- The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLCs have wrapped up and they have some great new Pokemon! But it felt a LITTLE bit like there were some Pokemon Game Freak forgot?
In this video I design Fakemon for a Paradox Keldeo and Ho-oh, an evolution for Appletun and Flapple (since Dipplin got an evolution) and a first stage to Duraludon/Archaludon.

One reason that we didn’t get Paradox Keldeo would be because it would cause a chain reaction. If Keldeo gets one, then we’d need a Ho-oh to balance it out. And if Ho-oh got one, so should Lugia. And if Lugia got one, so would the legendary birds.
I think that would actually be really cool
Just giving us a Galarian Lugia like we should have had all along would suffice.
or maybe instead of Ho-oh, they’d go with an Eevee
though that would be confirmation to many of the Eeveelution Beast theory

If anything, it should have been the Lake Trio to get paradox forms. Maybe they'd finally get typings of their own other than Psychic.
Dwelludon is very cute, however... The theme with Duraludon and Archaludon seems to be steel-heavy, very urban structures, not necessarily places people live. I like the idea that their pre-evo would be based a scaffold or maybe a metal playground
You know when a fan design is good when they make you angry that they aren't canon
I had the idea of turning Appletun into a Pie A Lá Mode (pie with vanilla ice cream). Keeping its Grass/Dragon type but giving it an ability that either is an ice type version of Thermal Exchange, or an ability that treats it as if it were Ice type when Snow is on the field. Allowing it to reap the benefits of the defense boost and the effects of Aurora Veil. I call it "Best Served Cold"
My thoughts for Paradox Ho-oh: make it fire/fairy and call it Radiant Wing
If they added keldeo they need to add ho-oh.
If they add ho-oh they need to add Lugia.
If they add lugia they need to add the bird legendaries.
If they add the bird legends they MAY need to add mew and mewtwo
They never gave Ho-Oh a Shadow version, only Lugia did so it wouldn't be the first time only one of them gets something. And Mew and Mewtwo aren't connected to the birds so I dunno how that would make sense 💀 I just really wanted Iron Keldeo, he's one of my fav Mythicals

They should have used the genies. If they had they could have completed both sets with only 4 each. That being said, enamerous was only just introduced so it makes sense they wouldn't play that card again so soon. Plus I can't imagine any way to make a decent paradox genie
Or we go with the Eeveelution Theory and get a Paradox beastified Eevee as counterpart to Paradox Keldeo
legendary birds already have galarian forms so just add a regional lugia

I really liked the Duraladon prevo. I didn’t know Arch’s BST is 600. It really does feel like it needs one.
On the other side, Ho-oh’s paradox felt sorta busy imo. Cool, but my eyes weren’t sure where to sit
I am always up for some more Applin evolutions which I am surprised that they didn’t make Hydrapple a Poison / Dragon Type because the Hydra has venom that can kill even Gods & the Poison Apple 🍎 can be a reference

I think for the Ancient Beasts and Future Swords I'd like to see their "4th members" just be the Imagined Pokemon with the colors of Ho-oh and Keldo respectively, giving us the newly created Pokemon Rainbow Beast and Iron Sword. I did originally want Keldo's counterpart to be a future version of what it will grow into and this works with that very nicely. I also love Dweludon, looks like it drops the cannon through but its very cute and unassuming so it gets a pass.
I like this format: quick intro, speedpaint of designs, right to yhe point. Gained a sub.
Paradox Keldeo and paradox Ho-oh would make such cool mythicals, maybe do a single event where scarlet players get Ho-oh via mystery gift while violet players get Keldeo and name them something like Iron Sword (since Keldeo is the only one with the sword out and visible) and Flying Light
Your skills on designing has improved so much,I like all of them.
On trait of the Tarasque is its six legs which is also a trait of the codling moth's larva, aka apple worm. I think the Appletun evo should have one more pair of legs, at least to make the Tarrasque inspiration more obvious. (The Tarasque is French though, nothing to do with any of SV's three regions.)
I would love it they completely gave 3 stages to all the evolutions but each is focus on different aspects.
You’re really good at making them look like real pokemon designs.
Perhaps the Flapple evolution could be dragon flying type and the evolution of Appletun could be a dragon ground type.

Scarlet Pokédex Entry: This Pokémon has close family relations to Drampa. It often gives young Drampas tasty jam from its back.
Violet Pokédex Entry: whenever someone is having a bad day, it would let them eat its pie-like back as a snack. It feels no pain because of the jam stuck to its body.

I think part of Appleton's charm is that its cute. If it got an evo, I think it would need to retain part of that cute aesthetic.
Flapple and Appletun certainly deserve new evos, they're cool conceptually but their stats are a bit too lacklustre to work out, just like Dipplin was.
The tarrasque is probably better known as a D&D creature, but introducing people to surprising mythological roots is still cool.

Dweludon is perfect and I’m now questioning why we never got a Duraludon pre-evolution? Now we cry for the lost mon Dweludon! May it find a way into the official lore of Pokémon someday

Abilities: Well-Baked Body, Regenerator, or the Hidden Ability of Piping Hot (Thick Fat & Flame Body)
Wyrmapple - Grass/Dragon
Abilities: Harvest, Regenerator, or the Hidden Ability of Hollowed Core (Disguise/Ice Face but during sun)
Iron Saber - Water/Psychic
Signature Move: Depth Saber, Water Type
Base Power 50. Every time it is used successively, its power will double, up to a maximum of 200.
If used in Electric Terrain it will remove the effects of Protect, Reflect, Light Screen, and Aurora Veil from the opponent.
Rising Beak - Dragon/Flying (how about Fire/Fighting?)
Signature Move: Revival Blessing (Ho-Oh needs to get this move if it's ever brought back).

I feel like that Archaludon could evolve even further but into what I don't know.
I am surprised the past Ho-Oh isn't a pterodactyl.
But I was also surprised the official future Hydreigon wasn't a tank, so I suppose that's alright. Doesn't the change the fact that all of these are great regardless ^^
Appletun with an eviolite is a scary thought.
Instead of ho oh we could have gotten a paradox celebi since both it and keldeo are mythical pokemon and then we could get Starter quartet with the beasts(electric grass water fire)
Duraludon also can’t be a pseudo due to a lesser known trait shared between all pseudo legendaries; being in the “Slow” levelling rate
If Taraple existed it would 100% be my favourite Pokémon.
If they added Keldeo then it would be an uneven distribution of paradoxes

If we got a fourth Sword of Paradox’s and then we’d need a fourth Beast Dino, this could’ve been a great moment to introduce a fourth Beast but it’s teased as we wouldn’t know it’s present form until the next gen or at least the next game like a legends or a let’s go

In HOME, Hydrapple is somehow considered an Applin evolution anyway. If you transfer it, it will clear a challenge called "Register all 4 Applin evolution"
I was more thinking that Keldeo would be split between Base form in Violet, and Resolute in Scarlet. Because pulling Ho-oh in would exclude Lugia.

Do you guys think that duraludon should have a pre evolution plus flapple and appletun to have an evolution in a future gen 10 game?
I do, one because we haven't gotten a cross-gen pseudo and Duraludon is being set up to potentially be that, and Flapple and Appletun getting evos to match Hydrappl would be amazing. Tarrappl is n mazing idea for an Appletun evo as Appletun itself is based on a drake, but while Flapple turning into a wyvern makes sense it's actually based on an amphithere which is a winged serpent. Something that would fit better as a Flapple evo would be something based on like Quetzlecoatl or Kukulkan, or simply a feathered serpent. A name for it could be like Quetzappl or Applecoatl.
I would like if the swords of justice and the beast(with ho oh and keldeo)both got future and past paradox forms instrad of only one

For the Ho-oh, I think you should have gone with less of a beak, and more of a dinosaur mouth, to kind of mirror actual bird evolution.

Most Japanese players still consider duraludon's evo in what they call "the 600 club" which is the psudos.

They don't need to also be grass dragon, the flapple evolution could have been grass flying and the appleton evolution could be dragon fighting
I feel like he could have made the ho-oh paradox pokemon not dragon as it fire type could have been enough to warrant that it was somewhat of a dragon or wild beast, just take charazard for example, he was never dragon until mega evolution but he still looks like a dragon

First off not just grass dragon but you can use fairy fire and poison for applen
Tarraple could become a Dragon Normal type in my opinion and get a new ability called Sweetfeast ( vegetarian but eats up fairy attacks ) Flapple's evolution could become Flying/grass with a ability called Draconic Aspect (adding stab to dragon type attacks and converts flying moves into Dragon type giving it basicly a differnt defensive typing and some sort of levitate) and i think u forgot a name for it i would say Flappwing would fit.

Duraludon (Idk if it's right) design is very ridiculous, it's a building. Hope they can go back to Skarmory or Steelix designs for Steel types.
I don't think game freak will ever give a regional form or the like to legendary covers because it will ruin the special impression that has been attached to a pokemon game title and instead feel like a regular legendary, but maybe if the new upgraded form seems to be cool like most legendary covers now, especially if there is a remake.
