Then people need to think and have space somewhere in sailboat for gasoline.. to have when they are somewhere exploring islands and remote areas...
This electric one all what you need is good electric power station or solar panels,.....

Look like is not that big or heavy so it can be easily installed to zodiac after anchoring

@@nagel133 I belive that people in Mercury's are thinking abaut salt and now salt can do damage.... proper sealed "engine" block or cover to minimize salt damage after year's they think probably on all possible trouble..
Also I see 100 YT videos from people who live on sail boats how complaining to ther outboard engine's when are anchored and noone to repair and want to go to harbor for example do food shopping for further travel/explore....
@@nagel133 its make for fast qnd easy instal on zodiac after anchoring.... after just take off and do wash whit waters to remove salt from engine after use... is 2 minute job....

Exactly - I bought it simply because it’s lighter and easier for my to get it in and off dingy to back of sailboat by myself - I sail solo a lot! So for me it’s perfect for what I need

750w motor and 1kwh battery. it will run for 75 minutes at 5mph? so if you live 7 miles away good luck. if its a standard battery 4-5 hours to charge it.

Run out of juice miles out..a helpful boater has no charging station.. Run out of has miles out..a helpful boater might have a extra gal of gas... combustion engine always...lose the ev farce...
