Let's be real, today's modern mumble rap has been copying 3 six Mafia from the beginning. They deserve more respect, they were trap rappers before trap rappers existed.
im pretty sure bizzy said in hell sent on the faces of death album "im dogging the triple six, its death by the sword, i told satan that im killin em through the ouija board." towards the end i believe, and thats '93.
I grew up in these times and I think they just had similar styles but they was also so different.I wish they would have done more together .I love Bone and 3six for shore
Fuk yeah. Smoke Out Loced Out, Serial Killaz, Backyard Posse, work. The original Devil's Playground. Murderers and Robbers and all those Volume albums. Those productions for Skinny Pimp, Gangsta Black, Lil Fly, etc etc etc. A whole catalog.
Krayzie was not about to get into Bizzy recklessness...krayzie and Dj Paul got an album together they are about to drop...krayzie was chilling thinking dollar over bizzy hurt feelings
There's a few more not well known tracks that acknowledge this beef. Playa Fly disses bone at the end of his song "Playaz in da House" over the Vibe interview and tongue twisting. Also, on the track "Mo Murder" from the first Mo Thugs album, Krazie disses three 6 after his first verse during the transition. You gotta listen carefully to catch it. Finally, don't forget "Lay It Down" by Koopsta Knicca.
In reference to your point about Mystic Stylez coming out before/after that concert....Triple 6 had (and a bunch of other Memphis artists) tons of mix/low quality cassette tapes out. I went to college at Mississippi State in 95 (my roommate was from Little Rock) and he put me/us all on Triple 6, Playa Fly, Shake Junt etc. There was a Tear Da Club Up version that was more popular than the one on the album. The first time I heard it played at a college party EVERY dude and chick was gangsta walkin and pushing each other. Lol. Long story short...I think their presence regionally was there. Not on the level of 8 Ball & MJG, but up there.
Bizzy also said on Thugs Cry "I'm Gambino in the walking dead, woke up on the wrong side of the bed Bible of survival Triple 6 rivals Triple 6 rivals"..
I seriously think lord infamous is the greatest rapper because he mastered the triplet flow when everyone in Memphis at the time was using it and so was bone. And now, triplet flow is very prominent in today’s rap and I still don’t think anyone can do it like infamous.
As a fan of both, I don’t think people truly understand or give credit to Three Six for the imprint they’ve left in rap. So much of todays music contains samples from them. Also, lord infamous birthed the rapping in triplets style that everyone uses today. 3-6 are definitely visionaries. The rap game Rolling Stones. Edit: LaChat was also a female member. “It’s my baby mama, yeeeeaint know”
That beef started over some shit Bone Thugs N Harmony said about Memphis rappers in a magazine. If you don't believe me, go and listen to Tommy Wright III song "Thuggish Ruggish Bustas"!
@@justinshields7446 'Bunk Ass Town' it was in a summer issue of VIBE magazine around the time E.1999 Eternal came out...they had army fatigues on the cover

Flesh got locked up for aggravated assault with a AK before they blew up, he been in the group.
That's on me. I should've phrased that differently. I just meant in terms of appearing on "Faces of Death" and early stuff in the group.
My two favorite 3-6 albums are probably Body Parts and Ch.2 World Domination. Favorite track right now is probably playa hataz but it’s always changin lol. Haven’t listened to as much bone thugs but East 1999 is my fav track. Love your channel!
My favorite was mystic stylez
Fo the love of cheese
Mystic stylez, the end , chapter 2 world domination you can't forget sixtysix sixtyone when the smoke clears I still bump that until this day
The End🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾
@@patwebb882 hell yeahh walk up to yo house is top 5 mafia songs for me
The fact that they just got into a squabble on stage at Verzuz lol ..
What about that fact?
Let's be real, today's modern mumble rap has been copying 3 six Mafia from the beginning. They deserve more respect, they were trap rappers before trap rappers existed.
I been saying it for years I love three 6 I listen to bone too doe
Don't blame 3 6 for the garbage that is rap today. These youngsters sound nothing like it
Facts!! Everyone is copying off 3-6
Infamous killing them folks 💯💯💯
From the grave on folks he is.
Lord infamous was the absolute best u right
Bone Thugz and Harmony has been my favorite rap group. I made sure to attend every single show in Southern California
I’m from TX so we grew up on 36 they was real cool wit pimp c too 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Only video out there on their beef. Thanks for the deep dive 🤘🏽
❤❤
im pretty sure bizzy said in hell sent on the faces of death album "im dogging the triple six, its death by the sword, i told satan that im killin em through the ouija board." towards the end i believe, and thats '93.
Good memory bro he did
I grew up in these times and I think they just had similar styles but they was also so different.I wish they would have done more together .I love Bone and 3six for shore
No Shorts No Losses one of the greatest showcases of lyricism and flow in all of hip hop, big respects to Bone s/o 3-6
Lord infamous was always the mvp. Fan of both groups. Great video
When they said three 6 rivals spitting fire they meant that they're the rivals of three six that spit fire... meaning themselves
Three 6 have a whole career worth of underground mixtapes b4 Mystic Styles/ '95.. check out the DJ Paul Combat Jack interview..
@@justinshields7446 Paul n Juice r Mix Tape and HipHop Legends all that shit slaps to this day.
Three Six Mafia - Killaz creepin thru the night, Be A Witness, late night tip and walk up to your house
Bone thugs- crossroads
Right Bone thug's only had one song
Real shit man wish and krayzie seem like the most chill out of bone fr
Krayzie was not about to get into Bizzy recklessness...krayzie and Dj Paul got an album together they are about to drop...krayzie was chilling thinking dollar over bizzy hurt feelings
Layzie seems more chill
Bone ❤️ I’m a native CLEVELANDER so I stay supporting my hometown boys.
N fine too
CLEVELAND IS THE CITY WHERE WE COME FROM SO RUN RUN
Do Or Die - Bustin Back
Twista & The Speedknot Mobstas - Crook County (Bone Crusher)
Crucial Conflict - Back Against The Wall
All Bone Disses
It's crazy because they were.kinda the same with the dark vibe and aesthetics the harmonizing triplet flow but they were also totally different.
The motif similar but 36 stretch their rhymes out, few words. It was different originally though with Infamous
Gangsta Boo is my wife 😭😭😭
Got me addicted my guy. Ty for these great videos and information THE FACTS! XTOWN, OHIO!!!
I always believed koopsta came with the harmony style first but I could be wrong I never looked to deep into it.
You broke this down smooth 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Best Verzuz I seen in a long time. This show was Legendary...straight 🔥🔥🔥
I met DJ Paul and Scarecrow back in 2006 when Paul owned a club in Memphis.
Ricky is is Paul's nephew.
I seriously think lord infamous is the greatest rapper because he mastered the triplet flow when everyone in Memphis at the time was using it and so was bone. And now, triplet flow is very prominent in today’s rap and I still don’t think anyone can do it like infamous.
Exactly they can’t you’re correct Skinny’s Nobody Crosses me is a classic to us the TN?
i'm happy the timing of this video combined with the bizzy bone on-stage incident resulted in some views for clout cancun. you deserve it
As a fan of both, I don’t think people truly understand or give credit to Three Six for the imprint they’ve left in rap. So much of todays music contains samples from them. Also, lord infamous birthed the rapping in triplets style that everyone uses today. 3-6 are definitely visionaries. The rap game Rolling Stones.
Edit: LaChat was also a female member. “It’s my baby mama, yeeeeaint know”
Man.. I had to come back to this after the verzuz🔥🔥🔥🔥
@1:47 that's what did it there, I remember when I was little and Bone was not welcomed to Memphis at all, Layzie did that.
That beef started over some shit Bone Thugs N Harmony said about Memphis rappers in a magazine. If you don't believe me, go and listen to Tommy Wright III song "Thuggish Ruggish Bustas"!
Called Memphis a bunpkin town.
@@justinshields7446 'Bunk Ass Town' it was in a summer issue of VIBE magazine around the time E.1999 Eternal came out...they had army fatigues on the cover
It is lmao
I wonder what would T- Rock, K- Roc and Lord Infamous had to say about this ? Rest up 6 Mafia Legends.
Killa klan!!
I think t rock still around
Shits crazy how big these 2 groups were and are on my Rez, Pine Ridge. Been bumping their music since the early 90s.
I was waiting for this
Respect both camps. Both are legendary.
Triple Six Mafia🐐- N2 Deep, Motivated, Late Nite Tip, Mystic Stylez, Stomp, Where Dem Killas Hang. Legendary Verzus tonight...👊👍😎
Damn...watching this video today after the event and you talking about the beef being over today. Then Bizzy Bone & Juicy J had a scuffle of stage 😂😂 Cool video...thanks for the info
Choices by 3mafia is my favorite rap album of all time by them. Creepn on da Comeup is my fav Bone album
18:40 - 20:14
Well idk about havin a song on radio but they already were sendin shots at Bone before Mystic Stylez dropped. Look up LAY IT DOWN, it's a track on Koopsta Knicca solo tape Da Devils Playground. The track features Skinny Pimp, DJ Paul, Lord Infamous, LiL Gin and Carmike. Its from 1994. The the track is sick as fuck.
Notorious thugs was definitely a diss , look at the verses when bizzy performed the song when the 36 rivals part and also when he says test me know he doesn't say it at turns to them
I still remember the Bone Diss song Crucial Conflict did with Three 6 Mafia on their second album.
I absolutely LOVE all your videos!!Keep up the great work!!Very professional without you cussing!
You should document Jada vs 50 next!
Man,, another great video!
My era!✊🏿
Lord & Krayzie flow are similar but not the same at all
Great Documentary Brother👍
Great beef to cover!
This was a good ass video. Made me reminisce on a lot of things.
Grew up on both these talented groups.. but I still listen to 3-6 to this day.
In the bass head community 3-6 late night tip is still in the top 10 most played for Bass songs of all time. Love bone but 3-6 is on different levels and are still relevant today.
Thank u . Facts!!! I literally just came from a Project Pat 3-6 mafia concert
