I LOVE that you metioned Valentino Uomo edt.... its one of the best fragrances that is being overlooked by the frag community. And thats why it never even crossed my attention it even existed, BUT BOY was i blown away by it when i smelled it 3 weeks ago that i imidiately bought 2 bottles of old reformulatio just to be secure if they reformulate it down the line. And the reaction every time i wore it since even in the summer was awesome, a few people even told me it smelled *fresh* which i couldnt believe since its super sweet and warm scent :D

I took a walk with one of my female coworkers today and she said Valentino Uomo smelt “soft”. What she said it didn’t smell masculine. I absolutely love this scent, and still one of my favorites! I love that chocolate and hazelnut scent, I just wanna get comfy lol
for me dylan blue goes with apple as well... It's not listed but I def smell an apple sweetness, with the black pepper and lavender freshened up with some aquatic notes.. It's like a summer aquatic version of F black with not as much black pepper and heaviness.

Check out Herod from Perfume de Marley if you like wanted by night. Herod is an all time favorite of mine and I have somewhere around 250 fragrances in my collection.
After dry-down, the discerning nose can tell the difference between Explorer and Aventus. They grow further apart the longer they are worn in my opinion.

I found a bottle of Valentino uomo on clearance the other day, $5 AUD for 50ml but it didn’t have a nozzle. As well as a brand new tester or YSL L’Homme 60ml for $20 AUD
@@jncSmokeY on myself I get a full days worth. It definitely gets softer as the day progresses. However I’ve had people tell me I smell amazing very late into the evening! Don’t forget to spray behind your ears and in the creases of your elbows if you want longevity 🤩
I haven't tried the Boisee, but I don't like Gentleman Givenchy EDP - sold it on since. YSL Y EDP - I like it but it gets cloying! Might try to get the EDT one. Montblanc Explorer - I tried to like this, I just don't. It is very sharp and citrusy. Then again, I'm not a big fan of even Aventus itself. Dior Homme 2020 - Have not tried, but I like the original one. Mont Blanc Legend (Original) - My first fragrance and I wore it during my university days. Have not tried the Legend Night though, Polo Red Extreme - meh. I prefer the Red Intense, fresher. Valentino Uomo - I like it ok. Comparable to Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo. Gucci Guilty - Have not tried this. JPG Ultra Male - I'm trying to get this at reasonable price, failing so far!
Ultra Male is probably one of my top most disappointing blind buys (considering the hype factor) of all time, the opening is great and note worthy but it doesnt last more than 15 minutes, after that all you left is this warm sweet feminine nauseating aroma, could get away with it in cold weather outside,. but if you bring this inside it will devour you, its very strong and you will wish it wasnt.
Agreed but I was lucky to buy a 10ml vial first, sprayed twice and totally forgot it. In short, its "meh" whilst reviewers and online sellers hyped it up as the king of club of dating. Tbh I dont find it attracting but its performance giving me headache

Performance off of my skin is really potent. I got called out for going heavy on the cologne with this one and I did 5 sprays and it was over 6 hours after I applied it.

I have Mercedes Benz Club Black for 3 years now, but I can't use it. Every time I try it I like it, but there is something in there that makes me nauseous. I can't stand it.
cdni- longer lasting, harsher opening, mb explorer - lighter, weaker longevity, but cdni was sth I couldn't wear - was too much for me. i tried aventus also and its best in case of overall scent and balance. so cdni if u want best performance and explorer if you want more mass appealing, easier to wear fragrance imo
