I was shocked they had the balls to kill Tech
I was f-ing furious when they did that and then the shock ending about Omega's you know who.
I doubt they did.
Probably still alive
Then you are easily shocked
I want star wars to have the balls to keep him dead. I loved tech, but I want deaths to matter in this universe. Not another echo comes back, and yes. The elephant in the room, palpatine
Everyone knows that Kiwi’s are Fetts. It’s just canon.
I think Omega’s sister was made in the same batch as Omega, but she had the age augmentation unlike Omega
I'm pretty sure there's more than one of her. The one that led her in walked away and then another one came in and said you must be Omega.
@@MichaelS-jk8tj Oh yeh definitely. Going by what we've seen (muliple similar looking women around Tantiss as scientists and Omega being an assistant) I suspect the Kaminoans actually made a large batch of female clones as an experiment, that they reused as scientists and medical support later.
It would be an easy way to distinguish between combat clones and non-combat clones and to keep the two groups seperate and to (try to) prevent any kind of bonding. After that batch was bred they could've realised that having a young girl with pure Fett DNA is a good way to have a second dna source that nobody realises is actually a thing, purely as an emergency option. (They seemed rather secretive about her in the first season.) Although they could've kept her in stasis at another facility now that I'm thinking about it, that probably would've been safer than to have her be around on Kamino.
Then after the war they just transferred the sceintists and their support crew (the female clones) to Tantiss to work there, while Omega escaped with the Bad Batch, which brings us to where the series is now.
Orrrr, simpler, sadder and more interestingly. What if the female clones are actually spaarti clones of Jango, all bred on Tantiss? That would be even more interesting I think. Perhaps they could throw in something like Spaarti clones only living for about 20 years because of deficiencies, and you then have a new clone batch that won't even see the end of the civil war and are stuck experimenting on their brothers that could actually see the end of the civil war.
@@MichaelS-jk8tjFor sure, Hemlock tells one of them to have Emerie see to Omegas injuries, but emerie looks exactly like the girl that hemlock told that to.
it obviously had a lot to do with all the beakers and shit
I doubt they're from the same batch, but she has probably had some age acceleration. Jango's involvement with the Kaminoans arguably didn't start long enough ago for them to have played around with his DNA enough to make a female version of her apparent age.
Omega, given her name, is likely a newer, "upgraded" version of Emerie. Maybe Emerie was the first version "successful" enough to keep, which is why they aged her up, unlike with Omega's final, complete version.
The scene from Omegas pov was peak and really well made. I'm sad no one is acknowledging just how good that scene was the animation, the tension everything.
Everything leading up to that scene too. Fucking incredible
The opening shot looked like a damn live action movie. Hell, the whole season, S1 and tcw s7 are cutting edge animation and fidelity.
I mean I have the sequence form Kings Tide to compare it to so it’s hard to concentrate.
Tension? The stormtroopers missed every shot from like 10ft away as always. That kills any tension
@@jazzi_0453 Sure they’re not hitting, but their shots were still bracketing close to the BB, which for conscripted troops are pretty good
I'm pretty sure Tech is gone. The writers made the callout to clone 99 from Clone Wars with the title of the episode, as well as with Tech's last words, and the whole story of 99 was that he sacrificed himself in the line of duty to save his squad. It would be a disservice to that character's legacy to have his name invoked for anything less than a noble sacrifice in battle.
He made the sacrifice expecting to die though. And 99 didn't plan on dying when he made that risky run.
Remember we all thought echo was gone after basically blown up buy an anti aircraft gun
@@michaelhunting2868 Being blown up and falling to the ground at a height well above 12,000 feet are very different. People have survived explosions like that. People haven't survived falling from that height and hitting things on the way down, AND hitting the ground.
@Tristen If I had to take a guess how he could survive the landing it would be that he landed on water or tree vines
@keybladejedi70 Tree vines can do serious injuries, and could've snapped bones, also the mountains he probably hit on the way down? And the whole water thing is so stupid, this isn't Minecraft. If you jumped out of a plane and hit water with nothing to help with a safe landing, you're dead. Water has an impact, go body flop onto it, it'll hurt a little and you'll feel the impact.
"She's out there in the trenches with the beakers and shit" Absolutely iconic line Eck
Glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed this lol
yeah does he ever swear? for some reason that one really clanged lol
@@CannedFishFiles I don't think he does it very much on his main, but on his podcast and gaming channel he does quite a bit.
I laughed out loud at that it seemed weirdly uncharacteristic

I don't want to believe Tech is dead just because he had the most significant character arc in the season, but it still felt like they were only just getting into his story. It felt cut short too soon.
personally i think tech could be alive for these reasons
we all know star wars brings back a lot of characters
dident see body
they only found his glasses so where did his body go?
we all know the doctor guy is trying to make a clone program so i doubt he would want tech to die when the dr could experiment on him so i think there's a chance the dr picked him up before he hit the ground but that's more of a less likely thing
@@Lord_Imperion55 uhg...🤦♀️
@@faith518 ?
@@Lord_Imperion55 He's just dead. No need for headcanons. Leave that for fanfiction. The story is better without him. I wonder how Season 3 will be.

70% he is dead because that would make story better I agree
I think one of the biggest disappointments over the last few episodes is that there's at least half a dozen RUclips channels that throw spoiler thumbnails online in less than an hour after episodes air knowing there's a lot of people that have to wait for the weekend to watch. It's probably why viewership is dropping.
Finally, yes, I completely agree. And I specifically planned to watch the finale episodes the night they came out to make sure I wouldn't get spoiled, but what do you know, first thing that showed up was not only a spoiling title, but like you said, a thumbnail with the spoiler itself. Now it didnt completely ruin my viewing experience, But c'mon man, it's EXTREMELY frustrating to see these thumbnails. Not everyone can just avoid RUclips until after watching a show.
That's got nothing to do with the show though, it's always happened with everything that's ever released. Anytime a movie, show or game comes out, there's people spoiling it as soon as it comes out. Fallen Order is a good example, with in a day of coming out, there were thousands of videos showing the ending and the darth Vader reveal
@@haggis7919 I actually AVOID RUclips when Bad Batch and Mandalorian drops ... spoilers are a dick move, like walking out of Empire Strikes Back in 1980 saying "WOW, DARTH VADER WAS LUKE'S FATHER, I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING" in a really loud voice.
Especially in a season finale, just keep that shit to yourself.
Gotta love people who cry about spoilers..If people have time to complain about them they have time to watch shows/movies.
@@maurice21781 Some people have lives, Chief. Got stuff to do.
With the female scientist, she never stated she was a clone out right. She tells Omega they are sisters, this could perhaps mean maybe she was an offspring of Jango Fett. Personal theory is that she is trying to help in some ways with the clones, like how she reasoned with Crosshair to not make things worse for himself. She could be helping in some small ways behind the scenes as to not be caught. Also for all we know as of now, Hemlock doesn't know she is a clone or offspring of Jango, and maybe Omega is the first to learn this information which could be her way of earning Omega's trust.
They already said Omega was a clone from the same genetic material from Jango Fett. That's not a secret
Jango’s daughter? That’s a reach if I’ve ever seen one. It’s safer to assume that it’s an other clone
I agree, at least about her being Jango's conventional daughter. She has a normal-sounding first and last name, which seems very out of place for an Imperial clone. Interesting thought that Hemlock might not know, or that she might be trying to minimize harm to the clones while still aiding Hemlock.
@@michaelramon2411 she couldnt be a conventional daughter. if im understanding correctly meaning like she was birthed by an actual mother. shed be wayy to old im really bad with specfic dates but im pretty sure she would be no more than like 10 years old at this point defintely not in her 20s-30s and she porbably wouldnt have been from before because jango said he always wanted a son so he asked the kaminoans to make one, why not just make one himself lol. which i guess you could argue its still a 50/50 chance and he wouldnt be guranteed a son if he were to try again but i feel like its just slimming the odds for practicality if that makes sens, but i do like the idea, i think it would be cool if he had a birthed daughter but from what we know canonically itd be impossible based on the age if jango found a woman during the war and theres no knowledge of any women from before the war especially with him having to request a child instead of just going to make one on his own lol.
Jango Fett had a sister in the Expanded Universe, I wonder if they are bringing her back
I think the significance of the female clone scientist was to show that Omega and the rest of the bad batch never knew the true depth of Kaminoan clone research. The fact that this other female clone has existed for at most as long as Omega has, means that there was so much that was kept clandestine to the Republic, and Omega now realizes that the Kaminoan/Impirial cloning rabbit hole goes much much deeper. I think there is a bit of horror there too, that this clone would not be only okay with, but enthusiastic about experimenting on her brothers. The commandos seem a little more obedient than regs, so them just following orders is more believable, but this scientist clone seems to independently want to perform these duties, which is chilling.
I also want to add that Tech sacrificing his life to save the team was called "plan 99" which IMO isn't referencing Clone Force 99, but is a reference to Clone 99, the janitor who sacrificed himself to save his brothers on Kamino during the siege.
This season was the Crosshair season. Every episode that Crosshair was in had me at the edge of my seat. His character development was beautiful. RIP Tech.
I think the only death of a clone that hit me emotionally like this was Fives, but even with him, I kind of expected it because we knew he had to fail. I wasn't prepared for Tech to die, it was only when he started running back to the tram that I began to get the feeling that it would go wrong. Idk if they'll bring him back. I don't want him to be dead but I also agree that the stakes need to matter. If he's not dead, it needs to be something ugly that happens instead. As much as that would hurt. We need to know there are real consequences.
My sentiments exactly.
I agree. I was thinking about this today actually. I can't tell whether or not Tech is really dead because on one hand I was really surprised they would kill him off, but on the other hand I know they're not afraid of killing off beloved clones. Either way, I think they need to make the consequences clear. If Tech really is dead, they need to make his absence and the grief obvious. If Tech survives, they need to make it clear that it was still a sacrifice for Tech.
Is it just me or did they not heavily imply or even state that they wanted omega as leverage far back in the beginning of the season. I could have sworn that this was said or implied but maybe I'm wrong
100% correct. Omega is simply there for leverage. I thought they made that pretty clear when Lama Su told Hemlock about Omega.
It was definitely shown leverage was why Hemlock and co wanted to find omega, but i bet she’ll also end up being important to the actual work of nala se(?) somehow.
That was the entire point yeah
Cause in the beginning of the season the Empire didn’t want Omega. It was only after we saw Rampart arrested and Hemlock arrive at Tantiss that they started looking for Omega
How on earth can what is perceived as a kids show be more mature and better written than The Mandalorian? The final episode was excellent, despite being spoiled by the YT's before watching I have to admit I was impressed!

So Omega is female genetically. The reasoning behind this that the process the Kaminoans used to create Boba. Back when the first season of Bad Batch came out I had a theory that Boba and Omega were close siblings/twins. While looking to back up this theory I found (On Wookiepedia) a page about different methods of cloning in Star Wars. What I found was that the way that created Boba always resulted in the creation of opposite gender twins.
If this is true this still wouldn’t explain Boba and Omega being twins. At this point in the timeline Boba is a young adult whereas Omega is likely no older than 12. However this would make sense to explain Emerie. Perhaps Boba and Emerie were grown in the lab at the same time, but for whatever reason the Kaminoans kept Emerie a secret whilst Boba was being raised by Jango. Or maybe Jango knew they were twins but rejected Emerie because he only wanted a son. I’d be really interested to see if they go along with this plotline in the next season 😮
@@laurenludovico2301 Just because Jango asked for a son, doesn't strictly mean the Kaminoans made one for him. It's possible that Boba was just genetic stock that they handed off to Jango as part of the contract. It'd make no difference to Fett - he asked for a kid and he got one - and it would save the cloners a bit of extra work.
I feel like people get too upset about "filler' episodes, I get that people want to get on with the main story line but I enjoy getting more time with characters and having more opportunities to flesh them out along with the universe.
Sometimes "filler" is actually "character development."
I think this season did "filler episodes" the right way. Each one developed the characters (except the Kashhyk episode) and they were the exception rather than the rule.
@@kennethwright5664 We also don't know how some of these episodes will play out in the long run. Mando's S1 eps 4, 5, 6 felt like filler episodes but all factored into stories later that season and the next. The CW episodes Clone Cadets could have been seen as filler as it doesn't feature any of the main cast of S1 and S2, but here we are 12 years later still following Echo.
Yes! I aree.
I felt like the episode with the giant mech seemed disconnected, as if it was tying the show to the "Jedi: Fallen Order" and "Survivor" video games because to me the machine almost looked like it had a Zeffo influence. However it was more about developing the Batch's relationship with Phee for her reveal later in the season.
I’m a little bit surprised that it took you until the last episode to realize that this season they were trying to get omega four leverage over Nala Se. Last season’s whole thing was for her dna as a last ditch continuation attempt of the clone trooper program by the kaminoans, the empire would have no reason to concern themselves with her, and one of the previous episodes had Lama Su be pretty direct on Omega being the way to control Nala Se
I'm assuming that Tech isn't dead. Hemlock is collecting as many clones as he possibly can for whatever he's researching, and the Bad Batch's mutations would likely make them prime candidates for testing. Hemlock throwing Tech's goggles at Hunter also suggests that Hemlock found the body attached to said goggles. He obviously has no reason not to lie to Hunter and tell him Tech is dead to make him lash out or lose his composure, or generally just to demoralize him. My guess is Tech is being kept in the research facility, meaning Crosshair, Tech, and Omega are now there, along with all the other captured clones, with the potential for the clone researcher lady and possibly even the Kaminoans to assist in some sort of breakout/rebellion.
Obviously we'll find out in season 3, as technically any of the Bad Batch could be killed. The only clones we know for sure survived all the way to the days of the Rebellion are Rex, Gregor, and Wolffe. So anybody else is theoretically up for getting canned still.
I know I’m commenting 3 months after you wrote this but it’s hilarious to see what people call Emerie when they don’t know her name. “Scientist lady” is the most common rond I’ve seen. I hope u don’t take offense I just wanted to tell you her name Is Emerie and I find it hilarious that people don’t know her name [yea my humor is very broken]
Tech's death and the big reveal of the Mount Tantus scientist had me jaw dropped.
Sorry I’m responding 3 months after you commented this but Techs death was beyond traumatizing but Im happy that Emerie isn’t just a random background character and that my ADHD has a reason to like her so much. Why? I still don’t really know I just got main character vibes from her
I had a feeling omega had more non-altered siblings due to her name. Omega is the last letter in the Greek alphabet, and it was mentioned that boba's original name was alpha, meaning their is potentially 22 other non-altered Jango fett clones out their. 21 if we're not counting the new one
I always saw it as the same way we use Alpha and Omega most often. Either beginning and end, or oposites. Alpha was the male unaltered, Omega was the female unaltered.
@@epion660 I agree, I think it is meant to show the significance of Boba (Alpha) and Omega as the perfect genetic copies (from which, I think, new clones could have been developed from once the original DNA expired)
@Darkflame2308 to me it would make sense that the kaminoans would create several unaltered clones as sort of "test run" before beginning production of the regular clone trooper
I’ve honestly really liked the bad batch from the beginning, it’s been great, and while some episodes have been kinda eh, but then you have episodes like the outpost which are masterpieces
One of the strong shifts in the show was the writing for Omega. She showed herself to be more human in this last half of the season. She is afraid of things. She doesn't always have all the answers. She become one part of the group and less of the child insert character. I never hated her, but she was a bit annoying. This season I actually like her.
It also needs to be said that the animation and music for this show are 10/10.
It's the first time I actually felt a little traumatized after having watched something. I had flashes of his fall while falling asleep and waking up. I mean, it lasted for a few days only, but damn, his death hit me hard. He was my favorite character by far and in my top three SW characters after Luke and Din...
It's just a cartoon.
@@forsakenjones4695 no… it’s a way of life
@@forsakenjones4695 different people take in information differently, I share the same view as you, though I learned to leave them be through the hard way.
One thing that stood out this season for me is every time the Bad Batch fought against clones, they used their weapons set to stun but fired lethal blaster bolts when they faced off with the Proto-Stormtroopers. Then Crosshair stunned the "Sister" during his (Hemlock planned) escape attempt. Now it makes more sense in the way the clones subconsciously try not to harm one another.
Remember, if you don't see a body in-story, they can still be brought back. Tech is probably being held captive by Hemlock, like how Echo was held by the CIS, and the goggles were just used to demoralize the Batch.
i was fully expecting the female scientist to be a clone, not because of the accent, but because of the skin tone, and the way that she seemed to care about crosshair
I think techs death was a very good idea. It shows that while the bad batch is an elite group, they are fighting against the odds and any mission could have casualties. It really raises the stakes and shows that they are not invincible.
I enjoy the filler episodes. It gives an average day in the galaxy. My only complaint is seeing episodes with Echo just like Crosshair. Still a good season.
Forgot to add not seeing
I was hoping that the speculation that Tech was going to die wasn’t true because I resonated with him so much. Even though I wanted him alive, Tech coming back would in my opinion do a disservice.
If he comes back, it should be in a condition that even cybernetics and bacta couldn't fully fix, or solely his battered and broken gear. I think the latter would hit home harder tbh. That would mean the Empire bothered to get Tech's equipment to attack the bad batch emotionally, but left his corpse behind. They would've treated him as a tool, a weapon, even in death.
@@zenora84 He's gonna be the foundation for Dark Troopers. That's 100% where that plot point leads.
@@rookiedrifter4273 That’s plausible and definitely tragic
I think it would be best for him to stay dead, but if any member of the crew could have survived that, it would be him. What are the chances he doesn't have some form of repulsor lift device installed in his armor somewhere?
Tech is my favorite of the Bad Batch. Hurts to see him go like this, but I also don't want it to be a fakeout "he's" actually alive in hiding, trope. That to me would really get in the way of incredible development. Much like it was when Caleb Doom (Kanan Jaris) sacrificed himself to save Ezra and the team in Rebels. It was a huge omg why moment, and it needs to stay that way.
As for Omega, I still think she is unique to the other female clone. I have my suspicions for her, especially since she's not accelerated like the sister clone. She's much more like Boba Fett, which in itself is kinda cool. Just need to see if there is a story for her.
The finale had a really great vibe to it. It has that melancholic dread to it that a lot of other Disney shows have down, that King’s Tide/Clonewars S7/True Colours thing is something I really enjoy.
Especially the half conscious sequence which was ripped straight out of Kings Tide.
I am pretty sure Tech will soon turn out to be alive albeit heavily injured in Bad Batch Season 3.
As much as I want him to, unless there is a very good writer around it is better off if he remains dead and doesn't make his sacrifice in vain
Pull a Darth Maul like in Clone Wars, just without the anger
This is a bit overplayed
They did it with Maul, Palp, and Echo. I was hoping for a bit more character development with Tech before they closed his character, but that's much more realistic and makes for a good plot twist.
I want to see Tech surviving, and Tarkin hunting him down for sport
Season 2 has been very good. The only problems are people that are impatient with storytelling, worldbuilding, and the gross misuse of the word "filler".
Oh, about that "golden rule". The surviving people of Alderaan have a few things to say. Or Han Solo. He fell off a very large structure but we never saw his dead body. Or Plo Koon, Mace Windu, etc.

Loved the season. Crosshair episodes were my favorite but the last two really knocked it out the park 💯💯
Edit: It’s not a perfect show, but it’s still really enjoyable with episodes and moments I revisit.
So underrated. Ive watched it twice thru now, and i cant wait for the next season.
People have been clamoring for an animated show centered around non-force users for a decade.
What is better than this?!?!
@@ericgrimes341 exactly! I wish Disney dint release so many things at the same time because the Bad Batch got overshadowed by the Mandolorian [which Is a fine show] but there is literally no good merch except a couple shirts- it’s sad how underrated it is
I honestly expected Wrecker to die. I was almost certain one of them had to die, partly because we never see them again in later shows in the timeline. Also the line “I’m sorry muscles” was in the teaser for the final 2 episodes, and I thought that made it certain. So say I was shocked someone died would be wrong. To say I was shocked Tech died is all too true.
Tech had to be my favourite character in the show. It really hit me hard when he died. The worst thing about his death for me is that I know he’s not really gone. If he does return, hopefully they do something clever with it that really furthers the plot. Good news is, it might not be some nonsense for how he lives. If he uses the grappling hook well, he could potentially grapple onto a nearby cliff located below the sky trams. If they pull something else with his likely return though, I’ll lose my mind!
I think that Bad Batch is INCREDIBLE! The term “filler” honestly bugs me a bit because like you said, not every episode needs to be directly tying into the main plot. TV shows have had more disconnected episodes for decades, Clone Wars DEFINITELY had them, Rebels, and Mando even has them a little. I think especially when a show has 16 or more episodes in a season, having “filler” episodes should not only be expected, but are often necessary to break up the narrative and tension between episodes heavy on the main plot. Not to mention, “filler” episodes are often the ones that see the characters doing some of the more interesting and or wacky things. I would claim that Bad Batch so far is at least on par with Rebels and Clone Wars if we are talking pound for pound. Obviously some events in those shows are leagues above Bad Batch’s stories. But I think that ALMOST of the Bad Batch episodes are stellar if not perfect.
Only kids 12 and under can call an episode "filler" since this series is targeted at them!
He was my favorite BB member, so on one hand I want him to come back, but on the other, I'm very sick of deaths being faked so much lately. Death is such a big moment in character arcs. Bringing characters back from death feels really cheap
Such a highly underrated show. All "true" star wars fans should watch bad batch. It explains everything that should have been explained in the prequels if they had not dedicated so much time to a love story.
Yeah, I've always had that opinion about TCW. If I were watching it week by week, so much of it would feel like filler, but we're not and it's incredible. I always enjoy these shows more the second time I watch them when I can binge them and don't have to think about what the Internet is going to think
This franchise needs to learn how to let characters die again and doubly so for the fanbase. This stuff that started with Maul needs to stop.
Maul’s return was handled well. But the rest need to stay dead.
Tech’s death: *GRIEF*
Omega’s abduction: *ANGER*
Ending reveal: *Cue Idris Elba coughing from hot wings*
I like tech. It would he nice if he had some kinda jet booster stowed in his back pack.
This season has really blown my mind. It's really peak up there with some of the best of the Clone Wars series and they fixed almost every major complaint I had about season 1. Tech was my favorite character and I genuinely haven't felt this bad about a character dying in so long.
I love the bad batch, and what others call filler, I call character development and story telling.
People who ship Emerrie and Crosshair: *"ABANDON SHIP!"*
Is he really dead, though? No body, I don't believe it. My question is why they needed omega so bad if they had another version of her working with them. Really hope it comes back for another season.
Exactly. Our only "confirmation" of his death came from Hemlock, who we have no reason to trust. Remember, we though Echo died, then he came back.
They needed Omega as leverage for Nala Se to make her work for the empire.
This franchise needs to learn how to let characters die again and doubly so for the fanbase. This stuff that started with Maul needs to stop
O-mee-ga
Emotional manipulation of Nala Se
I think (and hope) that the reason there is no body is simply because he fell like hundreds of meters onto solid rock AND literally had a monorail car dropped on top of him.
There just isn't anything left of him to recover
Thank you for the updates! Always fair on what is coming!
Feel like the death was telegraphed heavily with the mining episode
Absolutely love The Bad Batch, from the their first appearance in the Clone Wars. I really hope your scepticism of Tech's death comes true and that he is still alive, that was a traumatic scene.
i think the purpose of them being female clones in cannon terms is that it shows how the kaminoans were able to manipulate genetics so well, which is important because not only does palpatine want to be cloned, he wants more midichlorians, either that or some outlandish theory of there being a lower chance for there being unforeseen augmentations when cloned
I am supprised Filoni had the restraint to not to have an Ahsoka cameo for two seasons. That being said, I wouldn't be supprised if she would show up in season 3. Half the bad batch is down, and they gonna need some help for the rescue mission. They definatly gonna turn to Rex, who is going to hook up them with someone.
I wish Tech still alive of Bad Batch Season 3
They better not pull some bs where he somehow survived
It wouldn't be Clone Wars season 8 (7:00), it would be that Cpt Rex spin off we've all been secretly wanting for the last decade.
Saw Guerrera just made the list of characters that I love and hate simultaneously. This WHOLE operation turned into a mess because he just can't stop once he starts going. Tech's death, Omega being captured. Both a direct result of Saw being a stubborn ass.
There was too much filler in this season. I feel like it could have been improved a lot if we had seen crosshair a couple more times, and had more payoff for all the crazy stuff thats been hinted at.
Overall I liked the season.
I enjoyed season 2 can't wait for season 3 definitely enjoyed it more than the current mando episodes we've been getting
I'm hoping season 3 starts off where season 2 left off on a dark note. I'm thinking of something along the lines of the remaining members of the Bad Batch capturing a high level Imperial scientist to try to get the location of Mt. Tantus out of him. When they engage his guards, they don't bother setting their blasters to stun. Once they capture the scientist, they make sure to stun him and forcefully remove his electric capsule to ensure he stays alive. Once he comes to his senses, they begin to interrogate him, but when he doesn't tell them anything of value, they don't hesitate to use some enhanced interrogation tactics.
You explained exactly how I felt about the ending of the bad batch Thankyou for putting all your points out there
I still find it weird how people get confused that omega is unaltered. The kaminoans didn't alter her but mutations happen during cloning. The entire bad batch are massively different and even regs have different eyes and hair color. Why is it weird that a chromosome got flipped from XY to XX. With so many changes it makes sense to happen at least occasionally.
I thought that there were obviously some filler episodes that we just had to get through. But for the main plot, I thought that up until the last few episodes they writers weren’t entirely sure what to do with the batch. It felt as though there could have been handfuls of different endings to this season because it didn’t feel like there was one clear direction they were going with.
0:12 Those are Clones in disguise of TK Armors.
It so much watching what happened to Tech. He was my favorite Bad Batcher and seeing him go hit me in the heart as much as Fives or 99’s deaths did. I legitimately shouted “No, not Tech” at my TV on my first watch lol. Plan 99 fellas, best and saddest reference.
First two season of the Bad Batch, pound for pound, are absolutely better than the first two seasons of the Clone Wars. Not that the Clone Wars was at all bad in the beginning, certainly not! But as the tone evolved over time, the show morphed from being squarely “for kids” to having much broader appeal, and being able to tackle darker story arcs. (Mortis, the defense of Mon Cala, Umbara, etc.)
The Bad Batch continues with that more mature tone, and didn’t have to spend a couple season laying groundwork for things to get intense later.
The “filler” episodes in the Bad Batch are conscious choices by the creators, to focus on character development and give the audience a break from the bleaker tone. Whereas filler episodes in early clone wars were often… just kinda there.
But at the end of the day, the massive success of Clone Wars in its early seasons is the foundation the Bad Batch is built upon.
It's no Rebels, but it is still a very good show. Crosshair's theme was AMAZING!!!
People calling all those episodes filler need to understand you need character building to have big paid offs, it's the reason Andor spends two episodes of characters talking before getting to the plot. Stories require building.
Well said.
Thank you for having the arrow pointing to tech.
I couldn’t see the character that was at the center of the screen
The only way I will accept tech returning is if the empire turn him into some sort of dark trooper and use him as a villain with no hope of saving him and the last resort is for the bad batch to have to kill him which would be even more heart breaking than what we got now.
It was quite sad and a shocker I won’t see Tech again- It’s been so sad since Fives’ death-
It kind hurts me tbh to see the smartest clone sacrifice himself..😭
Techs probably still alive and we’re gonna see something like echo with tech having robotic body parts like a robot legs like darts maul. After all tech is really good with technology he could have been saved and repaired himself
@@hibye4469 maybe- but we never see the bottom of the earth- it all foggy- I don’t know if he landed on the water and lived or slammed to the ground dead
@@hidden_roni8293 cmon it’s Disney, all you need to do to survive a fall is to hit a tree and a branch and your all good
@@hibye4469 But the mountains too. Eriadu is known for its mountainous terrain.
He fell from well over 12,000 feet, he's dead.
@@CommunityFan i know. I want him to be dead and think he should die, but I know dinsey will pull off the same thing they did with echo. I mean echo practically got disintegrated and still survived
Keep Tec dead, that’s all I ask. It’s a good send off to his character.
I agree
Man… Eck that doctor at Mount Tantus was soooo obviously a clone, not only her accent but her soft spot for Crosshair. I genuinely thought it was already an unspoken fact by the finale
Honestly I was so happy when they revealed Omega has a sister because from the second I saw Emerie i immediately liked her and had a feeling she wasn’t just a random background character! Also her accent being similar to Omegas completely went completely over my head and I dint even realize the connection until after the reveal/confirmation 😂 Her being related to Omega brings up a lot of new questions. Are there other people/clones like her? Is she even a clone? She could be Fetts biological daughter or she could be half human half clone. It would make sense that the Kaminion would create clones to assist them and make ing groups of female clones would be an effective way to keep their existence off the radar. Another question is who else knows about this? I doubt Hemlock would like having his main assistant being a clone considering he wants mindless soldiers and not people/clones who can think for themselves. Overall I’m both unbelievably excited and nervous about season 3 especially because it’s the last least. Also I kinda want Tech to stay dead because he sacrificed himself for his squad, his family. He died a noble death and it would ruin his sacrifec if he isn’t dead. I love Tech so I’m torn between wanting him to be alive and wanting him to actually be dead 😭
[also incase anyone doesn’t know Emerie Is the female clone scientist who was revealed to be Omegas sister. I see most people who don’t know her name calling her “the scientist lady” and is beyond hilarious to me 😂]
Honestly they gave a mediocre excuse for a season finale.
call of duty also holds true to the "if you don't see them dead, they aren't dead" idea
I don't think Hemlock had any idea about Omega and only wanted her for leverage. The question that I have is why he had any reason to believe she was still alive. Admiral Rampart went through a lot of effort to cover up the fact they all didn't die on Kamino.
That outro never fails to make me smile...😊
All I am asking for is that Tech will be in the same sort of situation that Echo was in, barely alive, and being used. But at the end, Tech will need to die, to maybe save the Batch again, or perhaps even redeem Crosshair somehow, and Omega will have a part to play in it ~ Come to terms with Tech's death
it’s ridiculous how the animated show feels grittier, is more realistic and has more consequences than the life action star wars media as of late
5:12 The PM just this season said that Nala Se has an attachment to Omega and that through her they could control Nala Se…
Yooo I’ve been waiting for this
I think what’s going to happen is that tech will end up becoming part of some monstrous conglomeration that the imperial cloners try to come up with, or possibly similar to echo, be found tortured, in some kind of a testing tube or similar. There’s also the chance that they will use tech to create some kind of a true android, similar to General grievous to have a living, being at the center of a mechanical machine.
Bit late to the party, but what if Omega and her supposed sister are nonidentical twins? Perhaps if cloning starts with an more or less regular egg then maybe the Kamioans killed off any eggs that split into 2 but Nala Se keep one as an experiment and this is the end result.
I love this show and all the characters. Omega especially makes it great for me because of the way she is and her story arc. Was shocked about Tech, but hope he survived. Can't wait to see what happens with Crosshair. If you have paid close attention to Omega you might have noticed she has a special ability that allows her to see the overall strategy of the Batch's missions. Her loyalty to the team is splendid and creates all sorts of feels. This show of all the Star War side shows has captured me the most.
This really feels like a fitting sequel to the Clone Wars as a conflict. We get an insight into the dark complexities of cloning while also leading up to a clone uprising. The best way for this show to end is for Vader to squash this rebellion and it'll explain why Rex is in hiding in Rebels.
You know it's only a matter of time until we see the Vader and stormtrooper models from TCW finale reused. This is exciting!
I love how no one is talking about Director Krennic and his Stardust cameo in episode 15
I can’t wait to see Omega’s reunion in “The Book Of Captain Rex”!!!
I’m still pissed about BOBF. I do like the new season of Mando so far and I do like the Grogu development. If they wanted to bring back Grogu they could have at least done it in Mando.
They went full "The Empire Strikes Back" with the ending of the second season...
Anyone seeing a pathern?
I will not think Tech is dead until I see a body. I don’t think him coming back would be a disservice. It could be as good as when Maul came back.
"In there; in the trenches with the beakers n shit."
I think that will forever be one of my favorite lines from you lmao
We see another scientist that looks very similar to the one confirmed to be a clone, I suspect there are quite a few more of them working there.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: as a Star Wars fan born the year after ROTJ came out, my entire childhood was almost entirely devoid of new Star Wars content, and there was virtually no hint or hope of anything coming until I was about 13 years old. The Phantom Menace came out when I was in high school.
We are all so happily spoiled by the amount (and often the quality) of Star Wars content we regularly get now. Think of everything that's come out in the last 15-ish years, compare that to 1983-1999 when nothing new came out on TV or in theaters, and all we had were terrible VHS tape recordings of IV, V, and VI that were abridged, had commercials, and didn't have a widescreen aspect ratio.
Now everything is available in HD or better to stream on any device anytime, anywhere. We have it so good now. What a time to be a Star Wars fan.
People undervalue "filler" episodes. They add depth of field to the world being built.
Tech could have cabled to the car support structure when he was falling. There would have been plenty of time during the fall to maneuver toward the tower as he fell.
I had a feeling that tech wasn't coming back when there's was that good bye before they took off
Looking at the scenes from the latest season of the Bad Batch, and then the early seasons of Clone Wars, it is startling how far the art direction and quality of the CG has come.
I’ve really enjoyed this series. And this season was even better than I expected.
The clone sister revelation, coupled with Scorch being named in the credits, makes me wonder if they're working off of the Legends "Imperial Commando" book's idea that the commandos are working at the facility under cover to get their life acceleration altered or something similar.
the kaminoans have the Specific tech to make perfect clones, accelerate aging and customize them for a specific role. Omega being female is about as complicated to them as it is to BMW to make a white car instead of a black one
Tech survived the fall
Loving where it’s going
