- Well the karts are finally here! Unfortunately Gosport gets all the hand-me-downs so we’re stuck with 3rd hand karts with old batteries. But they’re still fun! Very different to drive than the petrol karts. I doubt this time will stick for long as it was set during the first Speed 4 event. I’ll post something other than Gosport soon I promise 🤣

For some reason my comment got deleted about the tips stuck between 31.4-31.7 and im back on my other, and also I watched your video a few times and looked at what you did and went from a 31.7 in the first session and 31.3 in the second
Have you got any tips for me too, I have been electric twice and I am stuck in the 31.1-31.3 gap and I don’t know how to get faster my line is good, my braking points are also good. I was wondering if it might be to do with rotating the kart in some way, or leaning maybe I’m not sure though?
Have you noticed any track changes?
One of the marshalls said they were making small changes to the track but that looks untouched.
Nothing from when they were petrol. They now have a black flag lane near the pit exit but it doesn't affect the racing line at all :)
What does the (speed 4) mean in the title?
usually at rental kart places with electric karts they can have a remote with switches the top speed, speed 4 is usually the highest, but they do it for like yellow lights or for sessions with people who arent very comfortable with driving fast
@@general_jay7992 Basically hit the nail on the head. Speed 4 is only used in elite events, which are held on some Thursday nights. Other events the karts are on Speed 3 which is slightly slower.
