I’m surprised there’s never been a TV movie about this story. But kudos to them for not dramatizing and turning their story into a soap opera for a Movie of the Week.
So glad to see that David Soul showed up to the benefit to support his old buddy, Paul.
Couldn't even see him, the video is jumping around too much.
She was a fighter and hero. I thank you for posting this. Quality is not the best but the interview is important to watch as she was one of many aids activists.
What a warrior.
Very sad but a very brave and courageous wmen and couple! I respect them so much.
Bless them❤
Such a tragedy. I never really believed Paul got over the loss of his wife and daughtet. 😢
I don't think he did either. He remarried 2 years after Elizabeth's death but he was still grieving; not just her death but Ariel's. Thanks to Elizabeth, their son, Jake survived and is now 39 years old and is doing very well.
The segment starts off with a wrong statement - Elizabeth herself states she saw a small news article about the risk shortly after getting home from having Ariel. She mentions calling her doctor and having her worry brushed off.

Almost unwatchable. Lousy quality.
Just listen to it
It was so easy for straight women to relate to her.
Very bad quality
Very sad story though. I just listened. Sad to watch (i'm Linda btw from NL)
