Dave and Trey first met in Feb of 1993 at a Warren Haynes power jam. Almost 30 years later, here they are, legends of music playing a festival in Mexico. I wonder if they ever thought they'd be this lucky!

oh shit Dave partied all 4 nights w trey i know they did some kind of drugs if not heroin and coke at least non addictive party drugs like MDMA sHROOMS AND ACID

I bet they did. I saw them perform a couple impromptu shows back in the 00’s (they were both more with it in the early 00s compared to the late 00s) in NYC where they were both bombed and grinding their teeth from too much cocaine. They both have admitted substance abuse problems but have never copped to abusing cocaine despite all the evidence like both having overly nasal vocals and repeatedly trying to clear their nasal passages during songs.
