We’re just really upset that she left vampire diaries to pursue something else (not in the film business) if you guys aren’t fans of the show. It was amazing and I have a feeling this show isn’t going to last long . it’s not the same .

A good actor has to branch out their genres and it’s good she wants to explore her range. If you’re not into sitcoms then of course you’re gonna find it to be cheesy and cringey and most of the time that’s what a sitcom is. Nothing will ever top Friends for me but I’m gonna give this show a chance before judging.

Actually the guy and Nina just starred in a move together and they had good chemistry in the movie so they cast him again in the series. I think they get along really well in teal life

For everybody being negative or saying they don’t like the show or she shouldn’t have left tvd, if you were really her fans you would understand that tvd is something she didn’t feel comfortable with. She didn’t like playing the role of a teenager. She’s happy playing in this comedy. So why can’t you just let her be happy. This is what she wants to do, if you don’t like the show no need to leave hate.
Well I'm not sure where that was said but her goodbye post was saying how she always felt that Elena's journey was a six season one and she wanted to be able to leave and explore other opportunities.

okay it looks somewhat decent but honestly I don’t think this genre is for Nina. For those of us who have seen vampire diaries, we all remember Elena’s breakdown after Jeremy died and Nina’s acting was ON. POINT. in that scene. You feel Elena’s pain. I think Nina Dobrev did amazing on vampire diaries and that this show is honestly beneath her skill level and she’s trying to sink to that level because she doesn’t know what else to do. All I know is she’s a better actor than this just watch tvd so I don’t know why she’s doing this.
I think she’s slightly desperate rn. She’s not an in demand actress and she’s not doing anything where she’s ACTING acting.

Is it just me or is she suddenly acting bad? Maybe she is not comfortable in her role within a sitcom but remembering Vampire Diaries she was a really good actress in it. But most of those scenes within this trailer she seems over acting and also you don't buy it. It seems off somehow. Maybe you know what I mean.

I don't think she's a bad actress, i think she's over acting because it's a comedy and in comedies, actors are often over acting. I think the production wanted that too because she still a good actress to me. Sorry for my mistakes in english, it's not my first langage :)

Stephanie Pinto an interview said it wasn’t even laugh tracks and it was a live audience with 300 people. Which makes it worse
marzkalico art i saw that interview. Having people laugh in the background is so old fashioned. It’s even hard sometimes watching Friends because of it.

this just came on my recommendations. all i have to say is nina is an amazing actress. like in tvd you could really feel her pain. its good to see her trying out other genres but i think she should focus on doing more complex roles. she deserves better than a sitcom.

It's like Elena entered an alternate drama-free vampire-free reality where everything is copacetic lol. No love triangle drama, no dead then alive then dead parent drama, sibling is drug free, hell she even gets along with her in laws. It's everything Elena wanted and never got: a nice, somewhat normal life. If you watch this with the head canon that Elena had a breakdown and was compelled to forget her old life it makes perfect sense lol.

this tráiler it's so much funnier than the first one... Shannon and the Dad are the funnies one... I think the role of nina in this is to be the more serious one with a little bit of comical so I think is perfect... and now I'm really excite about the show
