Watching you clean your house all by yourself brought tears to my eyes. I can relate. I am constantly cleaning up after everyone and I don't have any help. Sometimes I feel taken advantage of. I can spend hours cleaning a room and then my husband leaves things all over. I don't feel appreciated.
I’m so sorry to hear that. That’s crappy on his part. My husband will help but he was just occupying the kids in this video. We used to be that way years ago an I got sick of it and started doing nothing. Now we have just grown to not throw fits about stuff between us unless the other feels like handling it alone.
That's how I feel 5 kids and a husband that destroy quicker than I can clean. I feel very defeated most days.
Ellena Navarro Ms. Navarro, talk to your husband, and let him know that you are not his maid. You are his wife. And if he doesn't pick up.. anything that you find on the floor that belongs to him..You are going to throw it in the garbage. The house chores go 50/50. It's not fair for you.
Girl, talk to him, you need your Life to be more than just cleaning! My Partner and I made a Plan, I do the laundry, the bathroom an the living room. He's Job is the Kitchen and the sleeping room. It works great! At the beginning I had to He strong, to not clean up behind him, because He cleaned so.... OK. But Now he's cleaning up more often and better than me 😅
I’m a young mom of 4 young kids, I don’t think it’s so bad to clean after all of them. I think it’s our God given talent even though it does get overwhelming. Husbands are just more work oriented, we’re better at cleaning. Like the Bible teaches us to love your husband & children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands. Some ladies without kids & husband probably wish they’d have a mess to clean after their family members. God bless you with the strength!!
Lady...after all this cleaning..You must it finished exhausted. You deserve to go to a spa and relax with a good massage. Teach your family not to be so messy. You are not a maid. You are a human being. Give your kids house chores responsibilities. It will not hurt them.
My mom would have killed me and my brothers, if we made such a mess in the house. Throwing food or anything to the ground or the funitur is a No-Go Here, especially because of our pets. We had cats and dogs and they would eat everything. Now in my own flat I have 3 free running bunnys, a dirty floor or litter on the floor would be Not that good. I would DIE, if my living room would Look like a bomb exploded in it.....
I would love a dog or cat but I can't fathom the pet dander, hair and smell.. my kids still ask for one often though.

I'm not putting you down, but my goodness! Some people in that house need to learn to not be slobs. Kids included. It's SO much easier to live clean than to clean up after that kinda mess. Especially kids...teach them while they are young so this isn't their life either. You are not a maid. Throwing the clothes down the laundry shoot took you 2.5 seconds. Just THAT little step in that bathroom made a huge diff.

exactly I thought why couldn't the person's who's clothes they were simply put their clothes down the shoot (wishing I had one of them) instead of mum having to do it. my man Is a pain so I'm teaching my son to help me, he now puts his plate in the sink and puts his rubbish in the bin and will put his dirty clothes over either beside or inside the washing machine (he is almost 5)
Real life with kids. I always have to chuckle at the "clean with me" ladies that are already cleaning a spotless home...not real life. Life is messy.

Did you ever think that those women’s homes are always ‘clean’? I clean everyday and i clean areas that appear clean anyways. This way the house never gets so bad that it takes hours to clean.
I don't mind. I get a days worth of workout because I'm home all day and don't get much activity.
I really don’t like when people say that spotless homes aren’t real life drives me nuts. Yes yes they are mine is and I’m telling you it feels like real life to me. Because I clean it.We just keep on top of everything. I clean as I cook, load of washing gets done every day, I vac everyday etc etc. I’m not having a go at anybody’s house that’s not spotless or very tidy at the very least because real life everybody is different. They way we think about our home and cleaning and what everyone’s standards are are different. Also just life circumstances are different. Not everyone’s life is messy.

Honey those with negative comments probably have messier homes with no motivation. You are a breath of fresh air to me! I’m very immobile because of health issues and wished I could clean like this again. But I do the best I can. You are so very precious! You go girl! ❤️

Hey girl! I love your kitchen floor! As far as cleaning motivation vs. Criticism, you will never win the praises of everyone. We all live differently, do things differently, and have various priorities. With that said, it's not where you start, it's where you finish and your finished product was awesome and motivating to me personally as a home owner, with a husband, job, and other obligations. One thing I’ve learned from being a housekeeper is to do your sweeping/moping last! As you’re cleaning more stuff and crumbs go on the floor so if you wait until you’re done with the room(s) you’re cleaning it’ll save you a little bit of time!! Loved watching this btw, your house looked great!
Allison Salyer what i find is by the time I’m done absolutely everything, I’m exhausted and the floors seem like a huge task. So I always do things out of order!

Thank you for your replies. I’m also a stay at home mom with 5 kids. I give my kids chores but they are only to complete on the weekends. I want to start with routines to keep my house clean but I need lots of motivation. Right now I’m so overwhelmed.
I wouldn't add a channel to your stress unless you want it honestly. I would also give you the advice of practicing room cleaning. My methods are not popular to most here on RUclips but I value my sanity and peace of mind more than the opinion of someone who may see a messy room. Dedicate a room to each day to deep clean it. Monday do the kitchen and Tuesday one room. And then on the weekends maybe have the kids help bigger stuff like laundry and vacuuming. That way your not running around everyday to try and manage the entire house. Especially with 5 children. It can be done though don't get me wrong, I don't want to discourage you from finding your groove but also know it doesn't all have to be done in one day ❤️

I just came across this video. It's good to see an actual messy house being cleaned. Mine hasn't gotten that bad, but I'm a stay at home mom and I love organization so I do my best to stay on top of it. Laundry and dishes are my hardest part...with 5 kids though it never ends.
My mother and sister in law have OCD with cleanliness! This is literally the speed I go at when they are coming over 😂
Now I want to deep clean my house tomorrow and organize everything! 😅 thanks for the inspiration hehe

You are so real - when I say my house is a mess, it really is. I have 3 teens, I miss the days when they were just little and home all the time making those memorable messes. Another sad note is that they tease me saying I was always concerned with cleaning, saying the house was never clean enough for me, they don’t remember the mess as a mess but remember it as life happening! Ignore the haters! I loved this video and I watched it all the way to the end, had to see the out come of you busting your butt!! And a note to the haters, like I tell my children, you are entitled to your opinion unless your intent is to cause someone pain or spill hate, and if it is someone’s post, thread, video etc. the right thing to do if you don’t agree is keep scrolling. What I've never understood about having a dishwasher was you had to rinse the dishes first. What I'm getting at is that you might as well hand wash them you're kinda half way there anyway. You know? Lol!
I just absolutely hate to wash and my dishwasher washes them in scolding hot water for over 30 minutes.
Lool I feel you on that logic, why do I have to prewash dishes in order to put them in the dishwasher? Lol but it honestly does help get rid of those extremely tough stains.
If you want your dishwasher to have a longer life... you’ll rinse your plates off. Food built up can damage them.
My old apartment had new dishwasher I never used it when I was moving the owner was like you didn’t use the dishwasher and I said I don’t see the point of dishwasher
Some new dishwashers you don't have to, but the older ones you do. Even from a few years ago. I use a dishwasher nightly and if all I have to do is rinse them first than I'm happy lol
My house easily gets like this with 2 toddlers tearing things up, 2 dogs chewing up toys, and everything in between. There are some days I'm so overwhelmed I can't touch anything. Im terrible at cleaning and I always jump from room to room and get nothing accomplished, but watching you helps me so much!!! Thank you for being one of the real ones!

I could never let my place get like this and it would drive me bananas! (I have a 2 year old and 4 year old and a baby one the way! I clean throughout the day though.) Lol
People have to realize though, sometimes life gets messy. You did a great job mama. Perhaps having a serious talk with the kiddos and hubby to tidy up more after themselves will relieve you of so much house work.

I don't know why people leave rude comments it's like maybe you're a stay-at-home mom maybe you don't have s*** else to do but keep your house clean maybe you don't suffer from anxiety or depression or stress to the point where you see all this mess you can't even touch it cuz it's too much to handle. Maybe your kids or husband listen to you and help around the house or maybe you have it all handled all on your own.
