I wear all colors depending on my moods and needs. When I wear black I combine it with another strong color. I don't believr in genersl rules. Dressing is about creativity, self- expression and fun so enjoy!!
Orange with all its shades from pale morning dew or light apricot to almost neon juicy orange is my favourite. Also various shades of blue including my beloved washed out blue jeans ! Interesting video. Many thanks. I am 65 and no complexes ! Act as young, if you feel young.
What an inspiration! Your favorite colors are vibrant and full of life. I love your energy and youthful attitude! Thank you so much for the kind words! 🌟🧡💙
I really wish shade would be used less when hue is the word and then use shade when appropriate. Blue is a hue. Navy is a shade of blue or a tone. There are tones to different colors and even to shades. Also, use ladies over 50 instead of teens and twenties or so.
I am 84 years old look about 65 and love wearing black, wine suits and jackets, navy blue, almost any color but always wear a solid color pants and top and then a colored jackets. I never wear beige, grey. Soft yellow, pink except in the summer, but they wash me out. as I am fair skin and turquoise blue eyes….
I agreed, she should have older models weaning the colors for different skin hair tones …. Someone can be a WINTER OR SUMMER!!! COOL OR WARM!!!😊 THE PALLET OF COLORS DIFFERS IN EACH WOMAN!!! THANK YOU ANY WAY FOR INTERESTING 🤔 VIDEO!!!

Colors in our "season" are best for skintone. Black and white are not in mine. I like neutrals (navy, camel or khakai, w/ blues and some greens for tops.
Exactly, jewel tones and pastels have cool or warm tones. Select colors that suit and enhance your skin color. This video did not explain that. Ladies, you can still wear colors that don't flatter your face (like black or opposite your skin tone) so wear them below your waist (skirts, pants, belts, shoes & thin or small accesories.)
Problem is, the colors of the clothes in the stores i can afford are generally dull. America differentiates between the poor and the rich through the choice of clothes it offers: rich colors for the rich, proletariat grey for the proletariats.
Interesting--your view that rich vibrant colors are mostly shown in more expensive clothes. And that gray and other dull colors are reserved for cheaper clothes. I'm definitely not saying I'm right but I thought it was the reverse. I've framed it as "simple" primary colors are often used for cheap, unsophisticated clothes. More expensive clothes are often in "subtle, sophisticated" colors. I think we're both right!
@margowright3634 no, I agree with you that gaudy colors are generally cheaper, but most mid-level clothes, like ESPECIALLY H&M garments, are almost always dull and unimaginative. You can have interesting, vibrant colors that aren't automatically gaudy. Macy's is one of the retailers that seems to market that. At the same token, dull colors are generally more elegant than flashier designs, and I tend to prefer duller colors, actually. But a little variety is a good thing. With so many retailers out there, it seems to be either/or.
I dress with a critical eye, looking into a full length mirror. Also, red can be good, but a woman over a certain age, should absolutely never wear red lipstick!
Agreed on the mirror! As for red lipstick, I think it depends on confidence and personal style. Every woman should wear what makes her feel amazing! 💄❤️
This would be much more believable and authentic, if your models/examples were all actually mature women over 50.
EXACTLY!!!!!!🙄🙄🙄
As entertaining as this is, I was thinking the same. I would have liked to see some of these colours on more silver haired ladies.
Good point…..

What a wonderful attitude! Dressing with creativity and expression is truly the key to shining. Keep enjoying your style! 🌈✨
I agree with the too young age of your models.😊

Sophia Loren wears black all the time. Good enough for me. I also love white and many other colors.
Sophia Loren is pure inspiration! Black is always elegant, but it’s wonderful to explore other colors you love. 🌟🖤

She used the queen!!! She looks wonderful in all of those colors!! Me personally love colors!!
Great point! I’ll be more mindful of the terms and include more age diversity in references. Thanks for the feedback! 🌟
Love all the pastels and terracota colours❤
👏👏👏👏
Where are the best modeling agencies and retailers who accept older mature models?

Your style is amazing! Your choices beautifully enhance your natural beauty and perfectly match your eyes and skin tone. Keep shining! 💙✨

Totally agree! Showcasing different skin, hair tones, and seasons brings more connection and inspiration. Thanks for the kind feedback! 🌟😊
Your choices show how knowing your palette makes all the difference! Neutrals and soft tones enhance your natural beauty. Perfect! 🌿✨
What rubbish! I'm 74, have white curly hair and always rock black and white! Thi is SO impersonal, not helpful at all.
this is mostly click bait, she never really goes in depth to show anyone in colors on real people except Queen Elizabeth
Some people are overwhelmed by the jewel tones and need softer shades.
True! Soft shades can also be elegant and comforting; it’s all about finding what works for you. 🌸
Thank you 👏👏👏👏
So glad you liked it! Thank you so much for the support! 🥰👏
Jewel colours
👏👏👏👏
Your are so right
😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️
I have very fair skin with cool undertones. I look horrible in terracotta.

@ 👍🏻😀
Cool tones are perfect to complement your skin! Avoiding warm shades like terracotta makes sense to keep your look balanced. 💙✨
Exactly! Knowing where to use colors is key. Shades that don't flatter your face work great below the waist or in accessories. Great tip! 🌈✨
I agree that having young people help enforce your message.
I agree! Young people can bring fresh energy and connect more with the audience. Thanks for your comment! 😊
I truly like Terra Cota ever since…
👏👏👏👏👏
Queen Elizabeth did wear those bright colors so she would stand out.
Exactly! Queen Elizabeth's bright colors were a strategy to ensure she stood out and was recognizable in crowds. 👑✨
Dark colors are most slimming against a dark background.
True! Dark colors, especially against dark backgrounds, create a more elongated and elegant silhouette. ✨
These models are pretty young.
True, most models are young, but style and elegance have no age! ✨
Problem is, the colors of the clothes in the stores i can afford are generally dull. America differentiates between the poor and the rich through the choice of clothes it offers: rich colors for the rich, proletariat grey for the proletariats.
I get your frustration! Try exploring thrift stores or customizing basic pieces with vibrant accessories. Style is creativity! 💡
@SmilesOfMaturity excellent point! Happy 2025!

Lots of words, few good examples. And I can't find Catherine Deneuve in this video:))) A waste of time.
👀
Enough about Black & Navy.
I'm fast forwarding.
Got it, sometimes it's good to mix things up! I'll bring more options and fresh ideas in future videos. 😉
I am 65
That’s amazing! Maturity brings unique beauty and wisdom. Enjoy every moment! ❤

Later in the video she gets to other skin tone colors
Word salad 😂
👀
Really, are you comparing ordinary People with the Queen of England?
Of course not! The idea is to inspire elegance, adapted to everyone's daily life. 🌟
Who cares! Wear what you like.
Absolutely, the most important thing is feeling good in what you wear! 🫶
Loads of repetition.
I see your point! I'll work on bringing more variety in future videos. Thanks for the feedback! 😊
Who writes this drivel?
👀
Too much irrelevant talk
Thank you for the feedback! I'll adjust and focus more on the content. 💖
None sense ! Wear what you like !
