It's Lord fucking Zaiden.
*After hours of playtime, you reach the door leading to the final defender of the elden ring. A massive knight rises up wielding his dual axes. A health bar appears, it reads...*

It truly is unfortunate how so many people have godly game ideas, but just cant realize them because of a ton of limitations
I'm a former VFX artist/Technical Director - You have no idea how painful it is. I'm surrounded by people who artistically brilliant have excellent ideas, but most of them will never be realized because who the heck can afford to produce it?
And the companies that have money lack the talent and abilities to make proper games.

That first game seems like it has so much potential with its ideas, honestly. It just needs more developing hours budget and better implementations.
I recommend Ultra Age, it's gameplay is inspired by DMC and Nier:Automata combat system. Give it a try in steam. The demo is good (it has souls-like elements too)

Dunno how they would take inspiration from an all time shittiest game aka DMC
The first one looks to be the only one with any kind of passion put into it, the other 2 look like they were made in 5 hours...

Considering how much you seem to love mythology and monster design I really think you would like shin megami tensei. It’s basically Pokémon but the Pokémon are mythological beings from many different cultures. It’s pretty philosophical and notoriously difficult, and even if you don’t make videos on it I think it would genuinely be a series you would love.

@@toolatetothestory persona is a spin off of smt. I personally prefer the persona series, it just kinda fills a niche for gaming I didn’t know I had. I just think mythymoo would prefer smt over persona, especially if he wanted to make a series out of his play through. Persona can be a bit of an investment lol

You should revisit Dead Cells. The game received a lot of awesome updates, especially the most recent, that is a crossover with other games, such as Hollow Knight.
Watching your Elden Ring videos had me subscribe to you and now I'm so excited to see you play and play the game myself when it comes out. I'm ready to die of laughter and from enemies in the game.

Play Ashen on Children of Sissna mode. I’ve played and gotten all the trophies on just about every souls/soulslike game. Ashen solo on Children of Sissna was by far the hardest! I just wanna see people suffer like I did honestly.🤣

Does anyone remember the game paragon? It was a really good moba back in the day and that robot on the start screen was one of the characters u could play as but looks like he was slightly modified here. His name was crunch a robot who fought like a boxer and his abilities were a gut punch that rooted, an uppercut that knocks people in the air, a double handed cleave and his ult is a charged forward moving rocket powered punch. His character is supposed to work off of combos so if he uses two abilities and then uses a third one right after it’s empowered with some special affects this also applies with his ult. Crunch was my favorite character and I miss the game a lot 😂😂😅😅
Not a Souls-like per se, but if you haven't played, i HIGHLY recommend Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen!

A souls-like I found after Dark Souls 3 was called Remnant: From the Ashes. Kinda Souls, kinda Bloodborne, more of a focus on guns rather than melee, and somewhat meant to be a co-op game. Has a small degree of procedural generation in the world so that no campaign is exactly the same for the first couple of playthroughs if you stick primarily to the story, as the game also features alternative modes where you can unlock items, places, and events that didn't occur in the campaign, and you can access those modes at any time. The story is rather simple, but not in a bad way in my opinion, and depending on what you want to do with your character, the beginning of the game can seem unfairly difficult, but once you manage to get in and figure things out it can be pretty fun.
