    Apple is great at optimizing iOS extremely well for their few devices, which is the reason why the iPhone 12 performed so well here. Imagine if they made an iPhone with let's say a 5000mAh battery. It would be INSANE. I've actually been thinking about switching to iOS, but the lack of customisation options and fun experimental features are stopping me. Still through, iPhones stay up to date for way longer than most other devices, plus they feel polished and pleasant to use, so we'll see about my next phone...

      @MrPaul-bb6ng 3 года назад

      for sure man,i mean i really think so but it depends on one thing,I don t know if the adaptive refresh works when you re on 60hz,it could depend on that cause when you re using the adaptive refresh rate on 120hz,the refresh goes down to around 40hz when you don t need it,so that's why it might take less battery consumption than the full time 60hz,but idk I m just saying.

    one thing to consider...is that your iphone 12 has a yellowish tone to the screen which will save more battery than the normal whites that other phones have.. and would like to know if you turned off the 120hz display on samsung or not.

      Sony wins by far. Being set to 120Hz constantly throughout the entire test, and still lasted for more than 8 hours is a testament of how well the 5 II was optimized.
      How come Samsung's variable 120Hz display and more efficient 5nm SoC still can't beat Sony's last year's flagship? 😂

    Perhaps the only channel to do standby test too! Yes, by switching to 60hz Sony would most likely take 1st place. iPhone might even take 3rd behind s21. I don't agree about Snapdragon vs Exynos. I think since Samsung chose to mess with the non-US market and give them exynos, then they get to be tested with it.

    • @wellszhou8286

      Samsung probably not second, but I have to agree with Sony, like man, that is good battery, but iPhone is no slouch either and have 9 hours on 60 hertz, which S21 may be close but not overtake iPhone and therefore should take 2nd place
