- Last week, EgyptAir has taken delivery of its first of 12 A220-300 aircraft on order, becoming the first A220 operator based in the Middle East and North African region, and the sixth operator worldwide. The Cairo-based airline intends to fly the aircraft on routes to and from its main Egyptian Hub in Cairo in the coming days. I'm working as production staff at a company that makes the cabin interiors for A220 here in California, we are working on overhead bins decoration. It's so interesting to see on this video a whole finished product.

I recommend making AIRBUS A220-Neo
LOL. The A220 uses a version of the P&W engines that grace the A320neo. There’s literally no newer engine to make this a neo.

12:1 by pass ratio! 737 MAX only has 9:1 the A220 is far more efficient and safer and 5,000 MAX orders should be switched to A220!

Can't really compare the 737 with the a220.
The A220 would have been a competitor only for the MAX 7 in terms of passanger capacity and range. But as it is now. It's unlikely Boeing will ever build the MAX 7.
Intrestingly the A220-300 also competes directly with the A319 Neo and beets it in fuel efficiency and and unit price. You can get 3 A220-300 for the price of 2 A319 Neo.
Ball4life yea, fundamentally different, the A220 is not a 50 year old obsolete airframe and doesn't nose dive into the ground, that's the Airbus difference
@@james-baa1249 That's not exactly true. Bombardier actually searched for someone to buy their C-Series program for some time. Embrear were not intrested and so was initially Airbus. Only after Bombardier approached Airbus again with a slightly different deal Airbus got bought into it.
Which in hindsight is a bit ironic for Embrear because the A220 outsells their E2 series by some margin and they could have had this whole project rather cheap if they weren't so ignorant.
