Cheers buddy thanks for showing us newbies how to do what was a very easy strip down looking forward to the next stage. As always thank you for taking the time to do and share the videos.
Hi, thanks for viewing and taking the time to ask a question. I did not use any tool to prise the two pieces apart. They fell apart in my hand after removing the two screws. I have done this operation many times on these models and have, from time to time, needed to grip each part and pull them apart . I hope that helps and answers your question.
No worries mate. If it does come to having to use a tool I always suggest 'softest option' first....so something like a very small screwdriver or, if you have one, a small metal paint stir stick as it has no sharp edges. Good luck
It is a 1/50th scale model....so it's big. Can it be taken apart for a code 3 project? You bet ya

Thanks for watching. These are a great way to start code 3 simply because they are bigger.
Very interesting Roger, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it. Much more to come in 2021. All the best to you and your loved ones Chris

You don't explain what tool you used to prise the two pieces apart.

Why are showing apart
Some people like to take these buses apart to repaint them, like I did to make the green bus in the other video
