New Cricut Sticker Function - First Look

Cricut Sticker Function first look. I created a few stickers in Midjourney to test out the new Sticker Function in Design Space. My grandest hope is that this new function will allow me to finally move away from Silhouette Cameo 4 for sticker creation.
The sticker function is only available for Cricut Access subscribers.
My first attempt was...underwhelming. I'm going to continue to test this new feature with other types of sticker paper and Cricut settings for a future video.

Honestly, I think it may just be the Cricuit paper. I had this same issue using their printer vinyl sticker paper without using the sticker function

It could be. I am really hopeful the new sticker function will sort out my sticker issues with Cricut.

Was it the sticker option or did you just choose the wrong settings? I have used the sticker option since the beta release and have had little to no problems with it.

I used default settings and found issues. It was the first time using the sticker feature, and I have a second video on this topic launching today.

Why are you trying to move away from cameo?

So many reasons. It comes down to consistency. The registration failure rate on the Cameo 4 is astronomical, the blade issues are worrisome - I replace the auto blade on a monthly basis and I have yet to replace a Cricut blade. I have reduced the workload on the Cameo 4 to occasional sticker cutting and everything else is done on a Cricut Maker.
