  • Errand running in town turned into a rare and unexpected shortline foaming incident today.
    Flooding in SE South Dakota in June 2024 resulted in a bridge on the BNSF at North Sioux City IA being washed out. This was D&I's link over former MILW track to Sioux City IA. D&I now temporarily detours over BNSF Corson and Marshall Subdivisions to access Sioux City.

      @TwoRailfans D&I is a class act. Clean locomotives are part of a larger corporate image philosophy. I'm lucky to call some of the railroad employees friends. Good people, all of them!

    This heavy metal piece of Machinery is absolutely gorgeous, what an astonishing amount of horsepower 9000!! Absolutely unheard of before!! Totally spellbinding!!🤘🤘💙
