      It's nice to see flesh tell his story, flesh was the bigger brother to bone and the best 👌 member in my opinion, flesh say he use to battle rap before they blew up,that makes sense since he was my favorite member, and I did notice his style of rap was more hard-core like a battle rapper, no wonder I liked him the most 🤣🤣🤣he had a lot of confidence too in himself, he really was the star of the group ,but bone thugs was my favorite rap group of all time ,one time layzie admitted flesh was a beast on the mic 🎤 he went hard

    • @Villeins09
      @Villeins09 8 месяцев назад +8

      @sidneywilder2731 Flesh is a beast, but he's definitely not the best in the group, in my opinion. His first album, T.H.U.G.S, was by far his best work as a solo artist. Fifth Dog Let Loose would be my second choice. Krayzie has always been the best in the group to me and my personal favorite. Although I do agree that Flesh is the big bro of the group. Krayzie is the leader. Bizzy is the wildcard. Layzie is the voice, and big Wish is the muscle.

Saw them in Chattanooga concert past December 2023, and they spotted me in the crowd and told crowd my government full name sbd how we were good friends and I helped them thru dome rough times! Couldn't believe they remembered that, brought me and fam on stage and I performed Thuggish Roughish Bone and hung out backstage till venue put us all out! I lived on The 99th St.Clair and they hung out at my house as well! This is my childhood legacy! I was pregnant 30 yrs ago with my daughter and it was surreal she got to meet them and know their songs. I do not get him. His style changed massively after The Art of War.
      Most his beats on those 2000s internet albums and on the album he did with Bizzy were not very good at all and none had that classic Bone sound.
      Even his solo album in 1999 had beats nowhere near as good as the earlier stuff.
      There are also many composition techniques and instruments which he completely stopped using, like the wah-wah guitar and legato synth whistles.
      I often wonder if there were other instrumentalists or composers on those earlier albums. Such as Bobby Jones, Tony C, Romeo Antonio and Kenny McCloud.

      In my eyes, when it comes to artistry, Kray is the G.O.A.T and no1 is even close, minus Bizzy and Lay.
      Not sure if it's alluded to in this interview cos I'm gonna listen tomorrow when I'm driving, but there's clips out there of Flesh where he explains how he got on Kray's back cos he felt with how talented he is he should be a lot more successful. I'm happy that they've all been able to create their own lanes, make an excellent living, AND still putting out excellent music...i currently have 820 songs in my Bone Thugs playlist lol out of all the rappers I've listened to over the years, the only ppl i still bump daily are Pac and Bone. Having made over 200 songs over the years, I'm not exactly impressed by ppl being able to rhyme words. It's the spirit of the people who wrote those words, and those are the people i resonate with. Other than that, if i wanted to listen to something i could truly relate too, I'd just dust off my mic.

    Bone also became famous on the 90's TV music channel The Box. On The Box you could order music videos from your home phone. The music videos cost between 99¢ and $3.99, and typically aired around 20 minutes after being ordered. And Bone played more than any artists on the channel. The 90's was an amazing time in Hip-Hop.

    Been a fan of Bone since december of 1998. First heard their record blastin' on my neighbor's 8000 watts car stereo, and that's when my taste in music changed from Michael Learns to Rock and Metallica to Bone Thugs, Tupac, DMX, and Coolio. At that time, I even wondered if they were human because I had never heard anyone rap that fast with such unique styles and voices, almost like they were products of artificial intelligence.Lmfbao 🇵🇭
