason why it wud be invesgated as they only invesigat if the hospital concludes the death was suspicious which his death was never. I am tired of ppl trying 2 make things up about Elvis 2 make money out of him.
Elvis died because he had trouble sleeping. He took so many pills to get to sleep and on that night the pills stopped his heart.
Both of you are wrong...it was a Combination of the strong opiods..yes, arteries of a much older man..heart attack..
God sent Elvis knew he was not the king but God knew elvis was a special person
Sadly it was just his time. Elvis gave it all to us and nobody really needs to know anything other than on August 16 1977 a wonderful light burnt out here on earth but the angels in heaven got a huge addition.
Thank you. Such fascination with this man's death and its details is disturbing. His personal life and struggle should have been kept just that...personal.
@@richardeidemiller6739 I will say if it would help the medical community determine what health problems and addictions he had and maybe how it could have been treated to help others in the future I’m for. I’m not a fan of the folks that focus on a 42 year old man who was honestly used by many he thought were friends dying because it makes good tv or print. Elvis was a human with feelings and no matter what happened he doesn’t deserve all the tell all books and stuff. Sure he might have took too much med but if we was in his place with the whole world on our backs we might just do the same thing.
@@matildaharden1064 I agree however 43 years have passed, the medical world is far advanced and drug addiction is worse than it ever was.
I feel at this point what happened in Elvis case can't shed any new light on either. At this point its resembles tabloid trash full of details that benefit no one except for those that want to appear knowledgeable all things Elvis. For all we know he wasn't meant to live longer than he did no matter
what he did or didn't do. I'm with you, enjoy the gift he was, the rest was his business .
@@richardeidemiller6739 what I meant was if it would have helped the medical field at the time, now it’s really not a big deal but then addiction was not as well known.
@@richardeidemiller6739 he wasn’t meant to live longer because he didn’t, it was his time. If you look at his mother she also got a lot larger in the year before her death which likely was caused by liver issues. For all we know Elvis had serious health issues in 1977 and pill dependency or not he was in really bad shape.
I agree with you. If they had left the evidence there, it would have made it crystal clear that Dr. Nick was nothing more than a drug pusher. He should have gone to jail just as Conrad Murray did. But I do understand why the family did that….to preserve his privacy and his dignity, which he deserved. Just so sad that no one could help him. 💔😥
So sad so many watched his decline. Addicts need help to wean off so they will BE their true self again.
In 1973 Elvis did his satellite show from Hawaii. It was his greatest performance.
Total family devotion.
I would have cleaned up after him too. He was the king. Never let him look any other way.
I'm a bit shocked that aunt Delta ordered the maid to clean up and get rid of syringes and drugs. If I was aunt Delta I would have been upset about Elvis dying. I would not even think about clearing up and hiding medications etc.. I would have been so traumatised about Elvis dying. Just a thought
I expect she was and the only way she knew to help him was to hide his addiction
Elvis was dead for hours, before his girlfriend found his body laying dead on his bathroom floor!
Why do you think Elvis's father
Vernon, had Elvis's autopsy sealed for 50 years???!!!
During Picket's Las Vegas engagement !🚪
Wilson Picket
alledgley said some derogatory comments about Elvis Presley and I believe Elvis sent the
"Memphis Mafia " to Picket's hotel suite to deliver that waring!!⚠️
That pig "Colonel Parker"used Eposito to spy on Elvis too! Keeping Parker in charge of Elvis and ultimately killing him!!!
Eposito even sued Elvis for a failed racquetball investment! But he loved Elvis, yeah right!
Joe Eposito was nothing but a "Yes Man!"
And he knew better than to question Elvis about his destructive drug abuse and deadly high cholesterol diet , infidelity and deteriorating health!!
That's the real reason, Elvis never fired him with the rest of the dear departed "Memphis Mafia!!"
Joe Eposito cheated on his wife with Elvis groupies, regularly took drugs and was a "bag man" procuring illegal drugs for Elvis when they were both stationed in Germany in the U.S.
🙏
She done it to protect him
I dont understand why things keep getting brought up, We are all human, leave Elvis alone and let him rest in peace without crap constantly thrown in the videos. Enough is Enough talk about all the good in his life,we all can look behind us a d see wrong,,
Agreed. Sick fascination with every aspect of his private life.
@@richardeidemiller6739 Agreed. It's sickening. It's sad enough he died so young and died alone.
# they did the right thing cleaning up before investigation started Elvis would have wanted that. It also left him with the privacy he wanted.
However, as we know, things have a way of getting out no matter how much we try to keep them under wraps
Of course, today if anyone did that they’d be guilty of tampering with evidence.
MSG in NYC: lights out, intro music playing, flashes of glitter
from his jumpsuit. Then," Elvis has left the Building; thank you and goodnight My wife was there.
😂😂😂😂
They did the right thing by cleaning it up. The cover up didn't have to do entirely with being a drug addict but he was a positive influence to his community and they were all trying to protect his image.
Thank you for sharing this. It is the 1st I ever heard that his maid was the 2nd person to see him dead. Wonder how long he'd been Gone until Ginger found him.
As a fan, I 9:29 don't want to know. Lets just let Elvis RIP long live the king 🤴. Lisa Marie said on Oprah when she was young. My dad was high on stage. Like she wasn't proud. 😢it breaks my heart that he did die alone. Let him rest. Please 💔
I Have ALWAYS Wondered this!!! Thank You!!!
💯
Ģreat to see at least someone was Loyal to him
È l'unica cosa positiva per chi muore giovane: rimarrà giovane in eterno! Elvis avrebbe oggi 88 anni!!
Elvis will forever be young ❤️
I think we should leave well alone xxx he was in a lot of pain and died of a heart attack so why do you all wont to no more I dont xxxx
Thank you very much for a real interesting video 🙏‼️🙋♂️
Good!
May God bless this dear man.
Time to let him rest in peace
Hey Man, you're doing a real good thing here man I m a truly big Elvis fan since birth. aloha from Hawaii & 68 comeback. I believe we do not deserve the private health or death details of anyone let alone Elvis Presley. I would like to know but you know "That's the way it is "lol. the press was brutal to Elvis then mid 70.s. I remember right b4 he retired the press was chewing him up & spitting him out. The stinking press would have destroyed Elvis's entire legacy if they could have. they were tame comparatively. I'm Candian & going to Graceland soon. So thank-you-very Muuush you for putting out the content & the "Release the footage campaign". Rest in Peace KING Elvis !! >Famous Person Elvis Changed My World....TigerMan
I seen Elvis in 1974&76...in Baton Rouge, La. Elvis was wonderful. So handsome!! I remember exactly were I was. It was 3pm.
Nice!
Hi , love you T shirt, im from Ireland and your doin a great job keeping the best performer in the world with us, great job love it👍👍
To be honest with you I wish they had left things the way they were too and that way we would all know what really happened and what caused Elvis death. God only knows what really happened and I don’t think we’re ever going to know the full truth. Really sad especially if Elvis took his own life😢Will Always Love him and be a huge fan.Thank you for this interesting and informative video🙏🙏
God Bless❤️
I dint think we’ll ever know either. Just come to very possible conclusions
Ummmmm...thats why they cleaned up so we wouldn't find out the truth. If this is true, then they should be arrested for cover up!!
That’s true! 💯
Or his humanity. I agree.
@@LindaD68 Whoever put it in your butt, have them pull it out. Giving opinions on Elvis' life events isn't inappropriate. Dave didn't say one word that was demeaning. He's ALWAYS informative and interesting when giving his take on info that we're all privy to. You're not special, nor does your opinion mean that you know more or less than any hardcore Elvis fan does. You know what they say about opinions, they're like a certain body part that all of us have. Take your judgmental self to another channel, stop preaching to us after trying to tear Dave down! The adults are trying to have civil discourse. We don't need your emotional drama. 🤦♀️🤡🤡
Ty for sharing Elvis with us may he rip😁🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Wow! I never never knew the ladies cleaned up. I always thought it was the MM. Thanks for the heads 👍 up.
sad when elvis presley died that poor man and all the work he did with movies and music and not getting time off thank you tom Parker
Joe Esposito said he cleaned up. But I would hardly call it protecting him, since they told everything, even the most intimate things about Elvis to the press later.
Yeah later on they “told all”
I have always wondered why the mm told everything they could think of to tell about Elvis but nothing about what they were doing.Probably as bad or worse than him.
Rock and roll is what Elvis's life was like, and he was the king of it, you have to take the ups and downs like the waves in the ocean.
Is it true that some night Elvis prefer to stay upstairs than meet someone he dose not want to see.
Could be but I don't find that to be any different than most everyone do that. I myself will stay in my room if someone shows up I don't want to talk too or see
He actually had a "secret" staircase he could use if he wanted to come down and not be seen.
It let out in the kitchen.
Very interesting video such a shame he had it all but just couldn’t handle the enormous pressure he was obviously under . 👑👑👑🇬🇧👍
Col Tom Parker destroyed Elvis...and he died from Parker's abuse!
No one can take that pressure. 2 shows a day?
@@aristotleonassis5792 yes you’re spot on what was he thinking he should have told Parker enough is enough but I guess we don’t no the ins and outs of it . It would never happen today thank god 👍
Thanks for sharing all of your videos!!!😃
Some of the details you shared I have not heard. Very interesting, it seems like a little more comes out as the years go by. So many say he is still alive. I'm surprised he lived as long as he did with his excesses, but people are still very much in denial in his passing. So many mysteries around him. I have always been intrigued myself. I wonder if he didn't have to serve in the military would he have avoided his med excess? Maybe not. Thanks for sharing.
It would have been treated as a crime scene these days. And the ones clearing it up would have been charged with perverting the course of justice.
Charged with obstruction of justice or evidence tampering.
That limo we used it for my brother's 9th grade banquet in Detroit MI a family friend purchased it at an auction!! 😯😉👍🇺🇲
The people around Elvis really cared about him. Maybe a little too much to try to cover up everything surrounding his death! Excellent video! Thanks.
Ginger said she did not see, any pills or syringes lying on the floor when she found Elvis.
Neither did the paramedics.
