Mike Dula Yes sir and those are just the 4 eyed foxes I have I also have a 92 GT forest green On grey and two 94 gt's. I'm a south Texas mustang fanatic!!!
Dunno. The font looks a bit off on those decals. You'd think LMR would get them right, but they also forgot the hi-beam indicator so I guess they're more interested in being first to market than being accurate.
I believe the rotating assemblies on the 86s are a lot weaker than the later efi 5.0s because of the flat top pistons and lighter crank so turboing the stock bottom end would be sketchy at best. By the time you address all the issues with turboing it(speed density, built t5, built bottom end) you're still stuck with a block that can hardly handle 500 horse. For cheaper an LS swap would start you out at almost 500 but if your a die hard ford guy a 351 is probably going to be your best bet if you want to turbo a thing
nice work mike!!!. I need some help with wiring Asap. my 85 was chopped up pretty good. I need to see the ignition wire where it goes into the clutch safety switch. or I am going to nascar my whole car and do toggle switches.
Hey Mike, I was checking out the two speedo stickers you were showcasing in this video and it looks like the one you installed has yellow KM/h lettering and the one you discarded has orange KM/h lettering. To me, the orange matches a bit better with the overall, however I'm not sure which one is stock...or even if they were two different colors. It could have been video lighting. Great video, regardless! Thanks
Looks great man. Only Q I have is why not do the 140 sticker? Change the speedo gear and works fine. So easy to kill that 85 MPH! LOL! Keep up the good work
Great video .... and I’m subscribing to see more awesome videos like this one .... question for ya , I have a 86 lx with those gauges and I want to re do them as well with those stickers from lmr, but is there a way to calibrate them ?? My gas is way off and want to dial them right in
Not sure if they can be calibrated. They are notorious for being off, might try a new voltage regulator in the dash. This is responsible for accuracy, this goes bad the needles can be all over the place. lmr.com/item/LRS-10804A/1979-86-Mustang-Instrument-Cluster-Voltage-Regulator
You might consider adding in LED's for your instrument cluster. Seen a few at CJ pony parts. Way brighter than the old bulbs. Going to be doing it to my '93.
Did you mean you polished the clear plastic cover over the gauges when you said the gauge lenses and did you just use normal paint compound and polish?
+Tom J - yeah, i polished the plastic clear cover. I have 3m polish, want to use a fine or medium compound like swirl mark remove. Or just a standard cleaner polish type wax. Treat it like a plastic headlight lens
Mike Dula that holly kit seems nice also it depends on how far you wanna build your motor power wise maf only hold so much power they say I'd go mega or holly
Nice Job Mike! Its the small details that make the difference.
Wow great job on freshening up the gauges.
never disappoint! made a huge difference
Hey Mike, nice watching the Mustang again
The UNO cracks me up every time!
Nice video Mike, I couldn't remember how to take that cluster out to change the bulbs, I might as well upgrade the cluster faces too.
Finally found someone working on an 86. I noticed the harbor freight book. Ha all utubers use them
Hell yeah man! Sometime a man needs a cheap tool...glad your here, welcome.
Good job. Thanks for doing this
Great video bro! Love your stang
I love 4 eyed foxes so much I have three of them. A 79 , 85 gt , 86 gt ! 👍
Thanks! Man you are a 4 eye fan!
Mike Dula
Yes sir and those are just the 4 eyed foxes I have I also have a 92 GT forest green On grey and two 94 gt's.

If I had 7 foxes Im pretty sure I'd be divorced lol
Alright, I'll check them out!! thanks

+Ray Pursell - Ray, I'm not home near my car now, post up on foureyedpride.com in the forums under elecrical. Those guys are a huge help there.
Where did you buy the kit? I need a 170MPH though...
Hey Mike, I was checking out the two speedo stickers you were showcasing in this video and it looks like the one you installed has yellow KM/h lettering and the one you discarded has orange KM/h lettering. +Johnny Locke - I need to double check. Might just be the camera though, I swear both were orange.
Looks great man. Only Q I have is why not do the 140 sticker? Change the speedo gear and works fine. So easy to kill that 85 MPH! LOL! Keep up the good work
Man, would love to know more about how to do this. I have a matching 3.73 gear in the trans, so there is a speedo gear I could change? Thanks!

Also thanks for subscribing! Hope you can find these somewhat useful.
Awesome , thanks for the tip !!
How are the over lays holding up? Wondering if any of them bubbled up or any king of problems.
Zero issues at all. No bubbling, no fading, still very happy with the fresh clean look too.

Mother's polish works well for cleaning up and polishing clear plastics. Works great on headlights.
Mike Dula Thanks my new edge has some fine scratches in the cover I never thought about polishing it though I'm definitely gonna give it a shot
I just did this on my 85 GT. I went with the white overlays. Three years later and still no hole for the bright light indicator.😞
Man! Good to know lol. Very odd they do this without that hole cut.
my gauges lights are terrible... way too dim....
and i have a blinker indicator bulb out i think....
what options are there?
Funny you mention. ruclips.net/video/cwnEIDb0OxE/видео.html
Exelente work could you tell me the part number of the kit or what page I get it thanks
Late model restoration
lmr.com/products/79-93-Mustang-Speedometer-Face
thank you very much, you do not know how long I've been looking for that. I'm from venezuela and I'm restoring a 1985 Mustang that I recently bought
Do you still have the 8000 RPM tachometer sticker? That’s all I’m looking for if you’d like to sell it.
So weird because mines got a 130 speedo? Is 85 stock? I'm confused!
Yeah 85 is stock for a GT or 4 banger. 130 I think was on the SVO's stock though and the police interceptors. I'd love to swap mine to a 130mph
@@HOUSEOFDULA ah, previous owner must of swapped it, explains why my speedometer doesnt read accurate speeds at all
Donde lo puedo conseguir
En advance auto parts
Me interesa mucho 🙏
On3 turbo kit?
Looking at it, yep! But will likely build block up first, and find a good ECU that I can tune and will grow with the power needs.
Right I just ordered Stage 2 turbo cams for my 03 gt nice thing is the 5.0 is a lot cheaper to build lol you gonna get the cobra comp?
Nice! Not sure if I want to do a standard MAF swap or go Megasquirt PNP
Mike Dula that holly kit seems nice also it depends on how far you wanna build your motor power wise maf only hold so much power they say I'd go mega or holly
Megasquirt pnp2 is what i just bought! i Love it!!!
Coyote swap!?
+anthony 1 - Man i wish, it a lot of work to get a coyote to fit. And its still pretty expensive to do it. Plenty of HP can be made from a SBF
Unoooooooooooo🏁✌️🤣
OH MAN lol so old school. I appreciate that haha
grab a hood next you have the money don't be cheap
+Shawn West - cowl hood?
Mike Dula man there's so many to choose from my black 92 gt knows the story love the show
first?
lilsammywasapunkrock uno! lmao
+ponie1992 - Nice!
Mike Dula haha, had to!
Its wierd and random as hell, and thats why I love him! He ONLY ever does that when I record Mustang vids for RUclips.
What's funny is your reaction. Funny because I know exactly how you feel lol.
