Psalms 46:1-11
'God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah Come, behold the works of the Lord , Who has made desolations in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah'
Romans 8:26-28
'Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. I thought this was the case and He was amazing but I read Psalm 78 and He sounds scary, terrifying, monster that wants to be called my loving Father? He truly does not sound as good or kind and loving as I thought anymore.
@@Nicole06042that's a lie from satan. 😢 God truly loves you, He died for you, He was beaten and flocked for you, He wore a crown of thorns that stuck into deep into his head. He had nails put into his hands and feet, he was cursed for you. For every man that hangs on a tree is cursed. He shed His blood so that you would be justified before a Holy God! And not only but that so you can go to Him at anytime and ask for knowledge, or help in time of need. He did all these things for you in your place. So you wouldn't have to. You don't have to strive for any of it just receive it. That's actually being obedient to God is raising your hands in Thanksgiving and praise! I know sounds to good to be true, that's why so many struggle, because it is the truth! And when you realize what He did for you, and how much more He has for you, you actually won't want to leave His presence. No one deserves it, but anyone can receive it! Love you! Ask the Lord to fill your heart. Love to All the saints eph 1:15
