Heard it the first time in this video by Tim ruclips.net/video/JsnlFVIZN0A/видео.html and it's been my favorite Polyphia's riff ever since. I was hyped for their last album waiting for that specific song to be released. Such a disappointment. If it doesn't make it to album 5 I'll be so pissed.

BTW, if you haven't noticed already, the loon call near the beginning of some of these songs is Y2K's equivalent signature on a song. It's similar to how DJ Khalid yells his name at the beginning of his songs.
Examples: 6:43 and 0:35 in this video as well as 0:08 on G.O.A.T.
Yeah, it’s his tag, y2k is phenomenal, and anytime I hear the loon in a song, I know it’s gonna be sick asf!!

That last demo made me realize how insane a Samurai-influenced nylon shred would be from these guys.

Some great stuff here. The song at 6:34 is super groovy and smooth! They need to do something with this one for sure!!!!!!!! I need that song finished! 🔥🔥🔥 Please!!!
Polyphia has found the sweet spot! This sound they have now is it! It has it all but blended amazingly well. What I am loving right now are the songs that are more on the groovy and head bouncing songs. The nylon strings and other add on’s you don’t expect like the whistling in Playing God and trumpet at the end of Ego Death. Those little touches are like the cherry on top! There is always going to be haters finding something to call out. Yes there is some parts produced that they don’t play. They play what they are suppose to play. The way it’s produced is the final touches that enhance the song. Not a great comparison but it’s kinda like going to a magic show and saying it’s all fake. Ridiculiusly stupid. Polyphia’s newest songs are the best so far! Playing God and Ego Death still my favorite. The new record is awesome!
