You ladies never disappoint. So smart, eloquent and beautiful. Thank you for your effort here with this great film.
Yikes
@@English_MoFo?
its true, they are attractive.

😂😂😂😂
One of the best films of all time. The plot, the score, the acting, the visuals… all impeccable. Loved the reaction. You guys are great!
“It’s not possible… no it’s necessary.” Is so corny but it’s probably my favourite movie line ever
It's inspired by lines used in an old SF series of novels called the Lensman series. Most SF readers know them, if they are as old as me and the director.
Basically, Hero discovers his whole family's history (from pre-history, in fact) has been controlled by aliens, masters of mental abilities, to create the correct person to make certain decisions and take certain actions.
Everything he knew about them was about how they knew what would happen, and were guiding him. 'Why? Why all that?' He asks them.
'It was NECESSARY.' They answer. In capital letters, no less.
It was about making someone able to go beyond the forces of destiny and find the solution to certain problems impossible to avoid, as they could predict the future rather well. - and this was the only way to defeat evil, as it was their reflection. Wild stuff, written in the early 1930s.
This sort of stuff is why when John Carter was finally made as a movie, it seemed corny. All SF derives from those early stories.
It also sounds like something he'd say in a Lincoln commercial.
1:00:33 because my dad promised me... 🤗🥲
Fun Fact: on the water/wave planet the ticking/water droplet sound you hear every second or so represents a WHOLE DAY passing back on earth.
Someone else has probably said this already but the depiction of the black hole in this movie was actually based on computer simulations using our best understanding of physics and black holes. At the time this movie was made there was not yet any photographic evidence of black holes, now we have, though it is not very detailed you can see that it's remarkably similar. Theoretical physicist Kip Thorne was the science consultant for this movie and Christopher Nolan (the director) made sure to make the science as accurate as possible. He wrote a book called "The science of Interstellar" which goes into all that in great detail. Of course the inside the black hole is entirely speculative but the rest is pretty accurate. Masterpiece.
i've read this on some other reactions. were those you too?
@@laramiaizz Nope, it's just fairly well known among people who like this movie and watch reactions of it.
Not for nothing but, the both of you together are exceptional at this reacting thing. Always focused on the movie and the commenting is concise and to the point. And very smart and insightful. Just a great movie reaction!
You two are some of the only reactors that understood what we (future 5 dimensional humans) were doing by placing Cooper into the tesseract inside the black hole to upload data to TARS and have COOPER get her attention and pick a communication method in this movie right away! I’m proud of you both! 😁 Edmunds died when his beacon had stopped sounding; died in a landslide.
Cooper’s son, Tom, had been dead 20 years before Cooper got brought back to Saturn.
I rewatch this movie, like, every week.
51:22 "See, it's Murph!" 🥰
Honestly, you followed the movie better than most. What was really awesome is if one of you got a little lost, the other sorted it out, so between the two of you, you were right on top of everything happening. 😊
I very much enjoyed watching along and y'all are both so charming it was like watching a favorite movie with a couple of my bff's. ❤️👌
The reason that they were moving so slow in Miller’s planet was because it has a HUGE gravitational pull. About 130% more than that of Earth due to the black hole Gargantua being so close to it. You would have to strain a lot just to lift your foot on that planet
Imagine training for a marathon on that planet tho👀...you'd be a tank with a jet speed when you get back on earth
My fav movie of all time
This movie is masterpiece .
No one movie make me cry so much ^^
Thank you for your reaction video.
Great reaction. This movie is one of my absolute favorites, and seeing you piece together what was happening was really fun. Thanks for sharing it with us!
This is my favorite movie. I've watched it so many times. Thank you for reacting to it. I'll subscribe because I enjoy how perceptive, smart, and how lovely your joys and sadness mirrored my own with this movie.
From the second Mann breaks through Coops helmet glass to almost the end is a wild ride. The spinning docking scene is one of the most intense scenes I've ever watched. Thanks for reviewing!
There is a moment.💀
Girls during the tapes scene i was balling my eyes out too! Just the feeling of being absent from so many things from your family's life which would have been basically your life and watching everything pass by within a few minutes, brilliant idea and execution. That part of the movie stayed with me the most...
one thing I never thought about until watching this again is the bodies that got left behind, each one would be full of bacteria an germs inside our bodies etc. Its almost like planting seeds on these planets that maybe life will evolve from
great reaction. never hold back those beautiful tears 😭
18:22 I think looking at her to see/work out "her internal what and why", what is her first reason for doing this type of thing. It is understandable that you wondered if it was romantic, simply because normally looking so closely is tied to that sort of questioning. Y'all are awesome.
About Doyle and his fatal mistake: None of the crew members were really prepared for such pressure and adversity. Brand screwed up, Doyle screwed up, and Dr. Mann especially screwed up. Mann went half-insane from the loneliness and despair of knowing that his life was over.
You just can’t tell how people - even highly trained people - will react when they’re truly faced with grave danger and death.
They couldn’t moved fast bc the gravity there was 7 times stronger than on earth, so if Doyle weighed 200lbs on earth it was like he weighed 1400lbs on gargantua
@@ScottyDoesntKnow69….. Miller’s Planet had 130% the gravity of Earth. CASE said this when they first left the ship and started walking. A 200 lb. person would weigh 260 lbs on Miller’s Planet.
@@ScottyDoesntKnow69 Lol, at 7G you wouldn't even move a finger. Check your facts before talking out of your ass. Miller's planet was 1.3G which is enough to make your movement noticeably slower.
You two are officially my favorite reaction channel.
Love that you gave us a long reaction to this film, honestly one of the best films I’ve ever watched and love seeing people react to it, reactors usually skip past so much though, watched every single second of your reaction! Beautiful souls, both of you! ❤️
Joseph Cooper, played by Matthew McConaughey, realizes that these beings are not extraterrestrial entities but rather far-future humans. These evolved humans exist beyond the confines of the third dimension and have harnessed the power to manipulate time and space. Great choice and reaction, ladies. 😃👍
every father's connection to their daughter is very important. you can feel how these ladies adore murph's and cooper's connection.
You ladies followed the plot of this much better than I did the first time I saw it. I had to watch it a few times to get everything that happened. Impressive.
I interpreted Edmund as dead because over 70 years have passed since he landed there. Remember, the crew wasted 23 years on the water planet and then another 50+ years going around the giant black hole. By the time Brand got to Edmund’s planet he would’ve lived his life. Idk I could be wrong but that’s how I understood it lol
Yes normally he would be old by that time. But the creators confirmed what happened was that he went to cryosleep and then a landslide ruined the camp and killed him. Also that's why the signals from his planet stopped coming too.
It actually took me a couple of watchings of this movie to fully grasp everything from it. Such a great one and a tear jerker at times. Keep up the great reactions you two.
With each passing reaction, love yours more & more. Keep 'em coming.
I loved how at the end you just wanted to hold onto the feeling you came away from the movie with. I understand! It's like when you wake up after a beautiful dream and just lie in bed, holding onto that feeling.🥰 ❤️
On Miller’s planet (the tidal-wave world), the ticking you hear in the soundtrack is significant: Every tick equals one day passing on Earth.
57:44 first handshake 🤯
Watching this with you two I was able to catch so much more than all the other times I've watched before, y'all ask & answer all the right questions.
loved watching this reaction. i was crying right along with you and i loved all the things you noticed.
Y'all are so perfect. Thank you for your time here :))
You guys are so smart ❤ loved this reaction
I was waiting for this one. My favorite movie ever.
Also: on the water planet, the pull from the black hole is so strong that the waves themselves stay constant, it’s the planet itself that’s moving.
That how tides work on Earth too 👍
Adult Murphy was also in the fantastic space sci-fi movie, The Martian!! And also astronaut Dr Mann!😮😮😮
You ladies just keep rocking.
Not being the smartest man, I had to watch this 3 times to understand it. The same with Arrival and Napoleon Dynamite..😂
Much love and success to you both.❤❤
One of my favourite movies. Hurts me every time I watch it :) But it's so good
18:57 He wants to know what might be motivating things when and if they have to choose between planet destinations. He has that overarching mission overview type of mindset, it is relevant when they get to this point 34:07
Murphy's Law 2:25 ah such a great idea and movie!
Thanks for the great reaction. And what a movie trip you two went through, because you all took the journey in exactly how the director wants it. So you managed to experience the fullness of the movie, the characters, paid attention to the things they say, the words they use, the music, can catch the story development and let the story drives you, the emotions and the reveals, and didn't try to guess all the mysteries from start, didn't converse too much and missed details. We "reactees" are glad, and also very happy for your personal experience as well.
You can consider experiencing Inception (2010) next, another masterpiece from Christopher Nolan.
You guys make some of the best reaction videos. I can't wait for the next ones.
Great reaction👍 I had to watch this movie three times before I got to understand the main ideas.
I loved your reactions. So on point. Regards from Brazil.
I loved your reaction to one of my favorite movies of ALL TIME!! Subscribing!!!
Great reaction. You gained a subscriber
55:27 Amen, both of them and their LOVE :)!!!
Hello Ladies! I just came across your channel and I’m so glad I did. I’m a little late to the party (so to speak), but your reaction to Interstellar, which is in my opinion a masterpiece is right on point. You worked out the details and the plot so well. I’ve seen a lot of reactions to this movie and by far yours is the one of the best. This year is the 10th anniversary of the release of this film and it will return to the theaters in September. I can’t wait! Just a few facts, yes young Tom is Timothée Chalamet. Coop - Matthew McConaughey’s character is 35 years old. Tom is 15 and Murph is 10 years old. Coop and his wife met in college in Denver, Colorado but the movie was filmed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The director and co-writer of this film, Christopher Nolan actually had 500 acres of corn planted because he hates CGI so much. The corn was harvested and sold for profit to offset the production cost. Dr. Mann - actor Matt Damon’s robot KIPP is actually named after Kip Thorne, a Nobel laureate and American theoretical physicist. He wrote a book about Interstellar travel and black holes which accurately depicted black holes 5 years before they proved how they looked! And lastly I saw an interview with Jessica Chastain who was the adult version of Murph who stated that she has met a lot of people who named their daughters Murph or Murphy. Thank you for your time and your excellent reaction to Interstellar.
25:37 waves
wow , what a treat ,i never thought you would do this one .
Since you both enjoyed this fantastic movie. I will highly recommend watching, Contact, starring Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey.
And Arrival... though you might have watched that one already? I can't remember. Also Gravity isn't as emotional but WHAT A RIDE (especially in 3D).
16:42 Wow. Excelent insight. Nice.
Watched this one in the theatre and it was mindblowing. It´s not the same feeling on small screen tho :D
One of the greatest reactions to this movie I've seen yet. Thank you for that.👍👍
Your reactions are the best on RUclips. So real. You guys should watch an explanation on this movie because even if you think you got it all, probably missed a little something and it’s really worth taking another look .
John Lithgow? He was in an alien in Third Rock from the Sun, which is underrated and forgotten sit com.
Harry and The Hendersons
@@francisalbert1799No, Harry was the communications officer 🤔
52:11 You nailed it! Here because this was the greatest point of reality he was closest too that is not limited to our universe but transcends it. To give some context, the finite conditional reality of the universe we know necessarily must exist with in the absolute unconditional unlimited reality which alone can be the basis for any other reality. It is noteworthy that such absolute reality is needed for the conditions of this reality to possibly be met such that it has existence. Perhaps the life of love in our hearts is greater, less conditioned, and has a greater capacity to be absolute - then anything else in the universe. See, what Dr. Brand was saying about love, and it connecting her to Dr. Wolf Edmunds, made very real sense after all :)))
You talked about the beginning being like a documentary. It actually was. Except for the old version of Murphy, all the old people talking in the beginning are actually clips from the Ken Burns documentary on American Dust Bowl so they actually lived through what they were talking about.
Love is quantifiable.
This movie is an Amouage to the movie '2001 A Space Odessey'. So many Easter Eggs, even in some of the music. I keep both films close to me.
Absolutely love your reactions ladies
Just saw the two Godfather film reactions today you did which I totally loved
And this of Interstellar I loved too
Just would loved to hear mention of director Chris Nolan and actor Matthew McConaughey contributions as solidly responsible for this film's gloriousness
The film is an epic space opera romance
One of a kind - I saw it 6 times at the movie theater when it was released, taking everyone - friends, family....
All good - will tune in again
I went to school to get a PhD in astro physics just to understand this movie
After I saw it in the theater three times, I bought a 65” Sony HDTV and put it on my wall…..just to watch it again and again….😊
Only to find out it was just science fiction
The ending is too much
They used clips from Ken Burns documentary about the dust bowl. That’s why you feel it’s documentary style.
51:47 Through the limitations of the three dimensions we well know, this place of LOVE happens is the nearest reality present to him on the other side of the wormhole.
41:09 ryl is picking up something's wrong with Dr Mann...
30:33 23 years 4 months 8 days
When Brand is on Edmunds' planet you can see his hab buried into the rocks meaning it collapsed somehow and got burried, killind Edmunds in the process, you can also see a mound where she puts his badge, so she buried him
Beautiful movie.
Let's get it.
Such an incredible movie. In my top 5 of best movies ever. Hits hard.
I have a suggestion for a movie nobody else had reacted to but I promise you will enjoy it. Lots of emotion and substance. The house of sand and fog. Must see it :)
Another fun fact: cooper doesnt passes away because he put his head at the opposite side of the spin
54:31 ^_^ The Love within Y'all Did :D 💯% amazing film❣💯%
Type in here on RUclips, strangers play Interstellar on piano in public!😮😮😮
One one jare squad
Great reaction. This is my favourite movie, I even made a song about travelling through a blackhole inspired by it. It was impressive how you both were able to understand so much from the first watch!
I hope you both react to “Bicentennial Man” and “Meet Joe Black” as well.☺️
how can you watch a 3 hours movie in that position?? my neck would be broken within an hour. 😂😂
Love watching you two :)
They had access to infinite time and space, but they could not communicate, he was the bridge that managed to communicate with his daughter through love, love was the only thing that transcends time and space.
if she hadn't loved her father, she would never stay connected to him, she wouldn't have gone back for the watch ecc.
Nice reaction, thank you so much. Maybe you want to take a look the movie Ex Machina, too. That's also an interesting movie.
49:43 in every reaction I have seen, no emotion for the man falling into the black hole. Damn.
I used to underestimate Matt Damon as an actor. But after his villain roles in The Departed and this film, i just hated him so much 😆
And he makes it look so efortless. Same thing with Matthew McConaughey. The performances in this movie are top-notch 👌
Also if you haven't watched The Departed (2006), very very very recommended film
Why do you two share a single AirPods set? You both are missing out on some amazing audio and music.
Check out the Space 1999 episode The Black Sun
Let’s go ❤
As weird as the fifth dimensional trip in the black hole was for Cooper, reality for us is going to be so much weirder
You should watch "Just the Murphs"
The best movie of the cemtury for me.
Congratulations! You all are the only reactors I’ve seen who understand the idea behind Cooper’s interactions with the past inside the tesseract. It isn’t time travel, as many reactors think. It is a sound, philosophical idea that will be 1,500 years old next year. It was conceived by Boethius (480-524) in the last year of his life and discussed in his book, "The Consolation of Philosophy," considered one of the most important works of medieval philosophy.
To explain how God’s omniscience can be reconciled with human free will, Boethius conceived the idea that, for God, all time exists simultaneously (because God exists outside of time). Inside the tesseract, Cooper experiences God’s time, which suggests that the fifth-dimensional beings (i.e., our future selves) have evolved to a godlike state. This conception of God’s time is still held today by many Evangelicals and other Christian sects.
Thank you very much for NOT watching with subtitles. Subtitles would have spoiled the movie in the first two minutes.
If 2D is brane
and 3D is bulk
what does 4D manifest as?
1:09:51 Yes, at least for sure in living so centrally from the place of love ^_^ Really quite magnificent, ain't she..
If u don't cry during this, u have no heart!
53:33 ❤
Watching this movie had me like 🤔
why you guys do this to me every time? i put my bandana on then Ryl begins to cry then Jyn begins to cry and then i lose it too ..
💜💜🥹
