    This movie is actually my favorite, I have favorites in different genres, but in thriller, it's the Ring. Its nostalgic for me as I saw this movie in the theater but I even have the movie poster, however the DVD case did not have the original cover, it was the well scene as the cover instead of the black with the ring inside. But whatever.... I have so many copies of this..... is there any more Easter eggs???????

      same. the first ring had a strong impact on me. watched it around 12, now 26, and yet the vid comes off as disturbing/legit horror movie compared to the current standards today (cheap jumpscares/more gore scenes). took me years to somehow be able to bear watching it. i've had nightmares when i was a kid. the grudge was no where close cause i assumed it was a rip off. lol

    Just watched this film tonight and I’m glad they didn’t go the predictable “we freed the antagonist from their trouble and now everyone’s happy” route.

    • @lessismore8533
      @lessismore8533 Год назад

      Well I’m not sure how many horror movies you watched BUT the horror franchise barely goes in that direction, vs other movie genres. So I wouldn’t call it “predictable “ for the Ring. However, as dangerous as Samaras powers are and as much as I love seeing villains defeated for good, her tragic background just has me rather her peace so no no more ppl would die. That might seem like a contradicting plot but her video curse is unstoppable. Her character is basically “keep working as I’m never satisfied “ but she couldn’t work forever as eventually everyone would be dead anyway. Some protagonist would have to change that or this villian always wins. So ppl don’t need to be laughing/smiling to fix a problem. They can just be relieved . If Samara is at peace then her wrath ends. Because again, that curse is unbeatable. If you check out the 2017 Rings film, the vid goes viral online.

    • @cursorguy
      @cursorguy Год назад

      @@lessismore8533 Yes, I’m sure everyone (myself included) wanted to see Samara finally have peace. I like the plot twist though and that Naomi was tricked by her to be freed so that she can kill more people.

      @lessismore8533 Год назад +1

      @@cursorguy yah good point but I actually had 2 questions about that:
      The tape curse already existed even before she was “freed” so what’s the difference? How does it make her kill more ppl?
      Also in “Rings” 2017 apparently she wasn’t free until her bones were burned. A new character once again fell for her trick and now she is using Julias body to roam free. So was that her plan all along?
      Also if you watch “Rings 2005” mini film it’s amazing . Definitely would’ve been a better sequel

      @@julianbluefeather8491 I KNOW RIGHT! Totally agree! Such a SHAME! The short film is way better than The Ring2. Yah it was so entertaining seeing foolish teens messing with a death tape like it was some game. You can just imagine real idiots doing this😂. Only thing it was missing was Rachel/Aiden. But yes a full length movie would’ve had them. I love the scene with the ladder on the cam corder. Hideo Nakata directed the original Ring and they let him do NOTHING on The Ring 2. No wonder it flopped. Hollywood sucks sometimes. If I were in the film industry I would let him do what he wanted. I love the Ring so much I’d work very hard to do a good job. The Japanese version has a solid trilogy. And the US version had potential but fell into the wrong hands.

    • @ChainsawManDude97
      @ChainsawManDude97 11 месяцев назад +3

      I honestly agree. I think The Ring remake is much better than Ringu. I liked Ringu. Don’t get me wrong, it is scary and it did change J horror as well. But I felt Ringu was too short. When I watched Ringu, I enjoyed it but I felt like it was missing something. The Ring 2002 fixes those issues. Overeating fans of Ringu will throw bullshit like, oh it’s trying to hard to be scary, and it’s color grading trying to hard to be scary. Let me tell you something, if you think that’s all the remake is all about then your loss. The remake adds way more to the story and the longer runtime makes it feel more satisfying of a watch. The whole added material like extending the tape, the object in the tape appearing all around Rachel, and giving more story to Samara and her family help make a more mysterious and suspenseful movie. This type of stuff is what other J horror remakes lacked. The complaints Ringu fans make with The Ring are what the other J horror remakes are like, not The Ring.

    Guys, where can I see the movie "The ring" original, without any deleted scene?
    It turns out that this movie has several scenes that were removed from the original movie.
    I would like to see the original movie, that is, without any of these scenes being eliminated. I think the process to see which scenes need to be removed from a movie is called a "test-screening process".
    If anyone knows please let me know.

    Is There A 1:55:16 The Ring That's The Hour Or Minutes

    • @MasonStrand
      @MasonStrand 8 лет назад

      That means one hour, 55 minutes, and 16 seconds. The last numbers after the last : (colon) are always the seconds. In addition, there may be decimal points after said numbers. (Ex: .56) this means how much after a second before a full second the film reaches. The number .99 (or .9900000000 continuing onward...) is the last number before a second ticks by. There are 60 seconds in a minute, so after said seconds, the minute market will tick upwards, and after 60 minutes, the hour marker will tick upwards. Hope this helped.
