The cap is clear (I actually read that in the description 🤦🏽♀️ lol) so the amber color seen through the cap is the color of the balm itself. Easy way to identify the color because the cap will look different with each color.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. There aren’t many brown skin girlies reviewing this palette yet so this was very helpful! ❤. What brushes were you using to apply the highlighter?
@@BorntobeGreat1 of course! I used mostly my natural hair brushes (Sonia G & Wayne Goss) so far. It also picked up well with my BK Beauty brushes too. Honestly the formula is so good any brush will pick it up well.
Thank you so much for doing this. It was great information. I really like the colors. And it does look like a highlighter. Even on pal skin it looks like a highlighter. I really liked the colors and I wanted this to be good blush colors with a silky feel. Now I can stop looking for this in my city. 😂
@@serpismile i love both actually 😅 The key difference is hindash you’re only getting one shade (& that finish is a blinding glass skin type highlighter). Chanel you’re getting a glass skin highlighter (peach), one really blinding highlighter (silver champagne) & 2 colored ones with a soft focus glow (the pink & copper). So Chanel has more variety (if you want options & like mixing shades) but if you’re not going to use all 4 shades & just want one bright blinding highlighter the Hindash is the better choice.
Just came across your video 😍 I just reviewed the collection on YT and posting my blog on Monday I love how you used this palette. For me the makeup also looked the same up to 8 hours. The palette is nice for what it is, but I honestly wish it was more diverse. It needed a matte or strong satin imo The rouge baume are ok I think . The pigment in these are 👎🏾. I like the YSL ones better as they are more hydrating after a long period of time. But they definitely reformulated these I think. Anyway, I just liked and subbed your channel ❤ I have a beauty and fashion channel to and would love for you to check it out!
@@Lovemonniibee thank you love! I appreciate that & you sharing your perspective! I do recall them releasing a few palettes with more opaque colors in the past (I have one with a vibrant cherry red & they had a colorful one this past Christmas); I’d say look out for those type of releases in the future that have actual blush colors in them.
I am pale and redish in my face. I did know that this palette would be a disaster on me. But i did buy it anyhow. Because i can make it work since i have knowledge about makeup. But those that have my complextion should avoid it. I bought the pink eyeshadow too because it is with this a can survive this🤣. And i have other eyeshadows to support it. When they say that this is for all skintypes are lying. This is defenitly for a warm skin tone than a cold tone like me. I wish they made one palette for cold tones and one for warm Tones. I did actually think it would should off more on your fantastik skin color.
@@krooks6367 it’s unfortunate this doesn’t really work out for you, but I am seeing a few ppl closer to the very fair spectrum say the same thing. Thanks for sharing!

Great review, thank you :) How would you compare the face palette to Hindash's Doll Dynasty highlighter (which was among your favourites of the year)?
